On the day that I first learned about Tsubasa, I was looking at the manga section in the local library. I saw the first two volumes of it, saw that it was by CLAMP, freaked out, and checked it out immediatly. I didn't actually read it for a few weeks because I need to be in the mood to read manga and I wasn't for awhile. x_x;
After I read it, I became addicted instantly. I put a hold on volume three, and it only fueled my addiction. I put a hold on volumes four and five and went to the mall to pick up the newly released volume six.
I ended up going back the next day to buy volumes four and five because I couldn't bare to wait for the hold to come through and a few weeks later I bought volumes one through three.
Now, normally the day or the day after they come out, I buy the new volumes. <3
And that's the story of how my addiction started. -bows-

yay, more stories! ahh, to meda-sama...i do the same thing! only, many times before, i was able to gt them before the release dates--they'd be in early, and id be all GIMME! eek , and they'd find it for me. however, these days...they stopped being nice and checking in the back for the new volumes to see if they'd been recieved yet--now, if its not the day of the release date, they're like, "its being released tommorrow, sorry." they even come in late nowadays!! gonk -sakura

@Sakura-san: -glares at the evil employees- Do they not realize the importance of Tsubasa?!
I'd probably bug them everytime, except for the fact that I rarely go to the bookstore and therefore just happen to make it on the right date. Probably a good thing, as I'm lame in the social skills department. x_x;
I HATE it when books come in late. DVDs too. It's so annoying! >_<;

I got introduced to Tsubasa at my school's Anime Club. The president, Kichy-dono, saw me oggling at the first Tsubasa, which I had only really grabbed to look at because I saw Syaoran-kun and Sakura-chan on the front. She said it was a purely awesome series and let me borrow it. (I returned it the next day, having stayed up late reading it). We passed each other a couple letters back and forth about the series, having very very little time to hang out, and I eventually borrowed up to... number 5 I think it was... from Kichy-dono. And now I have bought up to number 8, and I am completly and 100% hooked.
And that's my story XD
