You know you want me......
It's just too bad I'm beyond your reach

"Of course you did," Star muttered. "Mr Vampire Leader always has things to do." Her facial expression contradicted her earlier statement of Adam making time for her. As his cold hand rested on her shoulder, Star sighed a sigh that could last the whole entire day. "Yes, Star, it could be very bad." Not wanting to provoke any more ominous comments, she turned her head away from Adam so he wouldnt see her face. As her brother moved past her and Kiyarah, he observed her room and she closed the door.

As Adam asked about her appearance in the Dining Hall, Star's cheerful spirit returned at the recollection of rebelliousness she had. Rolling her eyes at his convincing voice -something she has managed to ignore after years of falling for it- the vampire grinned. "What? Adam doesnt want his sister around poor little Day Class students?" she teased. "I was there because Mr. Hot-shot over here was 'attending to his duties' when I needed him." Star stressed the sarcasm on the last few words, making it clear that she was sulking. Even though she knew her brother was simply concerned, Star dislikes the way he was treating her like a baby. Sure, her control wasnt as great as his, but it wasnt like she was going to pounce on someone out of the blue. "Besides. I went to find Kiyarah, and she wouldve stopped me before I hurt someone. And you know I dont care about consequences. I do what I need to."

Star sat down on her drafty old bed and crossed her arms in front of her chest like a child throwing a tantrum. Thinking about the first few day of Oak Point, Star remembered attacking someone, and getting saved by Kiyarah. Only to get caught by Hugo, feeling guilty, then to get released from punishment by considerate thought from Hugo, Kiyarah and her brother. Unfortunately, Mason hadn't been pleased with her, and Star hadn't entered the Dining Hall during the day until 2 years later. After getting the hang of being a vampire, Star regained confidence and her arrogence, rebelliouness and 'bad habitds' formed. Some would say it was great for her to finally get used to being what she was, and others just looked away in disgust. But then again, at that point Star stopped caring.

Kiyarah hadn't really done much as Adam nearly interrogated Star, and the air tensed. Holy crap, if another vampire enters this room, we're probably all going to die.

..today Farah is..{pissed off}. surprise!

User Image

Farah didn't bother to try to sleep off her night patrol. She spent all of her time exhausted, attempting to set the perfect example. She laid on her still-made bed staring at her cieling, her hazy mind creating shapes in the grain. It took a lot to keep her awake, she wondered how much coffee she could take from the cafeteria without anyone asking questions. Farah's stomach growled loudly. With a heavy sigh she lifted her head and finally got up to greet the already familiar day.

Farah's routine was very finite. Shower immediately after patrol, rest for two hours, brush hair, brush teeth, get dressed after a complete inspection of her uniform. She'd never understand how Pearll would manage to get through a day without any actual plan. After getting through the morning routine she would meet with
your.name.here and Pearll if she managed to leave her room on time.

I wonder if I just drowned myself in coffee, would this day start off well? The night's patrol had been a long one. Nothing of particular interest happened, but she'd found a route close enough to the Twilight side of campus to be able to keep a better eye on the activities there. Farah hated the fact that she couldn't patrol the campus, Chancelor, how do you expect us to keep Oak Point safe if we can't actually patrol inside Oak Point? But the Chancelor had insisted that there was no threat from anyone who was actually supposed to be on campus, that we were here to protect the school from strangers, and to assist in keeping those who were supposed to be on campus where they belonged.

Farah was always the first person down stairs in the Moon dorm. She tugged at her skirt hem, attempting to ensure it was still perfectly even. It was time to leave for breakfast and your.name.here and Pearll were nowhere to be found. She left with an irritated strut towards the dining hall. Farah stood by the coffee machine giving herself constant refills until her mental haze had cleared. She didn't bother to find a seat in the crowded, noisy room. Pearll had found a seat with a pretty, blonde human and they were chatting away. No one had even noticed her once she found a darker corner and stuck to it.

After munching idly on a few pieces of fruit and a granola bar, Farah was ready to move on with her day. Ten minutes left of breakfast meant it was time to go, until a sickening sweet smell blew into her face. She gagged and then her head turned with a snap towards the Prefect's table. A low growl escaped her throat. The blood pounded in her ears.

Kiyarah was standing there looking to be in a mixture of amusement and panic. Farah's eyes narrowed and she immediately turned to leave the room. She couldn't stay or she would have absolutely killed the vampire for being anywhere near the humans.

With every ounce of self control she could muster, she kept walking away from the dining hall and instead she started a trek towards Twilight dorm. The little leech's older brother was about to get an ear full.

Kiyarah Antoinette Briarwood is feeling just a little : { discontent }

User Image
Keep it professional. was the first thing that came into Kiyarah's head as Adam stepped into the room. She noticed him keeping his distance from her, which sort of made herwonder if maybe he knew about her feelings for him. Clearing her throat, Kiyarah stepped back, keeping her distance as well. Her cheeks still burned red, so she kept her eyes to the ground so as to not look at Adam in the eyes. Damnit! Keep it professional. she reminded herself, letting go of the door as Star closed it for her. The two siblings started to speak to each other, one messing with the other. Well, it was mostly Star teasing Adam but either way, it showed that they had a close relationship still. When Star elbowed Adam in the gut, she smiled at the eye roll Adam did. It was as if he had seen this coming. Kiyarah felt jealous. She wished that she had this kind of close relationship with Hugo. He was after all, her "older brother." With a shrug, Kiyarah walked over to the door and placed her hand on the knob.

