((People who are that perky in the morning I want to punch D:< IN DA FACE... okay I post now.))
Talen mumbled some sort of good morning greeting in return, but it might have just been a grunt. Then he followed this by blinking stupidly at Abel. "... Cleaning... what? What... mold... what are you even..." He put a hand to his sleepy head and rubbed at it. "What was wrong with the house? It... sick? You've lost me, kiddo."
More awake he laughed. "Bonkers? Who the hell says bonkers?" He spared a tired smile and rubbed at his eyes. "Whatever, Abel. If you wanna clean go on and clean. Just know that's completely abnormal. I wanna break it to you now. No one LIKES cleaning or feels... what did you say?... Antsy?" He laughed again and shook his head, but he didn't have much more to say after that, because there was a rather large plate of food in front of him.
He stared.
And proceeded not to really respond with words being that he was stuffing his face with an assortment of breakfasty things. He grunted or nodded in response to the photo remark, not really seeming to care. He shrugged his shoulders and waved a fork with a sausage stuck on the end.
When asked about school he titled his head from side to side and waved a hand. He said something along the lines of: "Mumph mar muh humah." Swallowed and said: "This is REALLY good by the way." And vanished more food into his mouth.
((LOL. HE'S A GROWING BOY. Alice will waeks up soons D:< ))

((Hahaha. Well hopefully not Abel! ;D Cause that'd be sad...))
"But I do." Abel said simply to Talen's statement about no one liking to clean. "It's just a habit." His eyes studied the pan as he skillfully flipped an egg over and turned back around to watch Talen heat his food.
"I take that as a yes. I really want to come, just to see what school is like in America. I bet it's wonderful and you learn so many things! Most of the stuff I learned was from life experiences, like cooking, protecting yourself, standing up for other people, you get the gist of it." He waved his hand slightly.
"Oh, thank you! I'm glad you like it." He said politely and watched Talen some more, Alice's voice drifting through his mind as he watched the boy devour sausage and eggs. A soft sigh came from his lips and he looked over to the window, a bird watching them from a tree. As it grew quiet, save for the eating sounds, he turned around and finished making breakfast for Alice.

(( D:.... I'M BAD. *posts really quick*))
Abel made a face at Abel at his request to come with him. He frowned slowly and put his fork down. "It's really not that interesting." He said smoothly. "Seriously... and we don't really learn that much." He laughed. "You should probably-"
And anything else he might have said was interrupted by a very stunned Alice, freshly showered and confused. "... Did he cook everything in the kitchen?" She asked looking around like she also was in the wrong house. "... And... it's so."
"Clean and lemony fresh?" Talen put in helpfully.
"Yes." She said collapsing into a chair next to Talen. "I... I'm." And could think of nothing further to say. Instead she sat there just looking around and shaking her head.

Abel looked back over to Talen. He seemed to be contemplating something as he watched the other boy. There was part of him that truly wanted to go, but another part that just wanted to go so that he knew Talen would go. It made him feel guilty for trying to use such a low form of persuasion, which made him feel guilty for trying to persuade anyone in the first place. "No! Really! I want to come. Not just for learning, but to see what its like, and to meet other people." He smiled happily before Alice came into the kitchen, his smile widening as he finished setting the food on a new plate.
"Good Morning." He said sweetly and placed the plate of food in front of her. When she shook her head he made a confused, almost pitiful face, and took a step back. "Hopefully it was alright that I cleaned and cooked you breakfast. I felt horrible touching things and all of that nonsense, but it really, er, bothered me." He rubbed at his messy hair and pulled down his shirt he had slept in. He used a pale foot to scratch his bare calve, wearing his boxers he had gotten, thinking they were pajamas as well. It didn't seem Talen had anything special on either, so he figured it was okay.
With the lack of clothes he appeared handsomely boyish. There was that certain eighteen year old, sort of soft, appeal about him that was hard to find in many others. Also one could make faint scars along his arms and legs that hadn't been there the other day. They were so faint though that it only seemed as if it was from itching himself.
After taking a seat next to Alice he grinned at them and put some food in his mouth. "Talen's going to take me to school with him." He said after swallowing some egg. "So that means you'll be able to have some time to yourself." His blue eyes lightened and he looked to his food. "I was thinking maybe after we got back...we could do something? Something fun. It's been a while since I've gotten any chance to do..." Pausing he pushed his fork into his sausage, moving it around and trying to think of the right words. "Since I've gotten a chance to do normal things." When he looked up he nibbled on the sausage, waiting for someone to agree with him.

