Arachne means "spider" in Greek.
In Greek myth Arachne was a mortal woman who defeated Athena in a weaving contest. Ashamed for besting a goddess Arachne hanged herself, but Athena brought her back to life in the form of a spider.
Crystal means simply "crystal" from the English word for the clear, colourless glass, sometimes cut into the shape of a gemstone.
The English word derives ultimately from Greek κρυσταλλος (krystallos) meaning "ice".

In Greek myth Icarus was the son of Daedalus, locked with his father inside the Labyrinth.
