Hama: Will you just die!? *Seeing the man still trying to crawl away only enraged Hamartia even more. As the sniper fired, only one shot made it past the shield and imbedded itself right in Hama's left thigh. The sniper wouldn't have anywhere to go now that he was in such a bad shape. Using just one finger, Hama aimed a thin beam of aura at the man's head. Firing one piercing beam at the man's forehead, Hama fired a second at the man's heart. For the moment, Hama seemed too pissed off to notice his injuries*

The sniper's stumbling movements saved his life, as the first beam shot bat his head, skinning it and burning a hole through the edge of his helmet. The other claimed his left lung, driving a sizzling hole through it as the beam narrowly missed his heart. The man was still alive, his breathing hampered considerably as he dropped his pistol and made the pathetic attmpts to move backwards. His left arm was nearly useless from the first aura attack, and so his right fumbled at sliding the rifle off his shoulder. Grasping it in his hand, he raised the weapon and peered at Hama. The weapon itself was light, but the shot from the sniper rifle was quite powerful, especially at this range. The shot had been fired dead at Hama's sternum, but his aim wavered slightly, so chances were if it passed the shield it would hit somewhere in the chest or shoulder region. still, at that range it was liable to make a hefty hole.

Hama: *Once again, the sniper shot would make Hama skid back, but he was much more ready for its effects than he had been the first time. The aura shield had taken most of the force of the bullet, and the rest felt like a hard punch on his chest plate. Hamartia looked rather beaten up, but in truth he hadn't even called out much of his power so that the building would remain standing. having limited the damage to this floor was quite an accomplishment in itself. Oddly, after being hit by the sniper bullet, Hama seemed to calm down* Oh it's been fun, buddy... and you've done more good for me than you probably ever wished, but I'm getting tired of your existence too fast. I'll give you a mercy killing for your efforts.... *swiping his arm horizontally, a gold arc of energy formed parallel to the ground. This energy was homed on the sniper's body, by way of Hamartia's own vision. It was meant to cut the man clean in two*

Just as the arc was coming in on the man, there was a burst of bright white light, and he was gone. Leaving behind nothing, not even his pistol, or the expended casings. All there was left on the floor was the smoldering holes that Hama had made, as well as the large arc-shaped hole in the floor. Whether or not it had managed to hit the man before he vanished as hard to say, but their had been a piercing scream from the man as he vanished.

Hama: *He just snorted at the pathetic sight. Either the man was dead or he had ran* No dignity at all....If he's one of those types that keeps coming back I'll just have to stop caring about collaterals...... *Hamartia stood up straight and limped his way to the door. Pretty much all of the damage caused was in this office and on the elevator door. It would hardly be difficult for any business to fix. Hamartia needed to retreat for the moment and recuperate. He would probably be back by the time Bell was better. All in all, Hama was glad that so little effort had to be used to stop the man, but it'd taken too long for his liking*

Hama: *Hama had, after several days of waiting and healing, gone back into town to pass the time. He hadn't seen Bell outside of her company's facilities, and he didn't want to draw attention by entering and asking her location. For now, he just frequented certain places within the city, specifically in the coffee shop which Bell had met him in*

Hama:....... I understand...... this project is officially dead and I'll move onto the next one. Yes, sir........ *Hama had wasted enough time here, and was now talking to his superior about his status. Bell had yet to show herself to his view again, something which was no surprise. She was scarce enough as it was. An assassination attempt only worsened it* Over and out..... *Hama sighed. His wings spread and he took flight, moving away from the city*.......So she's alive again......... It'll be interesting to meet her if I can........ but first...... *Hama paused and seemed to build anger within himself as he thought*......the natural born contact.........

Well this could be difficult............. *Twi blinked in annoyance at the city before him. It's culture was rather foreign to him*.... Maybe I should've taken Ari up on that invitation to New York. Oh well...... Bell's in there somewhere ~_~...... dammit Griffin...... couldn't you have just wanted to go live out in the country side instead? *Twi made his way into the city, trying to be as casual as possible. He'd gotten free of his captivity, and now he needed to reestablish contact with Bell, having no knowledge of what she'd been doing recently*

*Twilight had now been skittering back and forth across the town for the past several days, trying to at least get some information. Of course, most of it was vague and unhelpful. There might have been some rumors of him, a man asking for information on Twice Royal in town, and truthfully Twi didn't mind. If he couldn't get any closer to Bell or her brother on his own, then he'd be better off attracting the attention to himself. Twi's Shapeshifter was in gauntlet form on his arm, so though he looked a little cold to others, he wasn't visibly armed*

"How boring," Hamartia allowed himself to blurt out, looking at the city from its outskirts. Sure he was supposed to keep an eye on it, but there was nothing unexpected. He'd only caugh a glance of Kaiori leaving now and then, but his orders were to stay out of her way. "Father knows best, I guess," he uttered, "and I know you're there."

