Trades gone so horribly wrong!
"Hey! Mister you traded me a dud pokeball." Shouted a small kid. "You said you'd give me a Cubone."
The kid ran across the carnival grounds from the trading center after a strange looking man. Then again he looked like a clown really. The man stopped and looked back at the kid, with a small grin he stated...
"I said nothing of the sort. You didn't want the haunter and I gladly traded for it. So I didn't do anything wrong."
The kid looking no older then possibly 7 looked all sad at the man. He became all teary eyes and started throwing a fit for everyone to see, the man only looked around, trying to act as if it were not he who started all this.
"Kid you're causing attention, go get yourself some ice cream and leave me be." The man snapped making it all the worse.
From the forming crowd a heavily cloaked trainer stepped out near the kid. The black hood turned to look down at the sniveling kid, then back to the man clutching the pokeball that now most likely held a Gengar.
"I think you have some property that belongs to this kid" The strainer said, their voice as cold as an arctic winter
The trainer looked at the crowd as most of them had backed away from the alarmingly dark Scizor had come to land just aside of his Mistress looking at the man. It even appeared that the Man was scared of the Scizor.
"I ain't got nothing that belongs to the brat. He comes up to me saying that I traded him a dud pokeball, when I don't even know the kid." The man fibbed as all thieves to.
"Funny, that's not what I heard a few moments ago. If you will not return the ball to the kid, then We will just have to make you." The trainer said as she looked at the Scizor who seemed more then ready to fight.
"Now, now, lets not get too hasty." The thief muttered backing away. But fine, you want to play that way, then I will go along with it."
The thief tossed out a pokeball releasing the haunter the kid had traded. Upon being released the Haunter was engulfed in a white light changing shape to a Gengar. The kid stepped back and looked horrified as his pokemon changed before his very eyes into something he seemed to fear the most. The kid darted and hide behind the dark cloaked trainer.
"Th That's not my pokemon." The kid stuttered shaking all over. "That's not my haunter. That's a different pokemon."
"It does seem that your haunter has evolved into a Gengar." The cloaked trainer said looking at the kid.
It didn't seem to matter what had happened to the pokemon, the kid looked terrified of the pokemon none the less. Still she would try and get the pokemon back for the kid, even if it wasn't the same as before he traded it. Looking toward the Scizor he nodded and stepped forward. Even knowing that he was clearly stronger then this pokemon. His dark red shine less exterior and red yellow eyes glared at both the thief and the Gengar that stood before him. Getting into a battle ready position he waited.
"Gengar use your Nightshade!" The thief shouted.
The Gengar looked back at the thief as if he were crazy before using his nightshade of Razor. Which the attack reflected off his exteriors causing very little damage. Razor, who tends to act a lot on his own leapt forward at the Gengar to use his Metal claw attack. The attack being not very effective against the ghost type pokemon, but enough to knock most the fight from it. Bouncing back a pace or two, Razor watched the Gengar for another attack, though it apparently was unable to fight again. Even after that one blow from a Metal claw.
"Get up you worthless thing." The thief shouted at the Gengar that didn't more. "You weren't worth that pokeball I traded. Brat, you can have your pokemon back. It isn't worth my time."
Beings as simple minded as the thief was he walked off throwing the pokeball over his shoulder toward the cloaked trainer and kid. The trainer glared at the man and stepped forward to pick up the pokeball and returned the Gengar into it. Turning forward the kid she held the ball out to him, but the kid backed away in fear, soon running away without a word or sound.
"Guess he didn't want it back?" Shaking her head the trainer pocketed the ball and continued on her way. "It was worth a try, but I guess we'll have to keep the Gengar. Poor kid, cheated out of his pokemon and was too scared to claim it after it had evolved. Shame" The Scizor merely nodded as he fell in step behind his Mistress.