((I'm ALL DONE WITH MY EXAMS. FRICKIN' YESSSSSS.
Feels good. MMMHMMM.))
Alice quickly caught herself in he confusion and touched Abel on a form arm. "OH NO! Don't... oh god. I'm sorry. I just am not used to going to bed, waking up, and then finding everything... uh... it's all." She looked around and then to Abel. She smiled at him brightly. "It's wonderful. Thank you." She laughed. "Good morning." She added on and removed her hand.
Talen laughed and shook his head slowly, running a hand through his hair. However, he paused in this motion at what Abel said next.
"Oh?" Alice said and grinned at Talen brightly.
Talen pushed back slightly from the table. "Well, I... you see, I don't think he really... and I mean it's such a long... he seriously... and there'd be nothing really for him to do-"
"That's really great of you, Talen. I think Abel seeing your school would be great. You don't want him to hang out with your sister all day do you? What kind of friend would you be then?" And she gave him a smirk.
Talen looked between either of them, mouth open like he might have tried a different kind of argument, but then clasped his hands together and slowly released his breath. "Yeah." He said with not even an attempt at acting enthusiastic. "It'll be great."
"Something after?" Alice said happily. "Oh sure! I'm sure I can come up with something for when you two get back. Just don't be too late, huh?"
Talen stood from his chair. "I'm going to shower. Be ready to leave when I am, alright Abel?" And with that he stole away from the kitchen to the upstairs to get ready for school.

((Congratulations! I'm so proud of you! I've got my finals next week. Haha it shouldn't be too difficult, just AP Gov.
Anyways, quick post before I go over to Ting-a-ling's house!))
Abel nodded and looked over to Talen as Alice declared it was a great idea. "I thought so too. I think it will be fun, meeting new people, seeing new sights." He smiled genuinely and put some more food into his mouth, chewing it thoroughly. "It WILL be great!" He exclaimed to Talen's less enthusiastic remark. It wasn't quite obvious if Abel either didn't know Talen was not very pumped, or that Abel knew this and was trying to put some cheer into him.
"Oh, we won't be late, I promise. I'm pretty good with time, never late for anything." He put a finger to his wrist where there was no watch and watched Talen sounder off from the kitchen. "I will, I will, just worry about yourself, Talen." He nodded quickly and then looked over to Alice, smiling at her.
"I'll make sure he learns something new." He said simply, got up, and started to clean the dishes. "I'll also make sure he stays out of trouble. Somehow I think he wouldn't take me into anything risky...like I'm some kind of kid...but that might be a good thing." He laughed a bit and after cleaning Talen and his plate, he started towards where he had put his bags of clothes.

(( LOL.... I don't want to work today... :< ))
Alice smiled simply and continued to eat the rest of her breakfast.
Talen spent the better part of twenty minutes showering, brushing his teeth, and finding somewhat clean clothes to wear. He never took long to get ready and it was something he was going to try and use to his advantage. Tossing a few things in his backpack and grabbing his guitar case and folder of sheet music in the other he thumped his way downstairs and made for the door.
"See you later, Alice!" And he rushed passed her.
She grabbed him. "Hold on. Abel is almost ready."
"Well, I mean... I'm about to be late. Seriously. And he'll only slow me up. Don't you want me to get a good and proper education?" He flashed her his most charming smile.
She was not moved. She raised her eyebrows. "You have time." She pet him lightly on his head. "He's leaving, Abel!" Alice called sweetly and shot her brother an affectionate smirk. "You can still catch him if you hurry!"
Talen sighed slightly and once sure his sister had released his arm, b-lined his way to the door and was power walking down the street.