Adam's explanation about a human girl found near the dorms with a vampire rang in her ear as familiar. She could have sworn she had dealt with something like this before. Of course, it was that sophomore she had caught two weeks ago with the vampire Marcus. Shaking her head, Kiyarah turned towards the door but never got a chance to open it. Star had acknowledged her before she could open the door, handing back her packet of tablets. The hybrid shook her head, walking back over to Star to hand them to her yet again. "Keep them. I don't really use them that often because I'm not that hungry for blood as other vampires," she explained then looked to Adam. "Thank you for the heads up about Marcus and that human girl. I'll make sure to tell the Chairman about it as soon as possible. In fact, I'll go tell him now. I'm going to see him right now about skipping classes today," the prefect told him in a surprisingly professional voice. The female hybrid fought a smile from creeping onto her face. While around Adam, she had to remain in her professional behavior. If she didn't, he would obviously know about her feelings towards him. With a quick hand to his forearm, Kiyarah turned towards the door.

Just as she was at the door, Kiyarah heard Star talk about her. This caused her to blush again. "My top priority at that moment was to get you out of there before anyone could really speak to you. It was a success...sort of. Anyway, just make sure not to do it again. Or I will report you to the Chairman," she said from the door then finally walked out. A breath of relief escaped her lips. It was as if she was suffocating in that room. All her mixed feelings of duty and affection had built up in her chest, almost causing her to lose concentration on breathing. Running a hand through her long curly hair, the prefect walked through the halls of the Twilight Dorm and then ran down the steps. She caught a whiff of a familiar scent. Stopping at the last step, Kiyarah turned to her right and saw Marcus, his arms crossed loosely and his blood red eyes looking at her. But Kiyarah wasn't afraid of him. "Marcus. You are to go to the Chairman's office later tonight so that you can receive your punishment for sneaking around with a human during the day. You know the rules," she ordered then walked towards the exit. "Whatever you say, Miss Prefect," the smug vampire whispered as Kiyarah opened the door. She turned back to see the vampire smirking as well as blowing a kiss to her. She glared at him before slamming the door shut behind her. Jerk.

Minutes later, Kiyarah stood in front of her father's office. After a deep breath, she knocked on the door which was responded immediately with a muffled "come in." She entered the large office, her blue eyes automatically staring at the well painted ceiling. The art was Victorian Era, which made her very fascinated instantly. When finally she was standing in front of the desk of her father's, Kiyarah turned to look at the man with a warm smile. "Kiyah, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in class?" the Chairman asked, even though his eyes showed that he was amused. "I have a perfectly good explanation as to why I'm not in class right now," she said, then after she received a nod to continue, she explained about Star and what Adam had told her about Marcus and the human girl. a few minutes later, Kiyarah stepped out of the office and headed towards the direction of the classroom buildings. For some reason, she didn't feel like going to class. All she wanted to do was stay locked up in her room. She hadn't seen Hugo all this morning unlike she usually does, and her heart was still racing from having seen Adam earlier. Crap! Star still has my iPod! Ah well, I'll get it from her later. Running a hand through her hair again, Kiyarah turned right and continued on towards the Day Class classroom building.

However, something caught her. A navy blue uniform heading towards the Twilight Dorms. Her head immediately turning towards the person, Kiyarah's heart pounded at the sight of Farah, the Alpha-to-be. With as much speed as she could muster, Kiyarah ran towards the female. In seconds time, Kiyarah was back where she had just left. "Farah, what do you think you are doing? Classes have started and you're no where near the classrooms. Do you want to be marked truent? You know what this can do for you concerning patrol duties," she said in a stern voice, side stepping the girl so that she was looking at her eye to eye. Like the vampires, Kiyarah wasn't afraid of the werewolves. Sure Farah seemed fierce, but knowing that Kiyarah had authority here, the girl wouldn't dare do anything that would cause her father to think that she was not worthy to be Alpha. "Look, if you're here to speak to Mister Kiles about Star's appearance in the cafeteria today, he's already on it. I've spoken the Star as well. So please, head back to class. I would hate to have to report you like Hugo would have done instantly," she pleaded, her blue eyes begging.

Hearing meek little Kiyarah tell her to move along was impressive. "Farah, what do you think you are doing? Classes have started and you're no where near the classrooms. Do you want to be marked truent? You know what this can do for you concerning patrol duties," Certainly irritating, but still impressive. She wondered if the girl understood that truancy was really the least of her anxieties. Would the chancelor understand that this was a provoked action on the part of the leeches? Doubtful, considering that both of his wards were part vampire. Then again, maybe biology would work in her favor. The prefect would think that she would desperately avoid trouble. It was almost laughable. What would her father say if she told him there had been a vampire in her school's cafeteria durring human breakfast time? "Why didn't you kill it?" she imagined.

