Beethovens mouth would have fell open if he wasn't using it for something els. He wasn't the guy who needed a little air in his upperchambers, but this guy was. The smoke could be seen from every higher floor in the area.
''Are you kidding me?! You guys blew up this place and don't expect it to be seen from miles away!?! They could hear the explosion in the west suburb...... wait a sec, did you said demon and a god? Since when do those two get along? '' Stupid stupid stupid! Me and my big mouth. Beethoven moved a little uneasy, it seemed there was nothing to get from this place. Who where those guys anyway. They didn't look like collectors or thieves. He realized that with his many layers of dirty clothes and half rotten away, over a thousand times repaired backpack, he did look like a thief. Although he didn't consider himself as one.

"An explosion?" Oni said, raising an eyebrow. "Must have been Rikku, blasting a hole into the ground." he said to himself.
"Anyways." he said after a moment, looking up at Beethoven. "To answer your question...I'm clearly not a normal demon, am I?" he asked.
"Otherwise, you'd be dead, Viros here would be dead, and Rikku would be dead." he added.
"No, we worked together...in fact I'm not quite sure why. Ask her yourself. Come on in, I guess. Just don't take anything, or Tomha will have to kill you." he said, walking toward the room.

"I don't kill, I send people to kill, big difference. I have to change though, one of those Flesh creatures they killed got blood on my pants." He said walking away. He locked himself into his room for a few minutes and came back out in a real nazi uniform. In Front of them he removed the swastika banner wrapped on one arm. "This brings me back, I stole this suit back in around 1942. I liked how it looks." He tried to tell them so they don't think he's some neo-nazi.

Beethoven did walk into the room but did not get close enough to look into the huge hole in the ground. Instead he stood with his back to the wall waiting for something to happen. He didn't say anything beside a hissed, almost whispered '' I'm not a thief I'm a collector, dammit.'' But nobody heard it, what was maybe a good thing. He tried not to look to surprised that the woman sitting there had blow that huge hole in the floor. His eyebrow raised when he saw one of the guys coming back with something that looked like a pre-apocalyptic military suit. He ripped the red white arm thingy off and tossed in the floor. Beethoven looked slightly fascinated to the hooked cross standing on it. It looked like a sighn he had seen in some creepy house he had plundered. A guy he was working with that time had said he would never sell the stuff standing in there so he had led it be.
''It looks horrible. What happened in 1942 that you had to steal that thing? '' He asked, assuming that the sign had something to do with the date. Where those guys really demons? They looked pretty human to him. Where they trying to scare him? Still he was surprised that the suit was so good preserved through all the time.
((Orphaned when he was 12, Beethoven never got any history lessens. ))

"Bah, dead is dead, so I've been told." Oni said, stepping into the room.
He sat on a small wooden chair, waiting for Tomha to come back.
He laughed when he saw the Nazi uniform.
"Ja, Herr Tomha, looks great on you." he said in perfect German.
"And to answer your question...good ol' World War II." Oni said to Beethoven. "I killed a few people that looked like you." he added to Tomha. "Then I was shipped to Midway, and you know what happened from there."

"It was bad what they did but their uniform was cool." He chuckled lightly. "But how can you not know this? I kinda knew about it and I was busy with my work, but your a human, you should at least know when a important event like that happened." He scolded like he was a teacher and Beethoven was a child. He was use to teaching people since he himself secretly has an apprentice himself trying to be just like his old master. One of the portraits would show him and his apprentice were they not covered with dust and cobwebs.
((What kills me is one of my friends has a Nazi Youth Uniform and she got away with it in her school cause nobody knew what it was without the symbol XD ))

Rikku looked up at beethoven, sitting on the edge of the hole dangling her feet in like it was water or something. "My name is rikku." She said smiling, she stood up slowly and looked at him. "And you are?" She asked calmly.

Looking dismayed at the look on the newcomers face that showed that he didnt believe Viros's bluff about the pistol, Vir stashed the weapon back in its holster, his knife back in its sheath but not secured so it could be accessed and thrown easily. "If you've only ever taken things from people that are dead and forgotten, then why did you come here, where there are obviously signs of life? We could all have been Demons or wild beasts that set off traps for all you knew... We're not all Daemons and Gods like Oni and Rikku here."

((Well I think you'll have a surviving change with a hitlerjugent (sp?) uniform here but there will most likely someone who would kill ya for having it. There are at least 4 people I know who would recognize the uniform. Not to mention I don't think they are comfortable, I like my jeans way better biggrin Sweden was (almost) neutral so not many people know much about the uniforms. I personally never cared much for that war anyway.))

He looked at Rikku, she was pritty and looked nice. She looked out of place with those guys serounding her.

[That does kill me...I don't know if I'd recognize it right away, but I would likely notice, I dunno...the military look to it? Then I'd sock that person right between the eyes.]

Oni looked at Viros, noticing the loosely held knife. He made a note of that for later.
"A collector?" he said casually. "That description sounds a lot like a thief to me." he added.
"In a condensed version...before the apocalypse, way before the apocalypse, there was an evil German named Adolf Hitler, who invaded a ton of countries, killed 6 million Jewish people as well as many others, and at the same time a Japanese man named Tojo was doing the same thing to the United States." he explained.
"That's World War II in a really basic nutshell." he added.
"And to answer your final question..." he started, looking at Rikku. "She's a God...I never heard of Gods killing their people, or worshippers. As for me...I'm not your ordinary demon. I have no reason to kill you, so I wont." he explained.

((I'd never realize if someone was wearing the youth version if it didn't have the symbol. Who could? It's the only government uniform I ever seen with Shorts. It basically looks like a brown police officer shirt with shorts and long socks. Schrodinger from Hellsing wears the uniform.))

Looking at Tohma with a look that said, 'Who the ******** do you think you are?', Viros stood up and walked over to Beethoven and said, "Even if we dont know each other at the moment, I do want something to eat. And I need to ask you some questions..." "Wanna help a fellow mortal out?"

((If someone would where one without the mark I would mistake it for a polish or Tieck (sp?) scout uniform. (or a country who lies near there) They look really military. Pretty strict guys those polish scouts though. I stole there trumpet when those idiots where blowing it 6 o'clock every damn morning on a jamboree in Tieck. (Yes I've bin by the boy scouts as only girl for 5 years) I would end up asking from which group he comes biggrin ))

And than to the guy who revered to himself as moral. “I can't cook, It will kill you if you try to eat it. So what do you want?”

Turning to Beethoven, Viros continued, "Have you come across any time capsule type containers in your travels? You wont have been able to open them without DNA approval but they had HR; Human Resistance, on the outside. Seen any?"

"Well I can assure I won't kill you and tohma, that is no way to speak to a guest..." She said annoyed. "you have the biggest attitude that I have ever seen, and I will help you cook viros." SHe said happily. "I love to cook and I have lived on my own long enough to know how...oh... and noone is getting thrown in that hole!" She said looking down there. "... I don't know how I managed it but I wound up with the most untrusting group of people on the planet." SHe sighed and smiled. "Viros c'mon lets go get dinner started."
