Matti Prower You guys just invited a Maiden of the Kaleidoscope to a GAIA Touhou Guild. Oh yeah, I recognize you from MotK. Anyway, I'm actually a triple-accounter (this being my secondary: The primary is Jan-san and the tertiary is Nuke-Tan). My story's not too spectacular, considering my greatest and most recent accomplishment was defeating Utsuho on Easy, but I'm here to look around.

Hello Gensokyo. I am Keita-Kuhn, and I come from beyond the border... by that, I mean I come from another site.
Honestly, I don't really like Gaia, and came for two reasons... to advertise a site(which has quite a few fans of the series), and to see whether or not this site truly was so filled with Weaboo, it had Touhou discussions everywhere... boy what a surprise it was almost devoid of the sort.
So, remember kids, if you are a bro, use brofist.

Hey Gensokyo, started playing TH because my friend introduced it to me with SWR (was a bit iffy about crazy bullets)... but I soon started playing most of the games available in English. (But I still haven't beaten any of them yet... I'll get around to that sometime) At the moment, I like Imperishable Night the best... (because I've gotten the furthest with it. Then second favourite would have to be SWR.
Also, the music, that's the other major thing that got me into TH, love the music.

I'm incredibly shy and um
shy lol
I first got into touhou when I was searching for stuff on youtube, and found this game with some crazy screen filled with bullets bullets and more bullets
then I showed my friend and we watched it for awhile and found other ones and eventually led to more curiousity
I saw characters before and hadn't realized too hahah
The music is so incredible, and every day I find myself listening to the music, in fact its music makes up most of my music lol
And then I love the gameplay and the characters of course

that story is incredible
I think the next time I go to a con I'll look for touhou stuff more thoroughly (the last time I went to a con I didn't know what touhou was ahah)
though I feel kinda bad about not giving the actual profit to zun, but I think I'll feel much better if I actually spent money in general on them

Yeah, I recently got into Touhou this past month, I haven't had the chance to play the games as of yet, but my friend and I are planning on cosplaying Cirno, Marisa, and Siki.
._.; *feels somewhat embarrased she likes the characters, but hsn't even played a single game*

Hello all! I got into Touhou recently after watching some videos, and well, I started playing the demos and couldn't stop!
Today, after some searching and stuff, I got a hold of the full PCB, but Yuyuko keeps ending my last continue (Damn 10% Reflowering).

I'm one of those people that have been seeing touhou stuff for years now and was never quite sure what it was etc... I even had a small folder of pictures from it even though I didnt know what it was. I just thought the characters were cute. I attended a con recently and went to a touhou panel and was hooked instantly. Im not that good yet, least at the danmaku games, I can make it through normal on usualy 2 continues depending on the game. Imperishable Night so far is my favorite, I like the veriety of the teams. I also love both IaMP and SWR, and those Im pretty good at.
Ill save talking about my favorite characters for the Fav Char thread..

the way i got into toho is rly wierd..
i watched marisa stole the preciouss thing videos alot.. and then i started likeing it.. now im downloading all these projects ><

Same here, same here, although I eventually started moving on to some of the other songs such as Donations Please, Alice -> Dere and Power of Dream. Interestingly enough, it was technically Walfas.org that really got me into the curve - I saw a Walfas music video of the song Donations Please and got kinda curious, so I visited the site and now I'm stuck with this addiction please cure me eirin aaaaaaaugh.
But it's a wonderful addiction so that's alright then I guess.
Also totally unrelated but Cirno's Perfect Math Class is amazing.

I got into Touhou about a year ago... I stumbled across the games while searching for a completely non-related doujin game. Said doujin game was quickly forgotten amidst my newfound Touhou addiction.
And now I'm addicted to pretty much everything Touhou. And have a profound love for Remilia scarlet.
I look forward to conversing with you all. :>
