"Someone only lays back for two reasons in the Black Company, and as much as I'd love to get at that again, I figure we should keep in shape and do some stretching or something. The Arena should be the perfect place to check out, should be simple enough. Any packed dirt with a ring should manage." KB would smile and follow Sai, allowing her to lead the way as she likely would. It'd afford KB a great view, and allow him to avoid wasting time searching.

She merely rolled her eyes and stuck out her tongue at him as she turned and headed down to the main hall. She glanced around at her dead minions making sure they were doing their jobs. Her last place was so run down that she refuses to let her new home look like that again. She would yawn slightly as she would catch a sleeping minion in the corner, rather then cleaning or something. With a lazy twist of her hand, Her arm where the gauntlet would be hummed as a whirl of mist shot out from the ground under the ghoul and shattered its bones, before dragging it through the ground. She would continue walking down the hall until she came to the back doorway. She stretched slightly as she grabbed a coat from the little closet and handed it to KB. " its cold outside..today.."

KB followed Sai, ignoring the ghoul and stuff. With that sort of power over her creations, it wouldn't surprise the zombie-man if he was similarly corruptible. Being dragged underground didn't appeal to KB very much. So, when it came time to take a coat from Sai, he'd shuck off the one he was wearing. Or whatever. Sai seemed to have hundreds of coats laying around, and he kept getting them layered on.

KB slipped into the coat and followed Sai outside. "'kay."

She only glanced at Kb as she noticed the layers of coats he was wearing and chuckled softly as she only grabbed a small one for her, as she opened the back door. the sudden cold breeze of outside swept in with snowflakes that whirled at their feet. She headed out unaffected by the wind and cold and made her way through the feet of snow to the arena. Once outside and on trail the ground would rumble softly as the trail they were on suddenly lifted softly up through the snow and over like a bridge of bones to make it easy for them to travel the yard. " I was thinking KB...I'm no good at building arenas, so i was wondering if you wanted to take over the production of my arena and build it good enough to hold fighting competitions...It might be a nice gathering for the show offs here at the BC..."

The past few months the arena was not to be used as She trained and only certain personnel was allowed in. She isolated herself from the temple to work on her powers, and detached herself from anyone who was of service to her. She at this point didnt have a count nor idea who still lurked in her home.

The echoing of her breath was troubling her concentration. Her heartbeat creating pulses through her body. Calmly she moved her right foot slightly behind the left, as she twisted her body, in a comfortable striking mode. her blue eyes stared directly at the army of a dozen drones in front of her. A small droplet of blood traveled down her left eye, as she paid no mind to it. She curled her claw like fingers into a fist as she pulled her gauntlet arm in front of her, defensively. The intensive training she has placed herself in for the last few months has paid off as she mastered new attacks with her powers.

With a simple nod, the drones dashed towards her without remorse. gripping the sword in her right hand, she ducked slightly and dashed into the crowd of drones. twisting around attacks, She swung her sword beside her blocking a left strike with a loud Clank. Then turning her body as her left metal fist came fired up, she kicked off the ground, smashing the fist down into the drone's head, causing it explode. The impact threw her up into the air. curling up to gain speed. On the way down she held her metal wrist as she mumbled a Romanian sentence, and her gauntlet flashed as orbs formed and whirled around her in a blue color. " TIME STOP!" was all she said as the energy around her seemed to freeze, as the blue orbs faded into her body increasing her speed, 300% faster then normal. In a blur She dashed among the drones, tearing them apart like rag dolls for 5 seconds.

The blues orbs vanished as a cloud of dust lifted into the air from the explosions of the destroyed drones. She slid to a stop, nearly tripping on her footing from the sudden drop of speed. She turned her body to face the exploding drones just as she lifted her right hand to wipe the blood from her face and bring it to her lips. " I need to work on that..."

Walking about with no direction in mind, Sai stops at a window and merely glances out as the weather is starting to warm up, and the snow is thinning. Maybe it is time to pay him a visit.

The man mumbled at himself as he hasnt slept in days working for sai, but he cant really complain as sai only asked of him to do a simple task. ******** task that took him all winter to do alone as She didnt give him any workers.

Though with time the workers came as she promised and the work became easier. the last of the Skellies had been finished off and replaced by humans, all on their own, no clones, maybe some, but all were hired at their own will to work at the temple which provided everything they will ever need.