The white cloaked figure with the beak shaped mask shrugged, having come up beside Hamartia. "Sigmund's with the company now. He'll probably stay until he's satisfied they can hold their own."

"Hold their own?"

"You're right; he's just staying because he wants to be with them. I doubt he has confidence issues about their plan."

"Likewise. So, do you think we'll be able to put our trust in him?"

"I'm having doubts. He might decide to favor them over us. We'll worry about that later; I think I can handle him anyway. What's the news from your dad?"

"He's not my dad," Hamartia violently retorted, "He's our commander."

Hamartia paused for a moment.

"It looks like our other pal is making his move, though."

"Oh? Against the contact."

"Seems that way. He's convinced he can't wait any longer after his last battle with that guard."

The man in white snorted. Finally, things were starting to happen.

*Griffin sat in his large leather chair, overlooking the town he ruled. His untamable dark hair looks even more unkempt than usual. His over all appearance is disheveled, and worse than that was the state of his desk, only Bell could sort through his mess. Rubbing the stubble of his grin, he grinds his teeth. He was in a pickle, with his mother off someplace and his sister clearly in space he had very little he could do. He knew of Bell's capture as soon as it had happened, and had cursed the gods themselves that he let her out again. Turning his chair around he once again returns to work on his teleportation watch, it was hard enough to teleport into a moving object but one so very far away made it nigh impossible. His company was at work creating a space shuttle of their own but he hoped he could get this device working sooner.* Damn it all.

Some time later, coming from the Silver Moon Plains a black carriage appeared in the city streets of Twice royal. It seemed to be headed to the tallest tower, where the head of the city would surely be. Assuming there was an information center in the city, this is where they went first to find out where the head was. Continuing down the streets for a while longer, the carriage would finally pull to a stop at the bottom of the tallest tower, where Griffin and Bell ruled over the city. Bell however was elsewhere at the moment, so for now she wouldn't be involved in the goings on which would occure shortly. There seemed to be a slight bit of activity inside of the carriage, finally setting loose a man in ducktails with what looked almost like a brown punk/rocker's hair style from the drivers section. The man would shut the door to the carriage and start up the stairs to the building. Once inside he would wander over to the receptionist desk, assuming there was one. Putting on a handsome smile, the man would address whom ever was there, be they man or woman. "Hello there, I was wondering if it would be possible to set up an appointment with your boss, and mine. What do you say, can you help me out?" Hopefully there would be a open time slot available some time soon, then things could get underway. Outside the carriage sat and the horses made light noises and swung their tails to swat bugs. There was little movement from the passanger section.

*The man at the front desk looked very out of place; he looked more like a sniper than a receptionist. Twice Royal was obviously taking precautions after the first kidnapping. The muscular secretary sighs and looks over at a very stylish flat screen computer. Ticking his teeth with his tongue his eyes ramble down the page.* Mr. Night has a fifteen minute slot open soon. I hope that will be enough, since nothing more substantial than that will be available for a long time. *Taking a card key from under the desk he hands it forward.* This will get your boss up 10 floors, 3 floors away from the actual meeting room. On the tenth floor you’ll have to talk to another man like me and go through a couple of detectors. From there you will receive another card key that will let you into Mr. Night’s board room. A meeting should be clearing out of there soon. Agree to these terms and your boss shall be welcomed to Twice Royal Tower.

Looking over the card, the man would think things over for a moment. It didn't seem too much to ask afterall, just simple security precautions. A nod of acknowledgement would come a few moments later, as the man took the key from the receptionist. "Aye, it is agreed too. Well then, he'll be up in a minute or two." With that done, the man in ducktails would turn himself back to the entrance with keycard in hand. It would take a minute to explain to his master before he himself would make an appearance, but so far so good. Returning to the carriage the man got back inside closing the sleek doors behind him. From there the brief conversation would ensue. There would be a bit of motion from the passenger section and then the other side of the drivers section. A large dark muscular man would appear from up front. He was bald, had a trimmed beard and mustache, wore dark shades and had a similar cut outfit to the other man who had entered the building. Walking around to the passanger's side closest to the buildings entrance, the man would wait as the door slowly opend; he had the keycard in hand, given to him by the first man who was back up in front of the carriage. Once the door was open a tall figure appeared from the carriage depths, this man seemed quite classy in apearance; top hat, golden cane, buttoner, cape, and wonderfully rich pattern inside of his cape and on his arm sleeves. There seemed to be another in the carriage, a woman, but she did not move to leave the carriage. It was likely she would remain until her company returned. The door closing behind him, both the tall classy man and the dark muscular man would begin up the stairs to the building. The receptionist would likely note the two new men and the keycard he had given the first, once both were inside, and heading towards the elevator. It appeared as if the dark muscular man, was the tall classy man's bodyguard, which indeed he was.
