Bishop looked up to wear Josh was pointing. That was certainly a tall little brother. Although Rook was a little brother too and almost as tall as her. The girl's eyes flicked from Lucien the newcomer back to Josh as her impatience began to take over. " Before you get squished or something can I talk to you alone for a minute?" Best to give him his present before he got distracted talking to someone else and disappeared on her.

Joshua looked confused for a moment, but he quickly recovered. He smiled and nodded, "Sure," He said. "I'll be back," he told Luc. "Then we can play."

Setting the box in his hand down beside him, he waved at Kaimi and said "Hi Kaimi! I'm Neflheim, nice to meet you!", excited at the prospect of making another friend.
Trying not to look uninterested while looking for other people he knew amongst the sea of faces, Neflheim managed to spot none. Turning back to Kaimi, he asked "Do you know anyone called Ginger? I'm supposed to give this to her.", pointing to the box beside him.

Cascati looked down at the muddle of people, both on the other bleacher and at the buffet table and simply milling around on the floor; he certainly saw faces he knew as well, though he had missed the bright silver heads of the twins. He momentarily pulled a face before leaning back into the seat behind him, head hitting flat as he stretched out in the position of the world is too much with me and I may be forced to nap.
"Once I find Miss Taylor," he threatened ineffectively, "I am so ditching this party, cherie." Maybe Carlisle would go too.

"Easy for you to say," sighed Ophelia, who would equally like to run away rather than hang around in uncomfortable clothes with a bunch of people she barely knew. "I can't leave. My dad helped plan this."
Sometimes having a teacher for a father really, really sucked.

"My mum's helping out too," said Casca, also with the bitter knowledge of having a teacher for a parent. "Like they'll notice. They're all in the staffroom eating pizza, taking turns to sleep through chaperoning."

After getting her final gift from Austin, Maddy went back to where she and Kaimi had been sitting, hoping that her friends were still there.
As it turned out, they were. "Kaimi, Nefl! Look at what I got!" She plopped down in her old spot, carefully brandishing the small hermit crab, who was waving his claws around and generally not looking too happy with the transportation.
"Isn't he just the most adorable things ever?!" She was watching the little beast with nothing less than adoration in her eyes.

It was finally time for the twins to enter. Kash was tugging her sister into the gym, her funky red plaid newsboy hat tilted at a jaunty angle, her black shirt flowing at the sleeves, her skirt and stockings that matched her hat. She looked typical Kashmira. Except there was a sprig of mistletoe sticking in the band of her hat.
She was obviously in a good mood. "Let's go eat!"

"Okay!" Rhye replied happily, taking in all the people and letting Kash drag her. Her longer hair was done up in a pony tail, tied with a red ribbon. Her dress was red as well, with black lace, a belt that was loose around her waist, and her stockings were black, with red shoes.
Her 'target' would come later. Right now, it was time for eats!

Well, decided Ophelia, at least they could be bored together. She surveyed the gym.
"I don't see anyone who even looks remotely like a penguin," she said. "Do you see yours?"

Nataya walked into the gym, humming slightly as she carried a small box wrapped in sky-blue paper. She was wearing a deep purple, velvet, peasant-style top and a matching three-tier velvet skirt, looking like she'd stepped right out of a story book. Her hair hung in a loose braid, almost touching the floor as she walked. Her feet were bare, as usual; she dumped the shoes as soon as she was inside. She smiled over to her younger siblings before making her way further into the party. "I hope you're okay in there...." she murmured to the box, careful not to jostle it too much. She'd put a blanket in there for padding, so the present inside should be fine!
The twins walked right beside her, looking absolutely adorable in their matching outfits. Ginger wore a green jumper with a red and green striped sweater under it, her tights matching it. She carried her bag, careful not to drag it along as she looked for someone who looked like an "Elizabeth". Whoever she was, the little girl hoped she'd like the pink, sparkly stuffed bunny rabbit she'd gotten for her. She glanced around, looking for a familiar face.
Zemel looked less than enthused to be here; there were so many people! He was dressed in green over-alls and the same green and red striped sweater as his sister. He held his wrapped present carefully, looking around for his secret-santa recipient. He hadn't been able to find a toy rocket ship for her, so he'd gotten the next best thing. Orli had to be around here somewhere...but she could be anyone of these people! Well, the fact that she was his size narrowed it down, but still! He sighed, trekking out into the gym to find his person.

Kaimi shook her head at Nef. "I don't know a Ginger." She said apologetically. "Maybe you can just sort of... stand up and shout her name or something?" She grinned when Maddy came back, bearing her new crab. "Oh! It's so cute! I should probably go do mine now." Rising, she made her way over to where Antony and Chris were sitting.
"Hiya Chris." Kaimi grinned. "Can I steal you for a sec'?"

Chris looked up, then stood, glancing over at the twins for a brief second before shrugging it off. "Sure," he said. "So you're my secret santa? I kinda wondered."

Elizabeth ignored the others for a minute, feeling a little resentful that not only had her newest friend gotten sidelined, but so had her Secret Santa! What was she supposed to do, huh? Sit and stare?
"My older brother," she said arrogantly, "is six-foot-four and he's bada**." Then she looked down at her box and frowned heartily. Stupid... they should... She didn't know!
Meanwhile, Carlisle hurried back to join Casca and Ophelia, face flushed and arms full but none the worse for wear. "Thanks for watching that," he said happily of the bag he had left behind, setting down his gifts right next to him. "Did anything happen while I was gone?" They actually looked pretty bored.

Lucien nodded to Joshua and watched as he was dragged away, deflating slightly. He glanced over at Elizabeth, shifting uncomfortably at her words. She didn't look pleased at all. Opening his mouth to reassure her or comment on her brother or do something, his eyes flickered over to the door through which the twins had just walked. His heart leapt into his throat happily as he quickly glanced back to Elizabeth.
"That's cool, and a little scary," he commented, looking back over at Zemel. "But I'll be back in a second, 'kay? I have to give presents!" And with that he was running over to Zemel with outstretched hands, his presents conveniently grasped in both.
"Zemel!".
