Following the demoness down the hallway, the cambion warlock replied, "Cosmology is my field of expertise, specifically Baator and the Lower Planes...though that should be no surprise. I can also offer instruction on the Eldritch Arts to those who wish it."
Valagh stroked his goatee for a moment as he considered Aglo's second question before responding, "He was, but he wasn't. It was but a clone that guided me to your office, and it disintegrated when we arrived at your door."

Aglo raised an eyebrow curiously. A clone. She hadn’t thought of that possibility.
“Hmm. So I see…” the headmistress replied blankly and stared into no space for a moment. After a while, she shook her head and decorated her face with that same charming smile from before.
“Alright then. Shall we go in?” she asked Valagh and opened the large wooden doors, stepping into the library.
The room was large, with tall decorated walls and ceiling. Shelves upon shelves filled with books and scrolls of many kinds. Yes, Sorcere’s library was rich in knowledge.
The headmistress of demonic heritage walked further into the room, looking for a more comfortable and isolated spot for her and her guest.
“Cosmology…Interesting study area. Though I’m sure it will come in very handy.” She spoke in a calm tone.

As the doors to the great library opened, Valagh had to take a moment to regain his composure, as he found himself quite awestruck at the sheer volume of knowledge contained within those walls. "Indeed," the warlock managed to reply. "With our chosen occupation, there is always the possibility of finding oneself on another plane of existence...or at least having to deal with the denizens of said plane."

Valthier returned to teh school and walked to his office. when he entered, he sat down for a moment at a random desk and let out a sigh.
"ugh... so much business to catch up on. and still Val'atar hasn't contacted me for that council...well," he said standing up, running his hand aong the desk as he walked towards his own, "better get to work. those students barely got th lesson down, and i'll have to pop-quiz them..." he went about going over the work he needed to grade. that aqua is quite the prdigy... he smiled as he mused. of course fantasies of making her his pet flashed in his mind, whch made him chuckle at himself, but they were just his mental games. he couldn't get his mind off of Duraz and that toymaker who knew Seth... he seemed to have frightened them. i do so hope they will speak with me... it would be such a shame if i have intimidated them by accident.

While walking between the shelves that filled the room and made it look more like a maze of knowledge, the headmistress of Sorcere had found a nice spot next to the fireplace. It was quite isolated and exactly what she was looking for.
The demoness sat down in one of the armchairs that where placed in front of her, folding her legs on one another while lacing her fingers together as she looked at Valagh. Her eyes soundlessly told him to use the seat right next to her.
“Answering to your previous statement, I have nothing else to do but agree, sir Godemtor. There are so many different planes out there, and one can never have too much knowledge on them, because that’s just not possible.” Headmistress N’octa Ferrie smiled and leaned back lightly in her seat, keeping her dark blue eyes on Valagh. Her tail hung over the side, lazily swaying to the beat of her heart as she addressed her guest once more.
“Well this is all nice, but I’d like to ask some questions of you.” Aglo smiled slightly softer than before, tapping her thumbs on one another. “Do you have any past experience with tutoring? Any recommendations? Please, tell me everything.”

"oh look." val said to himself as the image in the scrying ball he was using while grading showed three moving dolls being led by an acolyte come into view outside his Temple office. "i have business." he left hurriedly.

Valagh unfurled his wings and stretched them briefly as he took the offered seat. Crossing his legs, he began lazily stroking his neatly trimmed goatee as he replied, "Unfortunately, I have little knowledge with tutoring, since we warlocks tend to be a solitary lot. Also, my Baatoran heritage makes it a bit hard to put down roots anywhere and take an apprentice. I managed to gain entrance to Candlekeep during my younger days, shortly after the fall of House Godemtor in Ust Natha. I spent six years of continual studying there before traveling to my father's home plane of Cania in the Nine Hells. There, I practiced my eldritch arts under the tutelage of my sire, Mefistophiles, Arch-duke of Cania and Lord of Hellfire. In exchange for the secret of Hellfire, I must train an apprentice and tempt others to sacrifice their souls for its power. If I can educate the next generation, that is a bonus."

((sorry, i always just explain it in the post i am leaving it. but my mansion has a portal in teh front door that leads to a door-shaped portal in each of the four towns of gaia, and each of teh four towns of undergaia, as well as just south of the von-helson manor, and the demiplane city of union. also, i have a keyed portal in my bedroom that leads to my office in the Temple of Bones, but it can only be entered with a brooch in the shape of the caste over the arches of teh wall in the office that that portal is built. it is disguised as part of the wall.))

The headmistress of Sorcere listened carefully to what Valagh was telling her. Her tail lightly swinging over the side of her seat as she leaned more into it and raised one of her arms up, putting finger under her bottom lip as she did quite often in situations as this one. Her eyes seemed to smile a little as she watched how her guest stroked his goatee. The succubus found it fun, watching the traits and habits of other people.
“Quite the history you have there, sir Godemtor. I see you are quite experienced and devoted to what you do. That is, indeed, a plus. Now, you say you don’t have experience in tutoring. Well, first time for everything” she grinned softly, then continued. “But I would love to know how are you planning to start something as this? What are your tactics?”
Aglo lightly rocked the one leg she had folded on the other, keeping her eyes on Valagh.

A small familier crawled towards the headmistress. It held out to her a letter, before turning into a puff of smoke. The message was sealed with the Helviiryn symbol and written in red ink.
Dear Aglo
If you are reading this then I am dead. I leave you with any and all my magical artifacts, which should have appeared in your office by now. I hope that your fair well and look after the students and Sorcere.

"Well," the warlock replied with a playful, almost joking, tone, "I figured I'd just wing it, but I'm open to suggestions." He took a moment to compose himself, and in a more professional manner, he continued, "As for the curriculum, I was planning to begin with a general overview of the layout of the planes and their location in relation to the Prime Material. Then, describe the planes, first the Astral and Elemental Planes, then the Outer and Lower Planes, along with some of their inhabitants. In the case of the Abyss, being infinite and all, I'll have to keep to the more notable layers, such as Pazunia, Thanatos, and the Demonweb Pits...or at least what's left of the sixty-sixth layer since Lolth has moved her realm to a plane all its own."

Aglo nodded once in a while, trying to show that she’s still closely listening to her guest. But as Valagh talked, the headmistress of Sorcere noticed the small familiar crawling towards her. Her dark blue eyes caught the envelope the creature was carrying in its mouth in an instant. When the familiar turned to smoke, the succubus raised her hand with her palm in front of sir Godemtor’s face as a sign asking for a pause. With that done, she took the letter with her other hand, twiddling it in her grip until noticing that it had the Helviirin mark on it.
“This can’t be good….” Aglo thought to herself as she slowly unsealed the letter, reading it silently. Her tail and leg, that were swinging so joyfully just a few moments ago, froze in their place as she did. When done reading, she placed the letter back in the open envelope and hid it under the upper part of her dress.
“Excuse me for interrupting, but it seems that I have some matters that need my attention pronto.” The demoness looked at her guest as she stood up. Brushing off the folds that appeared on her dress while sitting. “It appears that our former headmaster had died due to circumstances that are completely unknown to me. You are allowed to stay within the school limits until my return if you please. Perhaps take a tour, get a better look at the students and working material. You have my permission. I would offer you to come with me, but I’m afraid this is a private matter, as you are still not a part of the school staff. I’m sure you understand.”
Lady N’octa Ferrie curtsied to Valagh with a faint smile on her face and without further adieu rushed off out of the library to her office.