The temple had extended into the valley with more training areas, gardens, the lakes are thawed out again and live with fish. the livestock of deer and bears roam the forest around the valley.

the man stopped at the window and glanced out to see the spring sun out in the valley. " I hate spring..."

A small dirt trail from her boots lead through the main building to the grand bedroom of sai's. She dropped off her boots at the door and kicked the doors closed gently. Though her vast temple may look dementing from the outside, it was built to withstand the harsh winter climate so high up in the mountains. Ever since she the dojo, Focht wouldn't leave her mind, her yearning to see him, to experience what was writing in her journals of their last time together at Kb's Ship.

Walking over to the far side she placed both hands on the vast wooden doors and pushed them open to her bathroom. Every girl's wish vanity on the right with full length mirrors, and double sinks, Marble tops that match the floors. towards the center back was the tub. it wasn't really a tub but a Indoor hot spring large enough to comfortably hold 10 people within if desired. it was built of stone on the outside and soft clay within, which helped with the spring to keep warm. Some plants were growing its vines along the edges giving the tub a calm natural look.

Walking several yards to reach the tub, she bent over the 2 steps to get in to feel the warmth of the water. it was just right. She stood and walked over by the lounge chair to the left by the stand up shower and undressed herself dropping the clothes with dirt on the ground and walked over to the tub. She crawled into the warm water and moved over to a soft spot to lean against with her head on the edge. With a sigh her gauntlet slowly faded as artificial skin grew over it giving her a hand, as it traced the scar on her right shoulder. She still doesn't remember where it came from, but it bothered her a bit.

With a sigh and closing of her eyes she let the soothing noise of the spring tub relax her.

Krono landed at the foot of the mountain pass. He had spotted a cave at the base of the mountain from above and decided to check it out. He landed in a crouched position, and stood as the black wings began to retract once again. There was an odd blue light coming from the cave and he didn't quite know what to make of it. He proced forward with caution, not knowing what to expect from the unknown cave.

He pressed forward into the cave to find that the blue light was being cast by torches that were on the walls of the cave. He relaxed a little at this, he had never seen such a thing before in all his travels, in all the years of his existence...and so it was quite fascinating. He shook his head slightly as if to refocus and pressed forward, deeper into the cave.

Eventually the cave gave way to an open area and he could see to frost drakes completley cased in ice. This was quite an unusual sight to say the least, but the most interesting part was the portal that resided in the middle of them. He walked up to the portal to examine it. Given his knowledge of portals he was able to determine that the portal was not manevolant in design. It seemed to just transport to another area. He shrugged and thought 'nothing ventured, nothing gained.' and stepped through the light.

He emerged in the middle of an ice storm, and immediately off in the distance he could see a temple. He assumed that this waqs the icepeak temple that Sairys had mentioned. The cold wasn't exactly bothering him, he was quite used to frigid temperatures, but he had no intention of just standing out in the cold.

As he drew closer to the temple, he could see various reanimated skeletons going about their work, not paying him any mind. He was still at unease however, and was ready to counter should the need arise. His senses were all out of whack here and he couldn't sense anyone. It was probably due to the overabundance of the undead minions everywhere. Ignoring the cold, he pressed further on.

The frigid cold would start to warm up as he neared as spring was in the air and the lush green grass and trees that thawed out through out the winter. very few skellies remained outside as they were slowing being brought to life, still undead by nature.

A young man would come to greet krono. Ruffled brown hair, dark lifeless brown eyes, dressed in a casual buttoned shirt and slacks. " hello, must be new to the temple...Need help finding someone?"

Krono was admiring the architecture of the place, and the beauty of his surroundings, so he was completely unaware of the strange man. When he spoke, Krono gave a little start and turned his head to look at the odd man. This place was throwing his senses off a lot more then he had originally thought.

The man that stood before him was dressed up quite nice, but there was something....wrong about him. He didn't know what it was. Perhaps it was the fact that he saw no spark behind the mans eyes, perhaps it was just his paranoia kicking in. Whatever it was, he didn't give it much thought.
"You are quite right, I am new here. I had simply seen an invitation extended to everyone at the Dojo by a Sairys. I figured I'd come check it out since I need to get a feel for the lay of the land."

