"A strange union promises to be a most interesting one." Zywynran remarks, having often heard similar comments on his colorful manner of dress. The truth of it was he enjoyed the wild clash of colors. And besides that, they rather clearly marked him as an entertainer. For truly, only the blind, the fools and the merry songsters would dress fit to challenge a rainbow.
Speaking of strange unions... No, that was enough of that. There would be no union, strange or otherwise, with Beauty. The song drew to a close and Zywynran bowed deeply to his dance partner. "You shall have to tell me whom you mean by 'us' sometime. And perhaps I shall tell you why I have never cut my hair. But it grows late and such exchange will have to wait upon the morrow."
In truth, Zywynran was not at all tired. However, the more time he spent in the presence of Beauty, the less he seemed able to concentrate on aught else. It was very unlike him, but perhaps it was only the weariness of the journey that made him so susceptible. A rest would serve him well. The bard took one of beauty's slender hands in his and lightly kissed the knuckles before he straightened. "Rest well, Beauty. If you find a moment free from your admirers in which to do do." He quirked a wryly amused smile toward the rest of the room before reluctantly releasing her hand.
Normally never one to make a quick departure from good company, Zywynran made an exception tonight. He swiftly set about acquiring a room and dragging his heavy chest upstairs with a bit of assistance. Ah, yes. Nothing like detestably physical labor to keep his mind away from carnal thoughts. Once he was alone in his room, he waited for a few moments to pass. Zywynran did hate to be caught half dressed; his backside was covered in old scars that tended to shock people. He stripped off his colorful garments slowly, carefully folding each one before replacing them with an utterly plain nightshirt. He undid his colorful ribbons, brushed his hair painstakingly and twisted into one long braid before finally climbing into bed.

Feeling as if he could hug the dwarf Kale hurriedly put his rosary and beads away and a smile grew onto his scared face. "Well in that case I think I can indulge in gluttony this one time, a order of meat, any kind of vegetables you have, and a serving of warm milk please kind sir." Kale said as a grumble released from his stomach and frowning he pushed the small leather coin purse forward "Quick if you can good sir." Kale then filled with glee at the thought off food in his belly spun in his chair and faced the people seeing a quite tall elf in that of a multicolor robe and some kind of instrument go up the stairs followed by a man carrying a very large trunk. Smiling Kale arose and went to the back of the room towards the sign up sheet towards the back of the room when his arm brushed along a young woman in very revealing clothes, turning to apologize Kale froze as he stared at not the face of the woman but inside of her. "Hm, your aura seems quite dark for one... so young?" Kale said with a smile.

Beauty giggled and half wanted to follow him up to his room, but she resisted. "Until the morrow then, Zywynran," she said with a charming smile. She heard the knight's question and nearly laughed. Turning, she saw that he was much, much taller than she was. She couldn't help but keep the smile on her face when she realized he thought she was young. A wave of seduction left her, surely drawing him in more.
"And what would our paladin know of darkness within, hmm?" she asked coyly. Jumping up to sit on a table to feel more at his level, she gave him a coy expression. Her slitted pupils peirced into him, knowing the knight wanted to ask not who she was, but what she was.

Laughing to himself Kale shook his head trying to rid himself of this draw this woman seemed to have to him and breathed out a sigh. "Alas I know much about the darkness within little..." Kale stopped and leaned in towards the small woman looking over her face and body features, then leaning back out a look of puzzlement on his face. "Hmm a Succubus, and a half ling of some sort, am I correct? Miss?"
Kale replied with the still confused look on his face, then removing his plate glove to show a hand with a tattoo with some sort of runes written in elven and a cross printed on the palm he then removed the other glove showing the same pattern of tattoos, then rubbing his hands together and cupping them around his mouth breathing in a breath of warm air to stimulate his stiff fingers.

Beauty giggled, "Well, that's the closest any one has ever been on the first try. I'm half succubus, but not half-hobbit. I'm half human, I'm just very short, as my mother was." She stood on the table so she could be at eye-level with him. Smiling at him, she set her hands on his, warming them with her body heat. She leaned in to kiss his cheek, "I'm Kchelach, but Beauty will do." Once his hands were warm, she got off of the table.
"Well, it's been a lovely evening, but it's time I tuck in," she said with her charming voice. "I suppose I'll see you on the morrow as well paladin," she cooed as she gathered her things and got a room. Her entire body seemed to sawy to and fro as she walked up the stairs.
She gave a mighty stretch and shifted to her human form, changing herself drastically. Her eyes were a normal shade of green without her slitted pupils. The shade of white turned to a pale blonde, and her sun-kissed skin changed to a pale tan. After taking a bath and changing, she lit a fire and braided her hair. Getting into bed, she giggled a little to herself and fell straight asleep.

Watching the succubus climb the stairs with the seductive walk of her's Kale stood and breathed a heavy sigh, 'I'll let her be I suppose...' Kale thought to himself as he strode over to the sign up table and wrote his name down swiftly and neatly and then walked back to the bar the sound of metal clanking and chain mail rattling. Then sitting down at his seat he dug out his rosary and stared at it with a somewhat memorized look on his face. 'I have bigger fish to fry than a succubus...' Kale thought as he took a peanut from a bowl near by and began to eat two or three at a time waiting for his order to be filled.