"I'm surprised to hear you threatening me. I just came to talk to the head leech and let him know that if his sister ever shows up on my time again, then she'll be in firey little bits in the middle of the dining hall." This is how the pack is supposed to work. When the Cold Ones threaten the general wellfare of the humans in the area, the wolves would resolve the problem. This was how the Alpha was supposed to behave. As a protector, a leader who wasn't afraid of anything that approached. Suddenly Kiyarah was speaking again. She was insisting that the problem was under control, and that the young bloodsucker had been taught her lesson. "Look, if you're here to speak to Mister Kiles about Star's appearance in the cafeteria today, he's already on it. I've spoken the Star as well. So please, head back to class. I would hate to have to report you like Hugo would have done instantly," she was saying. Farah bored into her pleading eyes coldly. "That's interesting. You've clearly handled the problem, and the leech's big brother has handled the problem, but there was still a problem! Even though it was a clear violation of the school's code of conduct and safety! Imagine that. She walked right through the rules and did what she wanted. I can't believe it." She could still feel her heartbeat pounding in her ears. Her tone had risen at first, but steadily became more and more of a low, angry growl.

Adam James Kiles is feeling [Annoyed]

He looked down at his sister. "What? Adam doesn't want his sister around poor little Day Class students?" Adam raised an eyebrow "I was there because Mr. Hot-shot over here was 'attending to his duties' when I needed him." He shook his head and was about to respond and she started speaking again "Besides. I went to find Kiyarah, and she would've stopped me before I hurt someone. And you know I don't care about consequences. I do what I need to." Adam held his hand up to stop her. "I understand that you only went there to get some more tablets but Star you know how easy it is for us to become exposed. What if it wasn't cloudy today? What if you had lost control and Kiyarah wasn't there to stop you." he noticed his voice getting louder and he calmed down. "In the future please just wait for me I always come around, don't I?" He smirked and then went rigid. "I have to go." was all he said as he exited his sisters room.

As he was leaving the Twilight dorms Adam could hear the argument taking place between Kiyarah and Farah. He moved a little faster than necessary but felt this was his fight not Kiyarah's. He opened the door from the dorms and set his hand on Kiyarah's shoulder. "You can go I'll speak with her." he looked at the werewolf "I know why you are here Farah, and I have dealt with the problem and I take full responsibility for what happened." the look on her face was of pure loathing. She hated him because of what he was and vise versa, but if they were going to live in this school together at least he would have to be diplomatic. He stood quietly waiting for the torrent of insults be flying from her. He herd her heart rate increase this time he knew it wasn't because she liked him, she was furious.

Kiyarah Antoinette Briarwood is feeling just a little : { infuriated }

User Image
With one blink, Kiyarah's soft begging blue eyes turned to one of anger. How dare this girl speak to her this way? And to make such a threat about someone that could have her expelled with good reason? Kiyarah couldn't help but be pissed. As the werewolf ranted on, obviously expressing her hate for vampires, Kiyarah couldn't help but feel a little infuriated. After all, she was part vampire as well. And to hear this person talk about her kind like that made Kiyarah feel offended. She was about to argue back, when all of a sudden she felt a cold hand on her shoulder. Hearing the voice, Kiyarah was surprised that she had not reacted the way she usually did. Sure her cheeks were burning red, but it was because she was angry at the female in front of her. When hearing Adam say that she could go, Kiyarah did not move a muscle. She remained where she was. Kiyarah Briarwood may be slow at some things, but she wasn't stupid. If she left now, only God knows what would happen. So she remained where she was standing, Adam's hand still on her shoulder. And still, no crush reaction. But there wasn't time to think about the fact that her crush was beside her, touching her. All she could think about was the fact that one of the rules was in the line of being broken if she didn't do anything about it soon.

After Adam spoke, Kiyarah stood in silence before clearing her throat. Her eyes still showed anger in them. It was time she showed that she actually did hold authority in this school. Shoving Adam's hand off her shoulder, Kiyarah stepped inbetween the two and glared at one to the other. "Before any of you think about arguing any farther, especially you Farah, might I remind you that you two are inside campus and will remain guests here until you graduate. And because you are guests, you are to follow rules. It is true that what Star did was a problem, but I - as Prefect - has resolved this problem. Adam." She turned to look at the male vampire. Again, no affectionate reaction. "I've spoken to my fa--the Chairman. He has told me to tell you that your sister is to be under house arrest for two weeks for walking around campus during the day time. She is to go to class and go straight to the dorms afterwards. Any wandering will lead to expulsion. I will leave it to you to make sure that she follows this punishment. I don't want to put this on her, but it's the Chairman's order. Now as for you Farah," Kiyarah turned to look at the female werewolf. "I understand that you hate all vampires. And I don't blame you if you hate me even though I'm half. But that does not mean that you can make such threats like you did. I will report this to the Chairman. If you're lucky, he would just leave you with a fair warning. I understand that it is your responsibility to make sure that everyone is safe, but last time I noticed, it was only during the night time when you are allowed to phase that you had such ability. During the day time, you are just like every human in this school. And as for the mischief, it is mine as well as Hugo's responsibility. We all must follow school regulations," she snared. As she spoke, Kiyarah had looked from Farah to Adam and then back to Farah.

