Chaos licked his chops and eyed the persian's food greedily, but he managed to restrain himself. Chaos had done a lot of the stealing back in the old freezing mines. Still, he had to remember whose territory he was in, plus he was no longer hungry. Instead, he sniffed the floor a little. It smelled like people, and Faraon.

Chaos still stood rather stiffly; he wasn't going to lower his guard that easily. He took a half step towards Adriel, brimming with curiosity. The Absol already knew that not all humans were bad, but this one seemed so odd! He casually put up with Faraon, which Chaos already knew was an accomplishment in itself, but he even invited a strange pokemon into his home. Humans were... complicated. But not bad. Not all of them.

Adriel continue eating, thought he pause to look at Chaos. He gave him a goofy smile before taking another bite. He didn't mind the absol's curiosity, he knew he was an oddity even between human boundaries. After all, for one thing, he had white natural colored hair. For another, he was quiet tall. Another quirk of his was that he was consider ALMOST an albino, he had some color, but it was very paled.

His light scent was strange in itself, while smelling like herbs and mint could be checked off to the fact that he worked with herbs all day long. No, the stranger part was that he didn't smell like a human, rather, he scent was very familiar to the one of pokemons, which could had been blame to his close work with them, was it not that he had absolutely no scent of human on him.

Faraon's whiskers tensed as he felt Chaos going closer to the human, but he remind himself that the absol wasn't stupid. At least not stupid enough to attack someone who fed him.

Chaos kept his distance, just to be safe. He sat back on the floor and used his hind leg to scratch an itchy spot on his neck. When he finished he stood up again and sniffed around a little more. He felt a little useless, and glanced back at Faraon with a look that said, "What do I do now?" But of course the blind persian wouldn't be able to see it.

When the absol smelled a part of the ground where Adriel had recently walked on, he got a stronger idea of what the man was like. He smelled like plants and pokemon, so he must be outside quite a lot. But by the look of the man's skin, he looked deprived of sunlight. That was confusing, for Chaos had never seen an albino human before and only knew that the longer in the sun you were, the darker your skin became. Which was silly, because it would be much easier if humans had fur for protection from the sun.

Faraon finish his food and walked over to the absol, sitting down and raising an brow. Kind of surprise that the absol hadn't decided to just leave right after wolfing down his food.

Adriel was almost done with his own food when he realize that both pokemon were directing their attention to him. "Um...hi?" He smiled lightly as he wiped away some sauce from his lips. "Should I let you outside?"

"Please," replied Chaos lowly in Pokemon. He nodded his head briefly at the human. He still didn't know the way home, but being in a stranger's house made him uncomfortable. Chaos stood patiently, waiting for Adriel to let him out. He watched Faraon out of the corner of his eye, wondering if the large cat would be leaving as well or not.

Chaos suddenly realized that he should thank the human for the food. He turned back uncertainly, then swung his head to face Faraon. "I would thank your human for the meal, but I don't know how. I'll thank you instead." Chaos gave a self-conscious smirk and dipped his head slightly.

Faraon tilted his head a bit. "A slightly head bump against his leg normally does it...."

Adriel rose to his feet and began walking to the door, thought he stopped for a moment in the hall as Faraon rubbed his head against his leg, well...rather he butthead his head lightly against his knee and moved on. "Ya welcome.."

The feline grinned and sat down, waiting for the door to be open.

Chaos watched uncertainly. Wasn't the headbutt thing just for cats? Chaos slowly approached Adriel and lowered his head to bump into him, but his red, upturned horn got in the way and gouged the man instead. Chaos hastily retreated, tail between his legs. That was the second time he had accidentally injured the human! Chaos hoped that he hadn't drawn blood; he couldn't tell for sure, though he had poked a hole in Adriel's pants.

Chaos half cringed and hoped that he wouldn't get hit or yelled at. Or laughed at by the cat, which would be even worse...

Faraon turned his head away from the scene, while he hadn't seen it, he had heard it quiet well and was trying his best to not laugh. He did not want to laugh, Chaos was really trying, it wasn't his fault that it backfire like no tomorrow.

The healer flinched a bit as he felt the horn graze him. His eyes fell on the terrified pokemon and he sighed, walking over slowly and kneeling down, he rested his hand carefully on Chaos' head. "Your welcome." He smiled gently. "And if I may give you a pointer, next time, try rubbing the size without a horn against a leg. Use the size of your head." He gave a soft chuckle. "Don't worry.....Faraon has done me worse." He smiled softly and rose to his feet. "Come on, I'll let you outside."

Chaos finally relaxed and wagged his tail. The man wasn't mean at all, and Faraon wasn't so bad. What kind of human could get stabbed in the back and gored in the leg without kicking the pokemon responsible out? This one could, evidently! Perhaps he was just used to being hurt, but Chaos appreciated it a lot.

The absol pointedly ignored the persian so that he wouldn't provoke any laughter; he could hear how close Faraon was to laughing. Chaos was still a little embarrassed, but he felt that he was among friends.

Adriel open the door for them and let them out. "I hope I see you again, friend." He smile, giving a light bow before turning back to the house. He had chores to attend, after all, those little jobs was what were paying his stay in this house.

Faraon walked out into the snow and sniff the air for a moment. "....Chaos...I been thinking about what you said earlier..." He moved about a tree, rubbing his side against it to get rid of an itch. His head turned away towards the road. "...............What happen afterward?"

Chaos followed the persian out. When he heard the question, he tilted his head slightly to one side. "What about?" he asked, putting his guard up. Was the conversation going to return to the subject of Inhinx? He watched Faraon intently.

"Hmmm...." Faraon began to walk down the side walk. "After you have your revenge, what happens then? Why does that rule your life in the first place? Yes, I understand losing your home, but..." He seemed to be searching for the words. "....A home does not make you, you make the memories there, you are the one who makes the territory or the den, or anything you would call home, that, a home."

"....I am not saying that your cause is not right, that you shouldn't go after him, by all means, go ahead. But....you seem obsessed, and no obsession is good."

Chaos gritted his teeth, his good mood quickly fading away. "It's not an obsession..." he said, even though it was. "I just need to do it, for my honor. After I do it, I don't know... I could try to go back to Inhinx, though it is far." Chaos thought about it for a moment. "I can't just let this go. I don't know if it makes sense to you, but it's just something that I have to do."

Chaos began looking around, trying to remember his way home.

The persian shook his head. "Chaos, I am aware of what obsession is, I know it very well..." He turned his head towards house for a moment. "...." Turning back to Chaos, ears forward. "You are obsesses. Inhinx is probably empty of most pokemon by now. As I said, seek revenge, but don't let it consume you, or you will become worse then Isamu."

Chaos growled audibly, hackles rising. "There's nothing worse than that pokemon! How dare you suggest that I'd fall even close to his level?!" Chaos breathed heavily, his anger shielding him from seeing the truth. "It is not an obsession, old man. I doubt you've ever felt anything close to what I have!"

Chaos snorted in contempt and turned his back on the persian. He began to walk away in a random direction.