Abel ended up using Alice's shower, trying to wash as best as he could. The shower, he found out, as an amazing invention. He no longer had to keep clean the best he could for a week or so. It was also so much faster then a bath. After getting out he had put on some fitting jeans, a dark gray sweater and a white vest. When he looked in the mirror he was very satisfied with himself. Of course he didn't want to be cocky or self-centered, but he looked nice. He only hoped the others would think so. If they didn't they would probably be out of there mind. There was probably not much Abel could have worn to make him look bad, he could still be in his robe and still look amazing.
As he was pulling on his socks he heard Alice from downstairs and he grabbed his new jacket, his remaining sock, and his shoes. "Wait up!" He yelped and began to skip down the stairs, almost leaping from the fifth step. "I'm coming!" He waved to Alice before disappearing out the door and turning his head to see Talen.
"Hey!" He cried out, trying to quickly pull on the other sock. He pushed on his shoes without trying them and was off running down the street. "Wait up, my shoes are flopping everywhere!" And they were, clapping against the ground with each step. At one point he almost tripped, nearly falling into Talen. He grabbed the other boy's arm tightly and pulled him to a stop, with a bit too much force. Where his strength had come from...he didn't know. "Oh, sorry." He let go and fluffed up his hair, taking another settling breath. "Okay, let me just put my shoes on real quick."
Smiling pleasantly he tied the laces of his shoes and dusted of his jeans. "I didn't mean to be so slow! The shower was amazing! If I had that back where I used to live, I'd have been so elated. It's quite a miraculous device, that 'shower' is." The excitement in his eyes was obvious, the blue was bright against the rising sun and his hands wouldn't stay in one spot. "I haven't been to school in so long! I am so delighted you let me come. I really can't thank you enough. I just hope I won't be in your way or any of that sort, honestly, if I am, you let me know, and I'll step aside in a jiffy."
((Ohhhh Abel, what a thrill ride you are in for with modern day high school. D: ))

((MORE THAN ONE POST A DAY? HAHAHA. RIDICULOUS. THAT'S CRAZY TALK.
I'm doing it.))
Talen was obligated to slow down as Abel called out his name. He released a breath slowly and looked to the side. "This is going to be a long day..." He said to himself and felt Abel fall into him, gripping one of his arms. He pulled him up slightly to help right him.
"Geesh, man, don't wanna hold your hand." He smiled at him, and slid from his grip. He then stopped with him as Abel bent to tie his shoes. Talen crossed his arms and slowly tapped a foot. "Uh huh." He said. "Showers are pretty great. I mean... yanno, the whole clean thing. Pretty good stuff." He glanced at his watch. "I'll be sure to let you know... but..."
Talen made a half gesture, paused, and looked to Abel. "I'm going to have to ask you... to stop... being..." He ran a hand through his hair, followed by the other hand and squinted as he searched for the most polite choice of words.
Being polite was never one of Talen's strong points.
"You're going to have to stop flipping a s**t over every little thing, alright? I know the world is AN AMAZING NEW PLACE, to you... but seriously. People'll wonder and I don't want to have to tell everyone you're like... I dunno, Amish, or something." He fixed his dark eyes on him. "Got it? Okay. Good. This way." And started down the street again.
Walking to school wasn't a very long trip, and soon they joined a general crowd of other students congregating to the same fenced off building. It wasn't too soon after nearly reaching the gates that a young man fell into step with Talen, slinging an arm around his shoulders.
He was the sort of guy that echoed Talen's overall charm and easy smile, but there was an edge to how he moved, something too intentional to be innocent. There was also a sort of predatory glint in his eye, his eyes chillingly blue; nothing like Abel's. They were too eerie to be beautiful. His hair was straight, auburn, and tousled to match the thrown on clothes he was wearing.
"MORNIN' sunshine." The boy said, all bright teeth and eyes. He gave Talen the once over. "Really skimped on that beauty sleep, didn't ya?"
Talen punched the kid in a friendly way. "Lay off, Cain."
The boy known as Cain gave Talen a little shove and then caught sight of Abel. "... Who's the princess?" Moments before he seemed just as boyish and friendly as any boy should be his age, in this moment he seemed suspicious and somehow calculating. "New friend?" His voice was slick.
Talen shook his head. "He's cool. Right, Abel?" He gave the angel an encouraging look.
"Dresses like my sister." Cain said.
((Hhahahahaa, Cain. I thought that would be appropriate for him.))

