Kana's eyes focused on the saliva dripping fangs of the jackal that was close enough to do some severe damage. Quickly he slid away from the danger, side stepping the initial attack of the dog he slipped away from the cart but the dog ensued with psychotic ambitions. The strong tapered jaws locked onto the young auburn headed boys arm and punctured his pale skin, causing blood to spurt in the immediate area. The staining liquid dripped down his forearm and spread in droplets across his vest. "Gah!" Kana cried as he violently shook his body, which only caused more pain in the process. The young man felt the disease infested teeth tear down his arm before being ejected by the dog. He stumbled backwards with his left hand holding the deep fissures created by the gnarly teeth. Wincing the Genin pressed deeply on the abrasion, causing blood to seep through his fingers down to the ground. His eyes met with the inflamed eyes of the dog for a moment, the foggy calm returning to him for a second or two. He glanced to Karu to check on her current condition and she seemed to be doing fine just as long as there weren't any more attacks to come her way.

Kana regained his composure after a moment of licking his wounds. He brought both hands together and intertwined his fingers, quickly switching between three seals. The ram, snake and tiger seals were formed while the young man dug deep in his stomach for chakra to expend. Guiding it up from deep in his belly through his veins into his fingers he preformed the Bunshin no Jutsu. Cloud of smoke surrounded him for a moment, hopefully deterring the raging animals attack. Four auburn haired young men stood before the dog as the haze cleared, all identically standing in a fighting stance. Smart a** smirks faded to their faces one at a time before they moved into position around the animal, creating a circular parameter around the beast with Kana guarding the cart. In unison the Genins attacked the jackal, hopefully overwhelming him with the multiple versions of the shinobi. The real Shimagakurian took his time to put a full thrust into his uppercut towards the dogs jaw. Blood dripped to the ground as his attack ensued which was something that Kana wasn't skilled enough to replicate at the moment but hoped that the experienced canine wouldn't realize anything.
Clone Technique [Bunshin no Jutsu]
This technique creates intangible clones of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something. The illusions can usually be seen through by the Byakugan and the Sharingan. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.). You use this technique to confuse your opponent in order to attack them more easily. The seals are ram, snake and tiger.

The crack of her heel against the dog's skull was extremely loud. After the hit though, the dog nearly fell back and growled. Aya wasn't intimidated at all by the growl. These beasts seemed rather clumsy when attacking and were quick with dodging. Aya wasn't too powerful with her attacks, so it would take her time to kill these beasts, but she would be able to slowly. As the dog lept into the air with its claws held out, yearning to tear into Aya, she merely smile and rolled directly underneath the dog. With her poncho on her back, she kept her clothes clean! But with the scratches she had gotten earlier, the blood seeping through her poncho and clothes were already a stain. The dirt from rolling stung the open wounds and made Aya wince. As she momentarily winced, she thought about her most recent through trail. Stains. She was becoming like her mother!

Aya knew that her clone had been defeated and now she would have two jackals coming at her once again. Knowing that she had to preserve her chakra reserves, she would have to attack with her raw skills. Being the medical shinobi meant that she wasn't at liberty to use all that ninjutsu power she had to defeat the enemy. She did have that technique where she could steal the chakra of her enemies, but these ones were fast and there was no way she'd be able to hold onto them without some sort of help. Kana was busy fighting a jackal, Jonu was in the back facing off two Jackals, who were running away and Noburo was nowhere to be seen. Aya slightly bit down on her lip at continued her copeira attacks on the Jackals. With a wide attack span with her copeira technique, she would be able to hit both of them at once. Ducking down into a crouch, Aya left her legs flare out from underneath her and hit the Jackal that would just be landing from his mighty leap. Once her legs did half a rotation out in front of her, she let them come back to the ground where she would flip backwards towards the other Jackal to hit him in the crown of the head much like she had done with her first attack.

The Jackal almost seemed to smile as he tore into the flesh and ripped away with more blood trailing down his mouth mixing with the foamy saliva. The dog turned and stalked towards the boy in a circle as he regained his compsure. As he did, something strange happened to the Jacka's vision. There were several boys out in front of him. The coarse haired animal shook his head vicious as if there was something in his head. His nose told him that there was only one. Before he knew it, they were all coming at him, the Jackal wasn't sure what to do, but the faint smell of blood...

As the Jackal came down to land, it was hit quicker than it anticipated. With its legs swept out from under him, he collapsed to the ground. His hind legs throbbed as he struggled to get up. The black-backed canine was panting heavily and thinking only of what it could to get to that delicious smell coming from the cart or bite into that bloody smell that was coming from the smallest two-legged walker.

Filling up with too much pride, the second Jackal wasn't paying attention that the girl had realized he had bitten through her trick. With a snap to the head, he felt the angry crack of the girl's foot against his head. Biting on his tongue while being hit, blood began to trickle out of the beast's mouth.

Quickly sprinting out of the way of the attacks, the Jackal could smell the blood from the first boy and avoided him quickly. The Jackal was hungry and he wanted more meat than just skin and blood. He went for the woman once again. She was an easy target and more juicier than the first. She was easy to tear into and sweet to bite into that juicy fat. The Jackal ran at the woman wanting to tear into that once more! Perhaps getting a chunk of meat and running away with it. The cart was too hard a target now...

Invoked with rage, the Jackal snapped his head up. This one was obiviously the more aggressive of the two Jackals. He went head first charging at the girl with his teeth wanting to bite and tear and then bite and tear some more. He went for her arms, the easiest spot to grab and pull her down.