McFlaust rushed the plate to the knight, along with his milk, which may or may not be sour, he didn't know. He took the coppers from the bag, and being the honest man that he was returned the bag with the bent silver in it. "Well Sir knight," he said," It would appear that every one else has gone off." He pointed at the almost empty tavern."I'd recommend you get to be soon, most people would have already."

Zywynran woke early the next morning, as he always did. It tended to take quite a bit of time to properly prepare for his day. He cleansed himself and strapped on the blades he always hid on his person. He then dressed in fresh clothing, this time in colors of gold, royal blue and white. His hair he unbraided and began to weave in belled ribbons of the same colors. He briefly considered switching to some of his other fancy ribbons instead as he'd already worn bells the night before, but Beauty had really seemed to like them. Zywynran gave a self deprecating shake of his head, accompanied by the tinkle of the small bells. Of all the ridiculous reasons... Still, it would be time consuming to change his mind again now, wouldn't it? Finally leaving his hair be, Zywynran belted on the large, gaudy dagger he chose not to conceal. And last, but by no means least, he selected instruments to carry down with him. The flute was lovely, but permitted him neither to speak nor sing. Still, he would take it and his lute also. Satisfied with his choices, Zywynran finally exited his room and descended the stairs with a dancer's grace and poise which belied the weight of his possessions.

Beauty woke the next day very early, not needing as much sleep as normal people. She unbraided and brushed her hair, letting it fall in soft waves around her face. Today she wore a deep blue and silver-ish out fit, a miniskirt that was pleaded. A pair of knee high leather boots that was deep blue with silver filigree embeded in them. The last part was her half, long sleeved shirt, in a glittery silver color. She certainly hoped the half-elf would like it. Laughing, she shook her head at her silliness as she shifted to her true form. Not quite as tall as either her human or daemon form, but close enough. What was really different was her duller appearance from the night before. Her eyes weren't as vibrant, but she didn't care.
Beauty went out of her room and skipped to the stairs. Seeing Zywynran, she hurried down the stairs to be with him. "Good morning Zywynran, a merry morn I wish to you," she giggled cheerfully. She looked up at him with her charming smile. The bells caught her eyes, and she couldn't help but touch his hair. "Bells again today, I would have taken you for a daily changer," she giggled.

Zywynran was at first puzzled, but smiled nonetheless when a girl he'd have sworn he never laid eyes upon before approached him and called him by name. He might have been mystified the entire morning if she did not reach up and touch his hair. "You would have taken me correctly, Kchelach." Zywynran replied, trying her name on his tongue for the first time. "But a lovely lady was so pleased with them the night previous I thought I might wear them again. Do you not approve?" He smiled, making light of his admission. While it was not his usual practice, there was no need to let on to Beauty that breaking his routine for a woman was anything special. He'd thought not to tell her at all, but that much dishonesty tended to be more work than it was worth.
"I almost did not recognize you." Zywynran remarks, changing the subject. "Your appearance is much changed from last night." He looked her over more closely, noting details he had missed at first glance. Even her eyes were different. He ought to know; he'd spent more time caught in them than he would like to admit.

Beauty smiled, "Close enough on my name, good try. And I do approve, I like them very much." She purred as she walked besides him, "And I don't look much different, just a little less attractive than last night. Though I apologize for the confusion" she laughed lightly. Once they got down stairs, she asked, "So, if I took you correctly, why did you change your routine, hmm? You like changing colors and methods everyday, so why not today?" She touched another bell attatched to a gold ribbon, and let it go almost as quickly.

"As I said before, you seemed to like the bells and so I wore them again. I would say that is reason enough. Don't you agree?" Zywynarn observed her carefully as they conversed. There was something different about Kchelach that had not a thing to do with her appearance. Or was it him that was different after a night's rest in a warm bed? He did not feel nearly so drawn to her as he had before and he hardly thought himself so shallow that the small changes in her appearance were the sole cause. "The purpose of my life, since I was only a small boy, has been to please others. Pleasing to the eye and to the ear. The bells please you; I will wear them."

"True, but now I haven't a chance yet to like other things," she said with a smile. "So, why is it that you don't cut your hair? Or would you like me to explain why I said us first?" she asked as she sat at a table. She was ravenous in the morning, even more so after a night like her's. Sitting in the chair with her legs under her, she felt a little taller, and she barely reached the table enough to have a meal. She charmed a waiter into bringing her a full stack of hotcakes, a bowl of porridge, bacon and warm milk. Beauty turned her attention back to Zywynran while she waited for her food, motioning for him to sit down. Playing with her wavy mane, she studied his body, noting little things about it.

"Ladies first, as I was always taught." Zywynran watched as a waiter approached and paid him not a moment's attention but rather focused entirely on Kchelach's order. How very interesting... she hardly seemed to be trying to win the interest of these men. Zywinran removed the lute from his back and seated himself at the table. He idly plucked at the strings, warming up his fingers.