There was a short pause as Kiyarah collected her thoughts. Then she continued. "No one is above the rules of this school. I don't give a rat's a** if you're an Alpha-to-be," she glared at Farah, "Or the eldest pureblood vampire," her eyes glared at Adam, "No one will go against the rules. It is true that Star has broken them far too many times, but we are working on fixing this dilemma. As well as Adam. Farah, threats like the one you spoke of - I don't care if you were joking or not - is forbidden. There will be no harm inflicted to either species. And I don't give a s**t if you two are enemies or not." Kiyarah breathed through her nose, completely infuriated. This was her Prefect duty speaking. Which would explain why she had not felt any affection feelings for Adam while standing there. All she felt was anger at how annoying these "born enemies" were. "The main reason the Chairman has allowed werewolves and vampires to attend this school was so that we could all coexist, as well as with humans. Especially for your species. It is time that you stop this loathing. If you don't even think about coexisting with one another, why the ******** did you even think about attending this school?" Now the last part was all Kiyarah. She had been wondering for so long why, if they hated each other so much, vampires and werewolves decided to come to the same school. If Kiyarah were one of the either species, she wouldn't have wasted her time coming here due to her hate for the other species.

The hybrid prefect crossed her arms tightly, standing in a way that showed that she did have authority in this school. She thought about Hugo, and how he would have handled this. Since he was part werewolf and part vampire, Kiyarah would think that he would have better luck with these two. Either way, Kiyarah was not afraid of either of them. She didn't think of them as a threat. "Farah, go to class. Don't dare object, you're already ten minutes late and that will not be looked upon lightly. There is a possible chance that the Chairman will suspend you from night patrol because of this. And as for you Adam, please return to your dorm and also inform Star about her punishment. I will not leave until both of you have followed what I have said," she said sternly, looking from one to the other. She seriously hoped that they would follow. If they didn't, Kiyarah had no idea what she would do. She wasn't like Hugo. This was his area of expertise since he usually dealt with vampires and werewolves while she dealt with vampires and humans.

Adam James Kiles is feeling [Furious]

Adam didn’t know how to react to the explosion of the Prefect in front of him. For a moment he stood there stunned and almost in awe at the display of authority. He couldn’t believe that she had just treated him like the pup that she now stands in front of. And then the anger came quicker and quicker till Adam was all but consumed by it. He had never felt rage like this it took every once of self control not to resort to his most basic instincts. At first he stood there crippled by his anger, keeping him anchored to the ground. He had the physical strength to tear the floor out from under him but not to move his legs. His eyes shot from Kiyarah to Farah and back, his mind going blank with every stare. And then his composure broke. His lips pulled back exposing his deadly, white teeth, his mouth was filled with the bitter taste of his venom. His body tensed as if he were ready to pounce but he just turned from them. He was out of there sight in a flash leaving only a crushed door knob in his wake.

He returned to Stars room, the same enraged look on his face. He rose his hand as if to ask her to give him a minute to compose himself. After a few short breaths he was able to arrange his feature to their normal peaceful expression. It would be a façade that his sister would easily see through, but he need to pass on her punishment. "Star, the Chairman has put you under house arrest for two weeks. In that time you are to remain in your room, and the only time you may leave is to attend your classes. If you are seen outside of your room in the next two weeks, you may be expelled." He finished never bringing his eyes to hers. He didn’t wait for her to respond ”I’m sorry, I have to leave. Call my cell phone if there is anything you need.” And with that he dashed from her room.

Before he could form a coherent thought he was in his room sitting at his piano his hands blazing across the keys. This was no song he had played before it was all new, but coming all too easily. The music roared through his room filling every square inch of it with the tune. He kept the song going, his eyes closed the whole time, till it reached its climactic end. He sit there for a second composing his thoughts. He decided to see the Chairman, and to see if anything could be done about his sister’s punishment. He rose from the piano and left his room the song still ringing in his ears. He took the route to the Chairman’s office that he new would cast no sunlight on him. He reached his door a bit too fast but knew no one had seen him. He knocked and opened the door stepping in to see the man with all the power. ”I am sorry to disturb you sir, but I have to speak with you about my sisters latest indiscretion. I understand the she has gone too far with her venturing into the dining hall during Day class, but I assure you I have remedied this and no further outburst of this kind will happen again. I would also like to ask you leave my father out of this, the last thing he needs is to believe my sister has entirely disregarded the rules here." He stood silently waiting for the Chairman’s response. This had been the most he had said to anyone in a very long time.

"I am what I am."

Pearll is just bored.

I hate myself. How could I be so careless?! Pearll thought as she immediately turned back to look for Lyrine. I left her with a thirsty vampire! She ran back, already quivering. Wait! Slow down, girl. Kiyarah would most probably have everything under control. Don't worry. Chill. Pearly, you're not going to phase here. It'll get you killed! As she slowly began to calm down, she scanned the place for a sign of Lyrine. s**t! Where is she? Pearll thought as she walked towards her first class-- algebra. I share first period with her. Most probably, she's already in class. Whistling, she strolled towards class. She caught a glimspe of Hugo slinking around the corridors and sped up. She didn't want to spend time in detention or maybe house arrest... She turned into the class. "Hello, Teacher! Pearll's here for algebra."[ She gave the teacher an infectious smile as she went to her usual seat. Lyrine's not here... Just where is she?

After a while, Lyrine entered the class. In the nick of time. "Hey! I was just wondering where you went. Sorry I left you with Star and Kiyarah. I was thinking about something." She smiled at her. Pearll heard her talking about... a cute guy. "So you just bumped into him? A cute guy? Man, you really have all the luck, I tell you!" Cute guys... hmm... the guy from baseball? Or the captain of the basketball team? What about one of the nerds? Some of them are pretty cute too... Gawd! Don't tell she's actually talking about Keith? He looks good, in a nerdy sort of way. Pearll was usually easy-going, but she can't help but bear a grudge over Keith. Keith, who was just at Oak Point for a month... the guy who was so clever that he managed to score better than her in who knows how many quizes and tests. And he's fast becoming the resident scholar. What the hell. How I wish I could just kick his butt after I score better than him. It will look comical! Pearll chuckled softly. I wonder which class we have in common, I'd study ten times harder. She turned to Lyrine. "Hey, I was just curious. Is the guy Keith?"