Krono tilited his head to the side slightly. He had placed what he thought was wrong. It was the way the man spoke. Almost robotic, it certainly matched the lifeless look in his eyes. It was a little unnerving.
PostPosted: Sat Apr 18, 2009 9:47 am

The man only smiled at him and gave him a simple nod. Sai and her workers still had some things to twink with their clones, but to make it simpler they just hired real humans to work for them. The amounts of people and clones was massive enough to keep this place running, but to tell the difference would be to see if they bled red.

The man turned and started to lead Krono to the main building of the temple, where he would surely find sairys. As they neared the building towards the top of the peaks, what used to be frost wyrms, now are fully scaled dragons, sitting, almost lifeless stone figures just watching them.

" If you need anything Sir be sure to ask anyone of us...Sairys built this place as a home for those with no home, or a place to hide away without the fear of being found or killed...Though I must say its a strict rule that No fighting is allowed on grounds unless at the arena towards the south of the building...."

Krono was actually genuinely surprised when he saw the man before him smile. Upon a first impression, he had determined that such a thing was not possible....But there it was, defying his expectations. Apparently there was more to this guy then hea dhad originally given credit, some semblence of life lying buried there.

He smirked as the man turned and led him deeper within the structure. While they walked in silence, Krono looked over the facets of the structure he could see. It must've taken an extremely long time to construct this place, it was absolutely huge. The detail on everything was unbelievable, he was quite impressed with the buildings. The dragons were large and to most people they would be intimidating, but to him they were just fantastic decoration. There wasn't much in this world that managed to strike fear into his heart or intimidate him.

His attention was torn away from the architecture as the man began to speak. A place to hide without fear of being killed? A place for people with no home? Well he certainly did not have a home...hadn't had one for a very long time. The comment on a place to hide without worry of being killed. He wondered. He thought if the armies of heaven or hell that were after him would be able to discover this place. Likely they could, and he wondered if he would still be welcomed if that knowledge was public. At any rate, he had no intention of running or hiding, in fact he planned on bringing the fight to the doorsteps....the notion was just amusing to him.

"You have nothing to worry about. I'm not one to cause trouble, usually the one who just gets pulled in some way. If I feel the need to spar I will be sure to use the provided facilities. You'll also find that I'm a self reliant individual that won't offer much, if any trouble."

Walking down the main stair way Sairys over heard talking from one of her overseers and that voice from the dojo. She smiled as She placed her Gauntlet left hand on the railing of the 2nd floor balcony overlooking the main entrance.

"trouble always find a way to interfere in the lives of those who wish peace...Welcome to my home krono i believe your name was..."

She walked barefoot down the stairs, as she had just finished her bath and felt the need of shoes wasn't necessary at the moment. Her soft long blonde hair swayed behind her. She wore a loose open back, over the shoulder summer dress that danced at her ankles. her bright blue eyes seemed to glow with the blue color of her dress. The scar of her past battle on her shoulder showed.

Once at the bottom she smiled her hello and glanced at his escort. " thank you for bringing him safely through the grounds, you may go about her duties...."

She glanced back at krono and reached her hand out for a hello. " its good to see some company this place has been empty for too long..."

'Trouble always finds a way to interfere in the lives of those who wish peace...Welcome to my home Krono I believe your name was...' As Krono heard this, he turned his attention to where the voice had come from. He watched as Sairys made her way down the stairs, noting that she wasn't wearing any shoes and had made a change in her attire. He thought it was odd that she wasn't wearing any shoes but noticed that her hair was still a little wet and presumed that she had probably washed up not to long ago, which made sense.

For those who wished peace? He supposed that he was an advocate of peace in most cases. Of course his assault on heaven would not be a mission of peace...but that was an exception. That was something personal he had decided upon, it was revenge. Otherwise he fought for what he believed in, and to protect those he cared about....which probably made him a person who fought for peace.

He smiled politely, staring her in the eye as he grabbed her hand in a friendly handshake before he bowed gracefully before releasing her hand.
"Peace....I usually do fight for that I suppose. You got my name right, and if I do recall, you are Sairys, yes?" His smile broadened as he said that. "Believe me when I say that it is my pleasure, you have quite the place going on here. I feel priveledged to be given such a warm welcome even though you just met me not to long ago."
