Cameron chuckled a little as well.
"Yeah, Mutt's a cute dog...smart, but lazy." he said.
"Would you mind coming over to my garage?" he asked, then shook his head. "Sorry, that was worded wrong. What I meant was, would you mind helping me to haul this back to my garage?" he asked, motioning to the broken heap that was, up until five minutes ago, his pride and joy.

Abigail smiled. "Sure. No problem.." She told him. She stuck Nana back into the bag then lifted the machine with her mind again. "WE might have to take a break, depending on how far away it is..." She told him, "My powers only go so far sometimes....which way is your garage?" She asked, ready to go. She was always up to help someone.

Cam pointed off a ways to the west.
"Near the edge of town, that way. Took me not long to get here...so I'm guessing about five minutes to get there." he explained.
He stood behind Abigail the whole time.
"So, how did you learn you had this power?" he asked casually.

Abigail began to walk the way he pointed. "Well, I learned I had it at a young age." She told him, "I don't really know how I got it though, it just came to me one day.... strange huh?" She was fixing her hair as she walked, the machine hovering in the air next to her as she walked.

"Is it strange that you can lift a fairly heavy aircraft with nothing but your thoughts?" Cam asked.
"Yep. Very. No offence." he added quickly. "And here I thought making this was a miracle." he said, nodding to his floating aircraft.

Abigail smiled. "I actually think I'd rather be strange then normal anyways..." She told him. "As for it being a miracle? I'm sure most normal people would think that at first." She said, "I guess if you look at it one way...it could be sort of like a miracle....but its also a curse too..."

"How so?" Cam asked casually, reaching down to pick up a piece of wood that had fallen off the aircraft's frame.
"I would be able to get much more done...instead of waiting for my dog to pick up a spanner, I could just reach out and have it fly toward me." he said.

"When people find out, they tend to call you a freak and hate you for some reason. People apparently don't like it when others are different." Abigail said, shrugging. "....and when you try to help those people... if you mess up the tiniest bit, like breaking something, they hate you more." She told him.

A voice echoes through your mind a ghost like voice which whispers, "yes but no one likes change. Change means evolution the 'survival of the fittest' you might say but with every evolution there must be extinction and the extinction will start soon oh so very soon..."
The voice fades out of your minds leaving no trace of who said what.

Abigail cringed at the words and the machine fell to the ground next to her as she stopped walking. She turned to Cameron. "Did you hear that too?" She asked him. Those words that voice had said....they bugged her. Very, very much so.

"Good, I thought I was crazy." Cameron said in a low voice.
He was understandably pale.
Even for someone who saw a girl levitate a heavy bit of machinery with her mind.
"That wasn't you...was it?" he asked, his voice cracking a little. Honestly, he had never been that surprised in a while. "If it was...that was a cruel joke for someone like you."

"Why would I do that? I would never, ever say something like that!" Abigail said, offended by the fact he would accuse her of that, "....Besides, I don't have the power to do that."

Cameron nodded. "You're right, sorry...I didn't know the extent of your mental powers. It sounded like a prank...I hope." he said, still pale.
He reached down and picked up a plank of wood that had impaled itself into the ground near his foot when he fell off.
"We're close." he added. "Think you can get this hulk up again?" he added.

Abigail just nodded, lifting it up again. She then continued to walk in silence, her mind thinking of who would be able to say to get in their heads like that and say such a thing. After a minute she sighed. She couldn't think of anyone, and the voice really didn't have a distinct tone that she could recognize.