"-- Pearll Lynette Spiet! I want the solution to question two, page fifty-two." Pearll looked up, momentarily stunned. "Oh, okay... x equals ten." Pearll just babbled something out. "No, you're obviously not on the same page as the rest of the class. May Miss Spiet be kind enough to please open her algebra textbook and flip it to page fifty-two. And be good enough to pay attention." Pearll flushed a dull red. "Yes, sir." But she still managed to smile up at the teacher. A quiet, daunting smile. Sometimes, I wonder who invented Algebra to torment me. I should actually be glad that Keith don't have the same Algebra class as me. She grumbled silently as she yawned hugely. Okay, I know this. You've got a x, you've got a y and some jumble of numbers... Her mind 'clicked' and she worked out all of the solutions for the questions.

Pearll let her mind wonder freely. Lyrine is surprisingly nice to be with. She didn't have a mum... that makes us have at least a thing in common. She look nice too, for a human, that is. My first human friend... it didn't actually matter, did it? Yeah, it does. Later, I'm going to hear Farah rave about speaking to humans and befriending them. And then, talking to Star. I'll kick her butt first. She'll not see her coming. Pearll decided. "Miss Spiet, can I have the answer to question two part one?" Startled out of her train of thought, Pearll glanced at her book. "x equals negative two and y equals two point five." She said. "I'm right." It was not a question but a statement. The teacher nodded once, curtly. Yes, you are. But if I catch you day-dreaming again, I'll send you to detention before you can say 'opps'. Now, start doing exercise four point eight and I want it on my desk before the bell goes. By hook or by crook." What a grumpy old man! Pearll screamed silently as she started on her work. "There you have it, x equals to ten!" Pearll said as she finished up the exercise. She looked at the clack and was disappointed to see that there was still a long half-an-hour to the end of the period. She looked towards Lyrine. "You okay there? Maths is boring. Oh, and which class are you having next? I'm having Geography."

Hugo is actually feeling rather thirsty.

Hugo gasped as a wave of antagonizing wave of thirst hit him. He hadn't taken his blood tablets for quite a few days. And the thirst was getting quite unbearable. Oh god! I can't believe I forgot to take a blood tablet before I went out. Trying to forget his thirst, he searched his bag for a packet of blood tablets. In his frenzy, he couldn't find any. Panicking, he emptied his bag of its content and managed to find what he was looking for. But there was only one left. He swallowed without any water. It managed to quench his thirst though only partially. Struggling, he threw everything into his bag before standing up and moving off to class. It was a first-- he couldn't find Kiyarah and therefore have to attend class without her. The burning thirst in his throat was fading... but still there. Okay, I think I could survive this class. He glance at his watch. There's like only a half-hour left. He walked slowly to Algebra, trying to prepare himself for the smell of humans. "Urgh, sorry teacher. I'm catching tardy people so I've become slightly late." He mumbled as he stumbled into the classroom. He took a deep breath to calm himself and his thirst suddenly got a hundred times worse. Because someone there had a bleeding cut.

Hugo gasped. I feel terrible. He walk numbly to a seat, not bothering to take his usual seat. "As I've been saying, I need exercise four point eight on my table before the bell goes. If you have any problems, just..." The teacher looked around Hugo. "Ask Pearll to help. I'm sure Miss Spiet would be happy to help you." Yeah, right. Wait a minute... Pearll?! What's she doing in Algebra? He glanced at his left and sure enough, Pearll was there, talking to a human. Isn't that Lyrine, the new girl? He looked down at the sums he was supposed to complete. Glad to have something to distract him, he started to work on it. He couldn't get anything right, and he was getting very very annoyed. He was exerting a lot of self-control not to pounce the person with the cut and suck him dry. Don't think about blood. Don't tempt yourself.

But it was getting more and more difficult to keep the thirst in control. Hugo glanced at his watch. Just five minutes have passed. Perhaps, I should just ask Pearll to help me... I guess not... What could she do? What should I do? The thirst was shredding his self-control into pieces. Suddenly, his mouth was filled with more venom. Jeez. Just a little n** wouldn't hurt right? Nooooo... how could you think this way? Dad'll kill me with his bare hands if I attacked one of the people in here. Oh god. Somebody help! Hugo cried for help, silently. Oh, I give up! His self-control in tatters around him, he pounced.

"I am what I am."

Pearll is feeling just a little pained.

When Hugo entered the classroom, Pearll was asking Lyrine a question. She glanced up and was shocked by his jerky movements. He's hungry or maybe... thirsty. Not only Star has blood tablets woes today. And then she realized what's the salty smell in the air-- blood. Someone here has got a cut. She watched as the teacher addressed him. He's really distracted. She turned back to Lyrine. "Lyrine...umm... Hugo looks sick. I may have to bring him to the sick bay. So maybe I'll catch up with you later?" Pearll grabbed her homework and passed it to her. "Help me hand this up to the teacher. Thanks!" She gave her a wink and returned her attention to Hugo. She was about to talk to him when he pounced. Oh my god! She was up immediately and blocked his attack. As chest connected with shoulder, an audible crack could be heard. A gasp went through the whole class as everyone in the class stared at Pearll and Hugo. Pearll winced but stood her ground. She wasn't the strongest werewolf for nothing. She snarled at Hugo, an angry snarl that seem more animal than man. "Sir, I think I better bring Hugo to the Chairman." She said.

