Rojiza nods. Good, so he'd at least gotten that she's the sister, not the mother. Ye gods. As he offers her the strand of beads, she's floored. She blushes a fair rosy pink and takes them with a movement that could only be described as stuttering. She smiles a twitchy smile and drapes the necklace over her head. She definitely wouldn't give this one away! She nods her thanks and turns to go, almost tripping over Zak's dog as she does. She makes a little sound of alarm, then quickly skirts the dog and goes back to the fire.

Rana ducked awkwardly as she was walked over. Jeez speckle guy, get better friends why don't you? she beat a foot against the beads and knocked them off onto the rabbit girl's foot. good enough.
Zak reached down and thoughtfully itched behind the tall ears of his dog. "I don't think we need any beads, but I do think I see a way out" he twirled the strands on his hand and walked into the gloom away from the light of the fire which he no longer found as comforting after the old lady's speech. Zak first sought out Caroline's wagon and draped the pink beads on her door then went back to rusting canvas and put the beads on a hook inside for Ki to find there. with that done he crawled under the wagon to his blanket. "Rana, c'mon Rana! be a good doggie" Rana obediently crawled on her belly under the wagon and lay down with a whuff, Zak snuggled up to her warm fur and there they both fell sound asleep.

Blushing prettily in the firelight Tamlin accepted Baptist's beads. "Now you are mighty eloquent this evening. what could this poor little girl do in the face of such generosity and charm" she adopted a concerned demeanor of theatrical proportions." you must accept my gift in return, simple though it is" and she draped a strand of dark forest green beads around his neck and winked at him, "I knew it, they bring out your eyes"
"Stupid girl, why give them away? they are shiny and yours." Alais was busy adoring her bright and shiny stand of amber colored beads.

Baptiste rolls one of the deep green beads between his fingers. "Thank you, m'lady," he says with another bow. "I'll treasure it always." He takes his seat again between the other musicians. Glancing toward the dark-complexioned man to his right, he offers a strand of his red beads. "Here. Take them, brother. My name is Baptiste." [that was at Veshie, incase anyone could get Veshy and Volty mixed up.]
Solas sits on the fire-warmed ground between his sister's feet, playing happily with his beads. Rojiza had given him a strand of her green beads to play with as well.

Drooping her ears, Anezka watched the necklaces dropped around her neck. The colors were almost a match to her wings. Completely oblivious to her surroundings, she touched them and rolled the beads between her fingers. Not until the dog gave up nuzzling her, did she realize it was there. "Oh...sorry.." She squatted down and rubbed it's head, picking up the neglected beads. Standing up, she followed behind Rojiza, tapping her on the shoulder. Removing a necklace of bright white beads, she smiles and hangs them around Ro's neck, "For you, My dearest friend."
Leshya'e smiled at Valelldia and bowed her head slightly as she was given the necklaces. Turning, she laughed as Caroline dropped a necklace over her head. "Beat me to the punch, Caroline." She smirked, I'll get her back though. Turning again, she scanned the group, wondering who to bless.
Veshengo accepted the beads with his left hand while offering his right to the man. "I'm Veshengo," He replied, "And thank you." He bowed his head slightly, then twisted the beads around his wrist as a bracelet.

[So I can keep track: Caroline: 3 yellow Ro: 1 green, 2 gold, 1 blue (Zak), 1 white (Ani) Solas: 1 gold, 1 green (Ro) Baptiste: 2 red, 1 green (Tamlin)]
Baptiste smiles warmly. "A pleasure." Turning to the violinist on his left, he offers another red strand. "Would you like a strand of these, brother?"
Ro smiles and dips her head in thanks. She pulls off a gold strand and gives them to Ani.

As soon as she stepped away from Rojiza, Leshya'e reached out for her daughter. Anezka smiled and came in for a hug. Taking a purple necklace from her neck, Shy draped it on her neck and kissed her daughter's forehead. "Thanks, Mum...For everything." Anezka hugged Leshya'e again and then walked over to the man she had been standing near earlier. "For you..." She smiled shyly and handed him an orange necklace.
[That would be Mekah, LOL]
Nodding to Baptiste, Veshengo stood up and walked over to Valelldia. He smiled at her and hung a purple necklace around her neck.
V: 2 black, 1 purple, 1 red L: 2 red, 1 purple, 1 yellow A: 1 white, 1 yellow, 1 gold, 1 purple

