Like, a year or two back, I drew an AMAZING female Kurama. ^^; I'm sorry, but it actually wasn't meant to you know BE Kurama, it was gonna be these two character's daughter and I wanted her to have Kurama's hair...and his eyes...and well yeah...that's just sorta kinda how it turned out. ^^;
If it makes you feel better, I can't draw Hiei for crap. XD How DOES he get his hair like that? *o*

I draw Hiei better than Kurama, but I always mess up that white starburst..it ends up way high in his hair...*sigh* I mean to fix it, but I always draw it funny XD

I always mess up the gravity-type texture and height of his hair. It's so strange. It moves normally but it stands straight up....o--o?

um....imagine it like the naturally fall down parts got stuck up by some sort of suction machine,,,,which is a vaccum cleaner... haha Hiei uses a vacuum cleaner to style his hair xDD
and his eyes always look like a hybrid between his and Kurama's so I get mad and chunk it in the trash. Yes his hair- half of it falls down and the other sticks up...
Whyyyzzzzzz can't i get that starburst..whyzzz? gonk

I've always thought Hiei's hair was naturally that way. I usually only have problems with it if I get the proportions of his face wrong. Kurama's hair...I always think of it as a mullet, so I draw it that way. WHICH IS JUST TERRIBLE. XD

Hahahaha! XD Kurama has a mullet! XD Let's get him an electric guitar too while we're at it! Haha! He can start a band! XD
Hiei's proportions are HARD. His hair is usually half the size of his body when I draw it! XD And his eyes are just WEIRD. Well, no that's mean. I LOVE his eyes, but....yeah, I cannot draw the way our favorite animator does. He just, I don't know. The girl's eyes are amazing, he's got eyelashes and everything. And the guy's eyes, are really awesome and each one is unique. But I just can't draw it! XD
Yeah, Hiei's hair is natural. If you look closely (which I wouldn't bag you if you didn't. I'm insane and analyze all sorts of random details when I watch the series), Hiei's hair falls, turns, and waves naturally just as any character, Botan, Kurama, Keiko's...would. His hair isn't styled.
Plus, do you really think Hiei of all people would put THAT much effort into his appearance? The guys gets up every morning, puts on a black cloak, then is good for the day. XD

I think Hiei would be the type of person to sleep shirtless, just saying. He has a tendency to be top-naked awake, so like, why not, you know? As long as he has his katana with him...