Pearll trembled, but she knew she couldn't actually phase here. Not in front of so many curious eyes. She saw Lyrine looking at her and she mouthed, "Sorry. I'll see you later." She quickly exited the classroom, towing Hugo along. "Damn you, Hugo. You dislocated my shoulder." She hissed. The shoulder was already healing, but crookedly. She broke it again whilst gasping in pain. What the hell. She put the joint in place and held it there till it started healing. And everything happened in two minutes. Where should I bring him? The chairman? Kiyah? Yeah, if I knew where she was. Twilight Dorms? Yeah, and the pack will stop talking to me for one hundred and twenty years. But it is nearer. And there must be a supply of blood tablets there. And I most probably could drag him there in human form with an injured shoulder. She grimaced as she towed him in the general direction of the Twilight Dorms, hoping against hope of a miracle.

..today Farah is..{blinded by a scarlet rage}. wouldn't you?

User Image

Farah could see red in the corner of her eyes. Her face must have been flushed to a deep crimson with outrage. There was nothing but her own pulse pounding in her ears. Farah wasn't sure, but she thought it was possible that Kiyarah was still talking. It had come to the point in this conversation where the young Alpha was no longer going to accept the unacceptable. She had been sworn at and told off by a nepotistically appointed authority figure who had her own prejudices and predispositions. She was a completely beside herself with unadulterated fury.

"What if, instead of going to class, we went to your father--I mean the Chancellor's office, and explain to him your abusive and blatantly biased opinion regarding my natural instincts to protect my pack and the humans in this community from a bloodsucker who regularly overdoses on dietary supplements to stop herself from making the Freshman class her personal juice box?"

Farah's eyes burned into Kiyah's form. Her face was blurred, and the world was spinning. She didn't notice that her breath had become sped, and shallow as she continued to list the reasons why she was right.

"How dare you question? What am I even doing here? Did you think I was going to let myself, my pack become...bait...leeches"

The words were coming too quickly now, Farah was choking on them. She couldn't tell which ones were aloud and which were internal. The spinning became faster. Her face burned hotter. She couldn't tell what her reality was looking like anymore. It wasn't until everything went black and she'd hit the ground that she could feel the angry tears she'd been unknowingly streaming start to cool on her cheeks.

♥ Lyrine.
If you have never been here, thank your luckiest stars. User Image

“Yeah, actually. I just remembered. His name is Keith. The class prez, right? Correct me if I’m wrong.” Lyrine seriously was curious about him. And then she straightened up as if a bolt of lightning had just struck. Crap, the damn teacher. Lyrine looked up and nodded with his words. A trick she’d learned in sixth grade. Nod, take ‘notes,’ and look busy. Not too interested, ‘cause that’s an obvious fake. But Pearll got in trouble anyways. ”Sorry!” She murmured lightly so the teacher wouldn’t hear her. Then Lyrine went back to doodling on her new notebook. As if she could concentrate on math. Psh, who needed math anyway? It was a waste of time. See, if this were designing, or clothing accessories or something… “Huh?” Lyrine turned back to Pearll. ”Oh, I’m fine. I don’t have geography next. Wait, lemme check my schedule, ‘k?”

Lyrine bent to get her bag, and started rifling through papers to find her schedule. The neat typed paper she’d been given the first day. Yeah, Lyrine had memorized it, but once she came into math, she started blanking out. And who could possibly remember anything when feeling this sleepy? Yeah, the net paper she’d been given was now crumpled up as Lyrine fished it out. She wrinkled her nose in dismay. Why couldn’t she stay organized? Lyrine doffed her backpack to the floor and began straightening out the paper on her desk over her math notebook. The professor began to call off another assignment, and Lyrine paused to copy it down. She’d have to work on it later, maybe in her dorm or something. Unless it was due now. God, this sorely sucked. For the millionth time, Lyrine cursed violently at her dad in her mind. Stupid dad, stupid school, stupid retarded math. The door opened, and Lyrine looked up distracted. ‘Wow, that guy was way hot, even if he did look he had anger issues or something. No, wait, Lyrine get back to your freaking work.’ She chastised herself. Out of habit, she began twisting her blonde curls up randomly.

”Oh, okay. Hugo as in the guy that just came in.”. Lyrine nodded as Pearll dropped her sheet of math on her desk. There was another name Lyrine knew now. ‘Hah, I’m on a roll!’ She hadn’t even finished the thought when suddenly the guy, Hugo leaped up from his chair. Something about his movement immediately grabbed Lyrine’s attention. It was with the same inhuman speed Pearll had used when she’d been surprised, even the same grace. He moved forward as if he was gonna jump on someone, but then all of a sudden Pearll was there. Lyrine’s eyes popped. Pearll had NOT been there a second before. And they collided. Lyrine winced at the sound. No way Pearll could keep standing after that. But she was standing, and growling, too. Like an animal. With a word to the teacher, and an apology to Lyrine, Pearll and the guy were gone in a flash. That had happened way too fast to be considered normal. The whole class murmured and began to shift around in their seats. “Everybody! Quiet down please. Everything will be taken care of. Now I would recommend you all get back to your work and finish it before the bell rings.” But he looked uneasy, and even Lyrine could tell that much.

