He stared, feeling even worse. First, he considered lying to her, saying that he was just off calming down, but, he really didn't know, and, so, he had to assume the worse, after all, leaving was what he would do if he'd been told such things. Plus, she wasn't a kit anymore. So, he sighed, "I told him I didn't love him." He muttered, looking away, ashamed, "And he left...he might not come back because of me..."

"You...you don't love daddy anymore?" Sadie tried to shrink away from Syd, her little heart breaking. She wanted her daddy to come home, for thing to return to normal.
