-His inspection of her was obvious, and her eyes shy'd away lightly in embarrasment. Sure this hunting stuff wasn't her specialty, and she probably didn't take to it as easily as others might have, but it was something she'd need to learn and one day she would be good at it. It was just unfortunate that he'd seen and noticed her lack of skills.
Smiling a little as he made his decision however, she tried to change the mode, offering lightly.- "Okay. I think I'll be a baby zebra when I'm the prey." -As if to show off her point she made a few hopping strides reminescent of those baby equines in the first few hours of their life.
Stopping finally she grinned, before beginning to make her way up the side of the dry pool, following after her friend.-

Grinning at the movements she made, he pictured the graceful strides just like that of a young Zebra, her childish mind warming his soul as he realized he had felt nothing of it when he was younger. Kami was his childhood, for she was the one who taught him how to give up on the paranoia and just enjoy what life had to give.
Stilling at the top of the hill, he turned to make sure he could help her up the rest of the way, the sun warming his pelt as the necklace she had given him shinned in the light.

-Making her way up the edge, she only seemed to have trouble at one point, for a minute moment, but shifting her weight to her more powerful hind legs, she pushed herself upwards, touching the top of the incline with a sense of satisfaction.
Streching her sore muscles lightly, her eyes touched the horizon, watching the rising rocks in the distance silently, as she waited for Ta to move and lead.-

Ta followed her eyes, and frowned again to himself before he suddenly touched his maw to her cheek. Looking up to her eyes for a split second, he pulled away and grinned.
"You're it." He said playfully, trying to get her attention off of her future and onto the present once more. Sure, she may not have been thinking of her job that was waiting to be claimed, but Ta could never be too sure, so instead he just trusted his gut for once and decided to distracted her the way she always helped him cheer up. Through a game of tag.

((Aww :3 Did you wanna meet Muffypie this rp, or once Ta is a big un'?))
-For a brief moment she looked at him funny, ears up in question. However a half giggle escaped her as she realized what he'd done, and she quickly turned her attention to him, offering the tiniest little whisper of a growl before bounding after him.- "Hey I wasn't ready!"

((Lets do a different one when he is older ^^ And he is all floofy smile ))
"Well that I guess that gives me a head start!" He called back to her with laughter lacing his words, leading the way towards the watering hole where they would be able to rest from their games. Keeping his pace at a slow run, he made sure that she could easily tag him so the places could switch, making the game more enjoyable as well. There was no need to be serious, as he had learned when he was youger, becuase all that you needed to feel was happiness in the end.

-Kami followed in pursuit, catching him at once point, swatting gently at him to 'tag' him, before taking off before Ta. Back and forth the two went in switching pursuit and lead over and over again until the reached the warm wateringhole that lay not far from the rocks and the den.
Panting as she neared it Kami offered one last grin in Ta's direction before dipping her head down towards the waters, lapping up the seemingly cool liquid.-

Mirroring her grin, Ta also dipped his head down to softly lap the cool waters, at least the way it felt on his dry tongue. Pulling up as a final drop dripped from his mouth, he turned his soft eyes back to Kami and tossed his hair out of his vision, remembering just how long it seemed to be growing.
"Ready to go back inside?" He asked, of course talking about her den where her father currently was stationed. Of course, today would not be the day of Ta to speak to the king, but he felt it would be soon, and hopfully only good things would come from that conversation.

"Yeah sure. Let's go" -Flicking her ears a little she lifted her head lightly. She could feel the tiredness slipping into her body from all the activity of the day. She bet her daddy would be glad that she'd practiced hunting! Gaining a contented aire about her, she turned and motioned towards the rocks, her mind turning towards the story telling that'd be going on as the evening took over, and how well she thought she'd sleep tonight.-

It had been two months since Ta'Ziyan had last ventured down that path with Kami, though this time he was alone. For the past week he had been out in the wild open, not sleeping in his den as he feared running into Kami after their big...difficulty. He could not consider it a fight, for they never would fight. It was just that she seemed to turn away from him at the worst time possible. At that time, he had been searching for just how he felt about Kami. Knowing his true answer, he seemed to search from it from her, when she ran away crying.
Never had he confronted her of his feelings, but he had acted upon them slightly, and at the end of that day, she had run crying. Apoligizing herself, he knew it wasn't her fault, for Kami never would intentionally hurt him, but he knew that somehow, he had hurt her.
So there he was, sitting at the back of pride rock on one of the many shaded rocks. No other lions seemed out in the area just yet, but he probably couldn't see them. While he had grown since than, he now was large enough to be considered an adult, though a young one at that. His rich mane was full, and his pelt thick as well as fluffy. He had the weight of any adult, the strength in his muscles, yet it was clear he would never be a large as any sort of pride lion. No matter what, others would be able to tell he was a rogue, if not from his strange pelt, but from his size or lack there of. He would always be smaller than the pridelanders around him.
Shifting, he settled his head on his paws, letting out a huff that sent his mane flying from his face.
"Kami..." He whispered, she was always on his mind since that fatefull evening, and he knew he would never forget the moment he saw her shed thoes tears. That picture would haunt his soul, as well as his concious.

Adanna was walking along through the tall stalks of green and gold with purpose. Her den was on the otherside of pride rock, but right now she wanted to be out and about. Today was one of those days where, despite her condition, she was going to do just as she pleased and wasn't going to let it stop her.
Her movements were sharp and distinct, mostly because to walk at the speed she was going she had to put in a great deal of effort. The determined look commonly found on Ada's face was present and accounted for, showing she was pleased to be doing things just the way they were.
Her ears twitched forward slightly as a scent caught her attention. She paused for a moment, taking a few deep breaths as she looked around the area. Not far away she saw a large lion, sitting on one of the shaded rocks. Something in the back of her mind tingled with familiarity and curiousity. So she changed her coarse and headed toward him to see who this male was.

Shifting, Ta'Ziyan rolled to his side and let out another huff, the dark strands of his mane falling across his face and the rock he lied upon. His tail swished in a bored manor before he let out a growl and moved all the way to his back, forepaws in the air while he batted at some flies. The clouds moved lazily across the sky, mimicing his antsy nature just because they were always moving.
It was at that point his ear flickered, and swivled towards the direction of where Adanna was approaching, catching the sounds of the moving grass. Turning his head, he used a paw to push the mane out of his eyes until the copper orbs caught sight of the sandy lioness.
"Who is that?" He mumbled self-conciously, before scampering to sit up on the rock, shaking his mane in an attempt to appear more adult-ish. Whoever it was, was heading his way, and that meant they wanted to either talk, or steal his rock.

"I'd like to ask you the same," Adanna commented as she jumped up onto a rock near his. The action was far from graceful and she barely made the leap without having to pull herself up. She really hated how pregnacy limited her movement.
She settled back on her haunces and grinned, her white tipped tail swishing to the side in a calm fashion, "I'm Adanna...and you are?" And yet that feeling that she knew him from somewhere wouldn't disappear.

Ears perking, his whole form went still as she said that, and he felt a nervous laughter try to bubble up. Pushing it back down, he let his eyes lid again and glanced back down to her. While she jumped to the rock, his copper eyes followed her movements until she finally settled down, and flashed him a warming grin. That grin did wonders on his nerves, though he had to guess whether it was for the best or worst.
"Ta'Ziyan." He seemed to be dizzy almost as she said her name, as if he should remember it from way back in the past. Yet, he had no idea. Maybe, he reasoned, she was during the time where he was a cub and was always faced with nightmares. He could have forgotten her as he pushed to forget that past. It was a good reasoning.
"You a Pridelander?" He asked a moment later, curious.