From above her perch, Noburo watched in silence as the soundless battle commenced beneath her. The genin looked like they could handle the jackals, at least until one of the innocent humans got her bones crunched on by the prairie dogs. Unfortunately, she had been flown too high and was caught in a wild fight herself, trying to stay adrift in the pummeling winds that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Noburo dipped her wing towards the ground, clacking her beak as she felt herself exit the hurricane and enter dead space. The bird flapped her huge wings frantically and had it not been for a pitifully weak, but steady gust that blew her way, Jonu and the others would have left behind a dead birdy. Noburo closed her eyes as she slid to the ground. Hopping to her feet, she shook off the clinging dirt and squawked weakly. There was no way she could fly in this arid climate and a gyrfalcon was not simply suited for running or hopping long distances. Noburo sucked in a deep gulp of air and mixing the building pressure with as much chakra as she could muster, the bird gave a piercing shriek that would stop every animal in their tracks. The cry was like a scream ripping through the tranquil night, shattering eardrums in its intensity. Noburo had only used this technique once before, but the result had been astounding. Every bird on Shimagakure had dropped to the ground and every animal bolted until they reached the surrounding cliffs and tumbled into the thrashing sea.

Kana and his clones swarmed the dog but it quickly maneuvered to escape the group. Holding the clones with him he noticed the dog heading for Karu, knowing that he would try and injure her again. He reviewed his arsenal of weapons and jutsu that were acceptable for the situation. The young boy thought for a moment of what he would do, and noticed that there was just enough room to safely hit the jackal with a fireball and knock him away from Karu. Quickly he formed a few seals and mustered up as much chakra as possible to his throat. Bringing his pale white fingers to his mouth, the right much more pale than the left because of blood loss, and formed a small opening through his fingers. Quickly he released his chakra and flames shot out from the boy, the two balls flying in the rapid dogs direction. One of the spiraling balls dissipated before impact of the mongrel, failing to serve there purpose and only became a waste of chakra. "Damn. . ." Kana cursed under his breath before bringing his hands from his mouth and gripping his wound. Just before the second attack was completed the jackal was thrown from the helpless woman, the small fireball engulfing his side and would possibly leave a small scorch mark where the intertwined black hair had been burnt off.
Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu [Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu]
This jutsu sends multiple balls of fire at a target from the user's mouth. The fireballs are small, but fast. Its easy for the user to spam at least 5 within two seconds. Their range isn't a very long one though. Since they are small fireballs, the tend to disperse thinly as the fly through the air.
Cp Cost: 15 + 5 per ball
Damage per ball: 3 to 7 + chakra mod
Requirement: 20 ranks of Ninjutsu, Fire Affinity
Avoid: Dodge or Ninjutsu

Aya twisted and then bent over backwards to avoid the attack by the dog. She didn't want to get bit by the foamy mouth mongrel. It seemed crazed with some sort of disease as it went at her with its teeth. Aya hadn't dealt much with wild animals and didn't understand that they barely ate. The need for food would be a great demand here in the dead valley, but the girl just wasn't aware of that. As she twisted and turned to avoid the dog, her blue eyes caught sight of the limping fur ball heading towards Tum. Aya's feet scrambled as fast as they could. She felt sloppy while she kicked up dirt and tried to get a grip in order to rush to the boy. Making it over there quickly, but losing her balance in the process, Aya tripped down to the ground as she grabbed at the animal's hind leg it was gimping with. As she grabbed hold, she pulled it backwards away from the boy. Aya was lucky that these beasts were small, because as he pulled it backwards and away from the boy she was able to swing it slightly into the bushes and off the road away from the cart, giving her a chance to face the other Jackal that still posed a threat.

With a heavy outward breath, Aya panted as she rose to her feet once again. "You're ok," the girl said to Tum, but mostly to herself asserting that the boy hadn't been bitten by the fury beast before she had gotten to him. She didn't have a lot of time to stand and check the boy since there was still on Jackal left to face. Aya knew it would probably be running over to her in no time. It was aggressive and crazed, so she knew it wouldn't hesitate, which meant that neither could she. With a running two step lead, Aya went tumbling forward towards the beast, cartwheeling and then sliding with a flare of both of her legs going out to hit the beast once and then twice. Her second flare was much more stronger than the first since she was able to bring up her momentum. If her second kick hit it would send the dog rearing into the bushes with the other she had just thrown to the side.

[ sweatdrop I forgot we give out 2xp per train now, so Kana and Aya receive +3xp for that cart/mule training. And Kana gets one more attacking roll since that last one technically counted as his blocking/dodging one.]

The foggy calmness fell over the young man once again, his multicolored eyes watching the jackal carefully. Glancing at Karu he jerked his head from the gruesome sight and couldn't believe that he had let the foul beast even touch the pleasantly plump woman. Lined up facing the the black haired dog the four versions of Kana balled their fists and entered the standard Taijutsu attack position. Sweat dripped from his brow just before the Genin kicked off the slightly wet ground with his left foot, swerving in and out of paths that the clones created as they tactically charged the animal as well. The real auburn haired shinobi was is line behind two of the clones which split off to both sides of the dog allowing Kana to hopefully surprise the dog with a bone crushing knee to the head. The three copies circled the dog, the real Kana somewhere mixed in with them. Without notice he spurt from the crowd and gave a large downward kick towards the backbone of his opponent, extending his leg upwards as far as possible and combined gravity with brute force to extend pain into the b*****d. "Get Some!!!" Kana cried as he followed through with the attack, readying himself with hands held before his chest and face in defense against the jaws of furry.
