already signed up, but I have a question: when are we going to find out who we're being secret santas for? And do we give them little gifts all along and then a big one when we reveal ourselves? In that case, when does it end? Have I asked enough questions?

Just one gift. I don't think everyone can afford to make a lot of tiny gifts then a big one. I was thinking the gift exchange would be a few days before Christmas. That way no one has to worry on the holidays about something online, and they can be home with their families.

Giving gifts on Gaia is basically made directly for Secret Santa-ing . . .

Not to sound wierd or anything, but how do we make sure every one on the list gets a gift? I mean, I trust that everyone would give gifts but how do we make it fair?

If someone dosn't get a gift, let us know, and we can check the master list to see who was their secret santa, and make sure they get a gift to them.

What if we PMed you saying who we want and you can have two separate lists, one with who's available and one with who's already taken.

Because thats not the first question you asked.... We're using a random generator. Sorry, I'm too lazy to go through that many lists and organize that many things for the sake of you getting a gift to a particular someone. You can always give them a Christmas gift anyway, it dosn't have to be secret Santa!

I was just looking here, I don't have enough gold to secret santa, or else I would sign up...
But couldn't people just void the 'list' thing all together and send to anyone they wanted on the list? I mean, there is nothing to keep someone from giving more than one gift...
But i do understand the concept of the list, so at least everryone gets something for participating...

But i do understand the concept of the list, so at least everryone gets something for participating...You can send gifts to anyone, that's gift exchanging in general Secret Santa is separate, and the point is everyone gets a gift from a secret gift giver. Its the fun of picking it out for someone you might not have before and them not suspecting it ^^
