Renekai frowned, but sent Dreydonna out. "Come back, Bell!"
Bell was frustrated that she couldn't stay and finish Quintrell off, but she came back just as she was told.
Dreydonna felt herself grow cold as she failed to dodge the attack

 Now Kayla knew what Rene was doing. Sure, she knew before but this basically confirms it.
Gritting her teeth in frustration at what to do next. Once Donna use Haze, she will be switched out again by Bell or maybe a different pokemon. Well, she will just have to make do with what she has right now.
"Quin! Shadow Ball!"
Once again, Quin opened his mouth and soon formed a rather large purplish-black orb that was soon released at the frozen Gastly. Quote: 150/1050 Hehe, you're not making my plans any easier either. XDD

"Haze," Renekai repeated, feeling a little annoyed. She had plotted out quite a bit of the battle, and this messed things up a little. But no matter; it would work out in the end.
Dreydonna soon disappeared in the cloud of black mist. At least she wasn't frozen any more! The Shadow Ball hurt, though.

"Well if that's how you want to play it..." Kayla muttered under her breath as she watched Donna come out of the frozen state. It was very aggravating to keep having to risk their chances of winning by taking a chance in a gamble that doesn't promise.
"Quin! Use Ice Beam again!"
Quin was still floating in the water when he energized another attack and sent it flying at Donna.

"Dodge it and use Giga Drain!" Renekai commanded.
Dreydonna shot down a green beam of light towards Quintrell. She hoped to regain some hitpoints as well as finish off the vaporeon.

And of course, their luck was not with them as the ice beam missed again. To top it off, Donna had manage to take Quintrell down finally with a hurtful Giga Drain and getting something back for it.
Sighing, Kayla grabbed Quin's pokeball and called him back. "Good job, boy. That was a hard and long battle." Quintrell was absorbed back into this pokeball with a quiet "Poooorrr..."
Looking up at Rene and Donna again, Kayla pondered on what pokemon she should use next. Already it was 2-0, Rene. Things were not looking so good for them, again. Maybe she should avoid these kinds of battles but maybe one day they can get better.
"Snookie, it's your turn!" Kayla threw out a pokeball that burst out in mid-flight.
Snookie appeared as if he was sleeping, curled up into a cute little ball before yawning widely and blinks sleepily. "Mew?"
Snookie looked around in curiosity before he caught sight of Donna. "Ohhhhh...." Giggling, the little blue pokemon mimicked the Gastly's appearance by transforming into another gastly before popping back to his normal self, giggling harder.
Sighing. "Snookie...want to play Kayla Says again?" Kayla knew that the only way to get Snookie to listen to her was by making it into a game.
Snookie eyes brighten at the thought and nodded happily before looking back at the other team.
Me win, me win! Snookie chanted.
Kayla strained a laugh before waiting what Rene was going to do.

Ren's eyes popped. "Holy... cow... a... Mew... Shiny... Mew..." Her mouth fell open and her voice died. That was a legendary pokemon! Battling her! A Mew! A MEW!!
Dreydonna watched with amusement at her new opponent, proud to have won the last battle. But Renekai wasn't telling her to attack... What was going on? "Gastly!" she called.
"A mew... Oh my... gosh... a... shiny..." Renekai continued to stare. She had heard of mews, but never seen one! ".... Mew..."
Dreydonna rolled her eyes. There wasn't enough time to wait for Renekai to recover; she had to attack on her own. Dreydonna's favorite attacks were Ghost types. Without knowing that this was actually super effective against Snookie, she proceeded to attack with a Shadow Ball.

Kayla laughed at Rene's reaction to Snookie. It was all the same. Every time Snooke shows himself. She had a feeling Snookie was starting to expect this expression no matter where he goes and now finds it a bit boring.
Snookie was not really paying any attention to Rene or Donna as the ghost pokemon sent out an attack, which was aimed at Snookie's back. However, before Kayla managed to alert the Mew, Snookie teleported away and reappeared again facing Donna.
"Nyah!" Snookie razzberry at Donna before zig zagging around as she waited for Kayla to say the command of the 'game'.
It looks like Snookie is the key to turn this mess around. "Snookie, Kayla says....Mud-Slap and aim it at Donna!
Snookie giggled again before started to glow a light brown around his body before several globs of mud suddenly appeared out of thin air. Grinning toothly, Snookie pelted them at Donna.

Renekai managed to pull herself together. "Shadow Ball!"
Dreydonna did her best to shake off the mud, then created another Shadow Ball, which she fired at the blue flying cat.
Renekai shook her head. A legendary... What was she going to do?

Another Shadow Ball was aimed at Snookie again but this time, his back was not facing it as he dodged it easily out of the way. For some odd reason, it felt like deja vu as if the same attack had happened before at some point. Hmmm.
While Snookie was daydreaming, Kayla was grinning widely. Alright! The tables are turning, it looks like but they can't keep their hopes up too much. "Nice work, Snookie! Now Kayla says...Mupslap and make it fancy!"
Snookie ears perked up as he ponder on the new command. Eyes brightened an a matter of an instant. The Mew glowed light brown again and more mud appeared out of thin air before attacking at Donna. But this time, it zigged Zagged all over the field, trying to confuse the other pokemon before actually hitting her.

"Um... Shadow Ball!" Renekai shouted again.
Dreydonna shook off the new globule of mud. This wasn't any fun! Quickly, she created a new ball which zoomed off in a straight line towards Snookie. Who needed fancy tricks when you had speed?

It seems that life, as always, is not always kind. Just when things were looking up at Kayla and her team, Donna made a direct hit with her Shadow Ball that sent Snookie flying with the force of impact. Snookie managed to teleport out of the way before he was forced into the roof of the stadium and reappeared on the field again with an unhappy frown.
"Ow! Big Owie! Ow! Ow! Ow!" Snookie complained as he glanced at Kayla and pointed at Donna with chibi eyes. "Meanie."
Smiling weakly, Kayla said. "Well, she is playing the game too but it's called Rene Says. If we win this, I will give take you to the candy store, okay?"
Snookie's eyes widen with glee and totally forgotten about the 'owie' that he received from the gastly before turning around again, waiting for another command.
"Okay. Kayla says...Mup-slap!"
Snookie pouted at the same move. He knows lots of other ones but Kayla says goes. So once again, Snookie released more mud at the gastly while he circled around the field.

Renekai heard the words 'Rene says' float back to her ears. Was this a game? She shook it off, though, and said, "Shadow Ball!" Yeah, it was the same attack again, but Renekai had her reasons.
Dreydonna cackled when she discovered that this was a game for Snookie. She stopped laughing when she got a mouthful of mud, however. Spitting it out, Dreydonna fired another Shadow Ball.

Snookie was well aware of the big 'owie' if the Shadow Ball hit him, so he managed to teleport again out of harms way before giggling and doing another razzberry at the other team.
Kayla shook her head in disbelief. Sooner or later that will anger someone and Snookie will not be prepared for it because to him, live was one big game. In games, there are times where people and pokemon will get hurt but not too badly.
Shaking this thought out of her mind, Kayla focused back onto the battle and shouted the same command to Snookie (Mud-Slap), who obeyed as if his life depended on it for he LIVED for candy.

Dreydonna felt her strength failing, and she dimmed, becoming nearly invisible. The easiest parts to see were the blotches of mud that was drying onto her.
"Hang in there and give one more Shadow Ball!" Renekai said encouragingly.
Dreydonna summoned up her energy before disappearing completely, mud and all. The next instant, a Shadow Ball was flying towards to back of Snookie's head.
