Yes, it is. It's a pretty righteous game. The environments are awesome, if you're into Theology. There's lots of references to several religions throughout the game, and the storyline's pretty cool. The battle system is the kind where you either love it or hate it, but I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I usually love battle systems that are new and different.

The way its designed makes it so that if you don't plan for each area and think all possibilities through when assigning skills to your characters, enemies can pretty force you to skip all of your turns and kill you. It's pretty unforgiving, but the challenge is a fresh feature in an rpg.

Jimmy - OMG YUS @ Terranigma! That game is such a random classic. But I didn't care much for FF2.

For a while, I couldn't figure out how to save on Terranigma, but I finally figured it out.

Watch the video, you guys will know hilarity.

That was a quick reply because I had to leave, here's a more thorough one.

My definition of good graphics is using what's available properly. It's what's enjoyable, it's what works. That means if your technology cannot render proper faces, do not try to use faces. If open environments look terrible, don't do them.
Quake 1 has very good graphics. Nothing looks out of place, it's all clean, recognizable, it works very well. Turn up the resolution on that terrible screenshot and it looks significantly better, to make it prettier. Pretty doesn't mean good.
That is why what you might consider "bad graphics" is still good graphics. Good art, style, and appropriate use of technology. SH1 and RE1 both look great, even if I don't like the camera in RE.

Loving FPS'es "that are amazing" is akin to liking good games in general, regardless of genre. Out of the 100+ FPS games I own, I enjoy all of them, in some way, aside from a few really terrible ones that I bet none of you even heard of. It doesn't matter how many I play, I still enjoy them. Yes, sometimes I may enjoy it less than before because there's almost nothing new, but I still like them. I still collect them and play them. It's interesting too, because I hate grinding. I rarely get all the secrets, I rarely go around trying to collect anything. I played Diablo 2 for many years and never even came close to maxing out a character.
RTS and RPG games rarely work for me like that, they have to be just right for me to play them.

This only means that me and you are two different type of gamers.

I don't have lots of games because I'm picky. I'm only interested in certain game features, gameplay and innovations. Just like you are into graphics and whatever else is the reason you play your games.

Digital Devil Saga is the only one I've played, and I just recently purchased a copy, as I recently only had it through Gamefly.

My friend told me about DDS, and said once he gets it and beats it to a pulp, that I can borrow it.
