Hyacinth lifted his hand, waving before he moved to sit back down with Avis and Ebony, "Its alright, they were a bit angry about... something but it seems that they were able to go their own way without anything getting physical."
He gave a sighing sound of relief and happiness, reaching over to get another cookie and took a bite out of it, "Its good." He said, smiling over the tasty sugar cookie.
Avis blinked a couple times, watching the man as he all but fled from them, Anani must have been pretty hard on him... she looked down at Ebony, "Its good to see that things went well." She said to both her niece and brother.

Ebony nodded and curled up against her Auntie, her head resting on the other's leg and watching Hyacinth. Minor chit-chat continued like that for awhile until finally the party had to break up. The tin of cookies wasn't completely empy (not that she'd expected it to be) but she and the angels had had their fill for the time being. Both Avis and Hyacinth needed to get back inside and Ebony had to go and let her Mommy and Almas know that she was okay, as well as stopping to give out other presents and treats.
So, the small girl bid her friend and her auntie a goodbye, giving each hugs. She also left the already opened tin with them so the two could share the remaining cookies with the other angels and have some later if they so chose.
When all the goodbyes were done, Ebony Morgan walked down the halls towards the room where Almas was usually to be found. She held her bag close to her side and was wary, walking as quickly as she could. The child did her best to remember the route, still not quite adept at it.

Her walk back was for the most part uneventful, a couple of techs here and there. None approached her though they seemed awfully curious about the young spawn that was walking around alone, one of them even taking down a couple notes about the strange girl's appearance.
It would seem they didn't often get to see one of the creations outside of the labs and after their 'births' aside from the few times they came for parent visits and classes.
Aside from that nothing kept her from getting to where Dartsmoore and Almas were currently located, a bit odd as Enki seemed often to be skulking around in the area... one could only imagine what the Pride Demon was up too.

Dartie stretched and stood up from her position leaning against the wall outside of the room Almas was stationed in most of the time. She'd decided against going in since he'd probably fret about Ebby being alone, and that'd be troublesome. However, once Ebby had returned, the two proceeded in, the child in the lead.
"Hallo Almas."

Almas turned, looking over his shoulder and a smile appeared on his face at the appearance of welcome guests. He rose to his feet and walked over toward her, "Hello there Ebony, Dartsmoore, how have the two of you been?" He asked, glad to have someone to talk to other then himself, the vessel, and Enki who had been around a lot lately as though he were serious about wanting to adopt the growing child that Almas would soon be in charge of.
True pride there the fallen had always thought, that he wanted to take on the care for a child that belong genetically at least, to their boss. Then again Enki was a very daring creature...

Dartsmoore gave her usual grunt and went to actually sit down for a bit. A change of position was good for her legs.
"I've been okay. I just got in from seeing some of the angels. I thought Mommy would come in and talk to you for a bit but I forgot how little she talks anyway, and I dunno why she didn't come in." of course, the spawn wouldn't really be able to reason out why her mother would want to keep Almas from going crazy in search of the child. "How have you been?'

Almas gave a little smile as Dartie took the seat that he had just abandon before turning to look over to Ebony, a bit surprised that she had gone to see the angels by herself... he had to take a deep breath to keep his heart from racing from worry at what might have happened if she'd gotten lost... no, no... it was alright, she had made it to there and back safely.
"I have been well, taking care of my normal duties and hanging out in here mostly." He said with a smile.

"That sounds boring. You should come for a walk with me. It will be good for you and you can get some cookies after I open up the second tin. I baked them myself. I'm waiting to open it though, cause you know Enki. He'll want the first one." the said with an assured nod.

Almas gave a little laugh, "Maybe a little boring but better boring then something overly eventful. I prefer the peace." He explained to her but was all for the walk... though he wondered for a split second if Ebony was able to read minds... she seemed to be thinking about the same demon that he was.
"A walk sounds nice though, lets see if we can figure out where our friend is."

"Well, he didn't ambush me on my walk here from the Celestial wing and we didn't see him at all in the gardens - and given this is Enki, he'd pop up whenever he can. So maybe he's in his room?" Ebby offered with a light shrug.
As they started walking, Ebby decided to relay the minor tale of her excursion. "I got to meet Auntie Avis when I went to give Anani her flowers and Hyacinth some cookies. She was nice. Seemed weird about talking to boys but really nice. Anani seemed to like her flower but she got mad about something I said and walked away and ended up getting in an argument with some guy. He was neat looking - didn't look like a tech and he had big pretty hawk wings. They didn't get into a fight or nothin, and Hyacinth got them to calm down for a bit, but it was interesting. He seemed really weird and didn't seem to want to get near Auntie Avis."

"That is strange... I wonder what he's up too..." Almas murmured, "I worry as he has it in his mind that he is going to help raise my child when its born. I can only guess what sort of parent he may be."
He looked over at her, eyes widening at her story, "Sounds like Rachel. I had one run in with him... can't say it went to well." He flushed a little bit, in fact the other man had scared the life out of him... not Rachel's fault and he knew the man wasn't a danger to him but his heart still skipped a beat thinking of the man. It was the sound of his wings that had thrown Almas, confused and scared him... a silly thing to be scared of truthfully but something he would try to get over.

"I'd be surprised if he had time for a child at all. I've heard the novelty wears off after a while." Ebony offered.
"He seemed like a decent guy, just grumpy. He was nice enough to Hyacinth, at least."

Almas gave a nod, "Hes interested for now becuase he is always helping to guard the vessel when I need to work." He was sure that Enki's interest couldn't last... and worried if it did. He didn't think a demon of pride would be the best influence on a child who had half his DNA come from Vampy... He would already have an overabundance of pride in his genetics.
"Maybe... would have been better off in our first meeting if he hadn't scared me so much." He said with a bit of a laugh and a slight flush.

"Oh. Well yes, that might had made things a bit easier between you too. He didn't look all that scary to me, but you've had things happen to you that I haven't." she agreed, leaning over to snuggle Almas about his middle.
When the arrived at Enki's door, the pair found it closed. With a warm smile on her features, the purple spawn reached up a hand and knocked. "Enki? Are you home?"

"I am sure I will cross paths with him again at some point since we work together, maybe things will be better then." So long as Rachel didn't sneak up on him again... not that the winged man meant to the first time around he was sure.
He gave a smile at the hug then was happily walking along with her... wondering at why Enki's door was closed, "Did they finally lock him up?" He murmured, half to himself before reaching out to check the knob. He wondered if the demon had finally annoyed someone to the point that they decided to lock him in like they did all the other demons... knob seemed to be working.
"Coming!" A familiar voice called, there was a rustling sound as though Enki were trying to hide something before he came lumbering over to the door. He opened it up, looking out... then gave a huge grin, "If it isn't my favorite little spawnling! And... Almas."
Almas gave the demon a look.