Looking down at her math book as the numbers swam randomly around her head, Lyrine began to think. Something was up. First there was Pearll with her indestructible appetite. But she was nice, and normal. And then the prefect, Kiyarah. Star, hiding something in her hands, leaving like she couldn’t stand staying in the cafeteria. And then this whole you-can’t-hurt-me attitude half the people in the school seemed to be sporting. “Lyrine, are you having trouble with the class? Do you understand the material? I understand that you’re new here…” The professor trailed off. ”Oh, um, I’m doing fine. Don’t worry, I’ll catch on soon enough.” She assured him. And then, ”Oh, Pearll left her math behind to turn in.” She gave him Pearll’s sheet, and he nodded, ambling off to his desk. Under the paper she had just given him was her schedule. She glanced at it, and sighed. Next class: English. Lyrine got back to work. This was gonna be a long class.

.::Star . Resme . Carter::.

You know you want me......
It's just too bad I'm beyond your reach

Star Resme Carter is feeling:.::Furious::.
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Punishment? For asking a Prefect for Blood Tablets? What the hell? If she'd waited any longer, it would've been bye-bye pretty little vampire. Star paced up and down her room in the Twilight dorm. Adam had scolded her and Kiyarah had kept an eye on her. It wasn't as if she'd just stormed in and pounced. Even though Star knew the chairman had reason, she couldn't think of how it wouldve happened. Adam had simply left and she'd gotten a slap on the wrist, and Kiyarah- no matter how good a prefect- was too nice to her. The outline of a gorgeous and deadly werewolf came to her.

Farah... the Alpha to be. That stupid wolf! I'd rather be a 'leech' than a stuck up female dog like her! Fuming, a pale flush spread across her face. Star, normally ignorent towards the werewolf/vampire war, found herself wishing their whole race was pummled into a pile of rotten flesh. Then she realized that she had clenched her fists way too tightly, so that a bit of blood was drawn. Wiping it onto a towel before thirst could get her, Star ploped down on the bed.

"No use sulking. I would go and argue with the chairman, but knowning him, he'd just kick me out and expell me. Then I'll get a scolding from Mason and Adam." Sighing, Star rolled over on the bed, trying to fall asleep. But to no avail. Vampires didn't sleep: something that seperated them from humans. Star wondered if vampires ever regretted being a 'monster'. Because right now, she sure was. It wasnt Adam or Mason's fault, and she knew that. But once in a while, she would feel hatred for becoming what she was, and simply wished to be normal. "If I told Mason that I wanted to be human again... what would he say?

Unhappy with the way she was behaving, Star smacked herself on the forehead. Wishing wasn't going to make her human again- nothing could do that- and so she might as well stop trying. There were many good things about being a vampire right? Star was faster, smarter, stronger... but those were all physical. For the first time, Star realized how mentally unstable the vampires were. Constantly thinking about how monsterous they were, and being secluded for life, vampires were pretty unfortunate creatures. If only every school was like Oak Point.

[ Announcement ]

Hey ladies and gentlemen!
I just have a few announcements before I start working on my posts for Kiyarah and Keith.
Okay to start off business, I would like to inform you guys that I have updated the time period post on the first page. Please post so as to sync with the time period.
Now on to some difficult business. On Friday at 5PM Pacific time I'm going to make a serious time skip. Except for changing the time period so that it will be third period, I'm going to change it to the end of sixth period so that we'll have the Class switch. I want to see how this will go. So on Thursday or Friday morning, make sure to finish all business relating to the second period setting and be prepared to start posting so that it's nighttime.

On a brighter note, I received a pm from Toju with a brilliant idea to lighten up this roleplay and have all members interact with each other.
Toju gave me the idea that we should have a Holloween ball in Oak Point. And since the setting right now is the 28th, I think it would be a good idea.
If you agree with this idea, please PM me as soon as possible with your okay. If the majority of you say yes, I will enforce it.

Okay well I shall go and work on my posts now.
I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas!
:]

Note ~ Please don't respond to this below. If you have any questions, feel free to pm me.

Kiyarah Antoinette Briarwood is feeling just a little : { worried }

User Image
The female hybrid could feel her heart drop, or break into pieces at the expression on Adam's face. She knew he was mad at him. And she couldn't blame him. He was the oldest vampire in this campus and was use to being superior to everyone else. And at that moment, when she took superiority so that she could lecture him, Kiyarah couldn't blame him for being mad. She felt horrible, and this feeling was extreme because of affectionate feelings for him. Watching him leave in such a fury, Kiyarah found yet another reason to hate herself for more than she has for the past sixteen and a half years. She hurt her friend, and for sure she had hurt Star because of the house arrest. Guilt filled her entire body yet again. I can never be over this feeling. It will always come and haunt me. she thought, turning to look Farah now that the scent of Adam was gone. Didn't mean that her guilty feeling had left too. It was still there, and it was for sure going to stay there.