Tsura looked around slowly at the assembled gypsies. Some she knew most she didn't and yet the dark haired woman took Valelldia's words to heart, whether she would grow to like them all or not during her travels with the caravan they were her family now and she needed to get closer to them. It was time to cast aside any worries she had and be social.
The firelight made the 4 strings of amber beads around her neck glitter. The young woman drew her fingers over them and stood , looking for someone not already distracted to talk to.
Spotting a man closer to the fire Tsura smiled warmly and walked towards him. The young wasn't sure who this man was having not seen him aroudn in the short time she'd been with caravan. He had dark hair, well his bangs were dark anyways the rest of his hair was hidden by a strange looking hood.
A strand of the amber coloured beads in her one hand she extended it to the stranger " Hello, I'm Tsura, and you brother?"
Berit didn't understand the purpose of the shiny non edibles around her neck. They were a soft pink and interesting in their own way but they were not food and the small quail had no real idea why they'd been put on her. Bored of basking in the fire's heat Berit scurried away to investigate the crowd, hoping to find food.
(Tsura: 3 amber, Berit: 1 pink)

"BURD!" exclaims Solas upon seeing the little quail in the firelight. He crawls carefully around the fire to Berit. "Burd!" He reaches out a chubby infant's hand to pet its head gently, like Fuzzy Sister had taught him. Experience had taught him that unhappy birds bite, and bird bites hurt.
Rojiza follows her little brother, mostly to make sure he didn't accidentally put his hand in a pile of hot ash.

Berit looked up with beady eyes at the small yet large one touching her, they offered no food but weren't hurting her either. The young female quail gave a soft coo and ruffled her feather shaking the strand of beads that lay upon her. Maybe this one would take them away.

Solas lies on his tummy, watching the little bird. The beads look ridiculously huge next to the little creature. "Heavies?" he asks, lifting the strand from Berit's feathered body. If it doesn't snatch them back it means it doesn't want the pretty beads, right? Seems logical enough. And besides, the soft pink would look so nice next to his existing golden beads. "Burdie?" he asks, tilting his head at Berit.

Maurice had stood back. There was a funny stiffness and quiet - but he was loosening all the same. The smile to cross his face was wide, if not pleasantly observant of the colors and festivities. It was a new sense of home.
His thoughts had wandered to and fro like the flicker of the flame as his fingers seemed to twiddle with each other. He had contemplated taking a step forward, and, in fact, had before something had caught him completely off guard. His mouth had opened; a slight noise had crossed him, though scarcely loud. Once he had looked up, he had noticed that there was a young woman standing there before him. For a brief moment, he had gaped at the extended hand. The surprise had began to wane sluggishly. Once it had passed, he had inhaled a breath, grinning loosely as he too extended his hand to Tsura. Nothing more than an introduction.
"My name is Maurice."

[[posting for Medea as her D key is broken on her keyboard]]Maeko-Hana Anezka hugged Leshya'e again and then walked over to the man she had been standing near earlier. "For you..." She smiled shyly and handed him an orange necklace.[That would be Mekah, LOL] Mekah turned his attention from food as Val began to speak. He listened and watched carefully. There were bad omens on the air, a darkness following after them, or waiting at their next destination. He did not like that and knew the following week would be devoted to searching for good luck charms to protect their van. As the Caravan was adorned with beads, he continued to watch, hugging Scim to his chest and even smiling a little at the happiness the trinkets brought to everyone. When the rabbit girl handed him a string of her beads he blinked, then smiled politely accepting them and reaching for some of his own. A set of deep pink beads, he handed them to her. "Thank you." He said as warmly as he ever said anything. "My name is Mekah, and this is Scimitar." He gestured to the black puppy in his arms. "Thank you." Scim stretched his nose out towards the young woman hunting for attention.

"Thank you," She replied as she hung the necklace around her neck, "My name is Anezka, and that woman over there is my mother, Leshya'e" She pointed over her shoulder, then reached for the puppy, letting him smell her hand before petting him. "Do you have any family with you? Or are you a lone traveler?"

Tsura slipped the string of beads into Maurice's hand during the handshake " Well met"
Berit stared at the boy who had taken the heavy beads off her, it was hard to portray gratefulness as a quail but the little red bird did her best. the small dark haired human had feathers not that different from hers and Berit approved greatly of this.