The main reason Kiyarah never wanted to deal with the werewolves was because of their anger. Kiyarah was not an angry person, she only showed it rarely. But that did not mean that she coward once Farah showed rage. Oh no, she stood her ground and took in the harsh words. Farah was right, but only because Kiyarah had no idea about werewolf instinct. Again, another reason why Hugo was better off dealing with this stuff than her. Kiyarah was stunned immobile as Farah had her little fit...in lighter terms than the word she was really thinking. But when the girl collapsed to the ground due to her fit of rage, Kiyarah blinked out of her state of shock and immediately knelt down in front of her. She dared not touch the girl, the result would be that she would be in pieces. But she showed a look of concern. Her prefect duties no longer showed on her face. It was only the look of a friend. "Farah. Are you okay? Look, you really need to control your anger. I don't anything about being in your position but from what I've seen from Hugo, I know it's hard. But please, for the sake of this school, try. I don't mean to make such horrible assumptions about you and your kind, but I'm just looking after this school. I know that the safety of your pack is the most important thing to you, and that you don't really care about the rest, but please I beg you. Don't take away the one thing that means so much to my father," she said, her voice soft with pleading. Kiyarah dared attempt to comfort the girl. But the tears that fell from the girl's cheeks scared her a bit.

"I don't want to make enemies with you, Farah. I want to work together with you to help keep this school safe. And to help fulfill my father's dreams of coexistance. I know it's going to be hard. I can see it in your eyes when you look at vampires. And I can tell that you dislike me partially because I'm part vampire. But I still don't want to be enemies with you," the hybrid added with a sigh. She took out a tissue from her bookbag, handing it to the girl in front of her. There was just so many things going on in her mind. So many thoughts that need to be thought over. One was Farah. The girl had every right to go to her father and tell him about the comments she had said. It was fine with Kiyarah if Farah did do so. She wasn't perfect, and Kiyarah knew that completely when she took up the position as Prefect. It had taken her so long to actually memorize all the rules of the school, especially with her slow ability to remember things. Running a hand through her long curly hair, Kiyarah's blue eyes grazed over the scenery of this school. There was so much potential with this school, and yet there were some that took it for granted. So many opportunities for things that can not be done to be done. "There is no such thing as impossible, Yaya!" Kiyarah could hear her father say in her mind. No such thing as impossible. Kiyarah breathed out yet another sigh then stood up.

The female's blue eyes stared down at the Farah before leaning forward to help her up. "Please don't kill me. I'm just trying to help," she muttered nicely, supporting Farah until her back was to the cemented railing of the steps. Kiyarah then pulled away and smiled lightly. "I hope you're okay. And I apologize for earlier. But if you wanted to talk to Ad--uhh Mister Kiles about Star's rebellious behavior, could you have done it when you weren't suppose to be in class? Like during Class swtich?" she suggested, backing away just in case the girl wanted to snap at her again. Just then, something flashed into her peripheral vision. Two figures coming right at this area. Turning her head immediately to look, Kiyarah's heart stopped at that moment. "Hugo!" Kiyarah cried out, leaping off the steps and running with inhuman speed towards the two people heading towards her. She stopped when she was at her best friend's side, a look of worry washed all over her face. He had the look of thirst in his eyes.

Taking the guy from Pearll, giving her a look of thanks before returning her attention towards the guy in her arms, Kiyarah brought his face up to look at her. "Hugo. Did you take your tablet? Come on fight this. You've done it before. Come on, Hugo. Fight it," she begged, rummaging through her bag for her packet of tablets. Only to remember that she had given hers to Star. Cursing to herself, Kiyarah looked towards Pearll with a worried look. "Do you know if he took his tablet, Pearll?" she asked worriedly, wrapping her arm around Hugo's waist. "Pearll, look after Farah. She's at the steps," she then added, remembering the Alpha-to-be. Cursing silently a little more, the hybrid grabbed Hugo's bag with one hand and rummaged through it for any sign of his packet. There was none. Damnit! Breathing heavily, Kiyarah wrapped an arm around Hugo's waist, bringing his arm around her shoulders. "Pearll, I'm going to the Chairman's office to get more tablets for Hugo. And I just heard the bell for second period, make sure to arrive to your class on time with Farah okay?" Kiyarah hastily said before heading towards her father's office.

Minutes later, Kiyarah burst into the Chairman's office, preoccupied with Hugo to realize that he had a visitor. "Dad, Hugo needs tablets," she said, placing the guy on a chair. It was when she was finally able to relax did she realize that a familiar scent was in the room. Looking towards her side, Kiyarah's heart dropped yet again at the sight of Adam. She quickly averted her eyes, keeping them on Hugo. When the Chairman came with a bottle of water and two blood red tablets in his hands, Kiyarah took then instantly and gave them to Hugo. "Here. Take these," she said, keeping her blue eyes on her best friend. All the while, she could feel her father and Adam talking about whatever they were talking about before she came in. "I'll drop it down to five days, Mister Kiles. But you must tell Star to refrain from her behavior from now on. Understood? And I will still inform your father," Kiyarah heard her father say. This made Kiyarah feel the guilt all over again. Adam was going through all of this effort to get his sister out of trouble and punishment. If only I had kept my mouth shut. the hybrid thought, letting out a silent sigh as she continued to look down at Hugo.

ll ooc:: Little-Sweet_Misery- I'm soooo sorry that I sort of moved Hugo here and there. But I needed to get this roleplay going a bit. Again, I'm sorry. D: ll