Abel straightened up after tying his shoes and tilted his head slightly when Talen began to ask him to stop being... Somehow Abel knew what he was going to say. His eyes dulled a bit and he looked to the side, playing with his curly hair a bit. "Okay...I'll try. I understand, you wouldn't want to be embarrassed by me or anything." He narrowed his eyes, not in an angry way, but an almost hurt kind of manner.
He knew what it was like, to be embarrassed and teased. Back when he was in school he went through it every day. There was something about a polite, patient, and smart boy that made all the other boys want to target him. It wouldn't have been too much of a problem, if Abel wasn't always afraid to hurt anyone's feelings. "Just let me know, okay? I might not really know if I do something." He smiled timidly as he walked with Talen.
As they got to school, his sulky attitude turned bright again and he was all smiles. The atmosphere made him sick with anticipation. "This is such a beautiful school, Talen! I'm sure you just love coming here. I sure would! Look at all these people, do you know everyone? Man, if I knew this many people, I'd forget their names!" He awed, head turning at every noise. While he walked with Talen girls were constantly turning to look at him and they'd either giggle or stare. Abel didn't seem to notice as he continued to point out all the awesomely amazing things he saw to Talen.
"Oh! What strange fashion! Do those guys trip over themselves or do their pants ever fall off? I'd be so worr-" He stopped when he saw someone come close to them and wrap an arm around Talen's shoulders. Abel looked to him and smiled politely. He remained quiet, surely not wanting to interrupt a conversation. His hands scratched as his head and he took a slow breath, something about this new guy made him uneasy. There was a strange air around him, something that told Abel to stay away.
"Princess?" Abel echoed, watching Cain warily. "Heh." He looked away nervously and put his hands into his pocket. His mind said to keep eye contact, while his emotions said to run away. "Yeah...I'm..." He glanced to Talen. "Cool." Though he wasn't cold...so why he'd say he was cool was beyond his reasoning. "I don't feel very cold though...this jacket keeps me warm."
Again he watched Cain, trying to keep from bolting and going back home to Alice to cook something or clean. "Your sister must have very good male fashion sense then." His smile beamed genuinely, either not getting that what Cain had said was an insult, or knowing full well and shooting the insult down. "Though, I shouldn't judge a woman based off how they dress. A lot of them do dress like men, most of them wear jeans and t-shirts. America is definitely a free country."
After a pause he blinked and held out a hand. "I do apologize, I haven't introduced myself. My name is Abel, it's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance."

((More than two? WHAT IS THIS INSANITY? Jeepers. It's like I'm on break. HAHA.))
Talen watched Abel shift uncomfortably and felt a stab of anger. He narrowed his eyes at Cain as he let out a raccous laugh.
"OH! HE'S GOOD! Talks like one of those fags offa those science videos. Looks like one too." He smacked a knee with an open palm. "This kid is a laugh riot. Where did you find him?" Cain shook his head and laughed some more. "Did he get his comebacks where he got his clothes? HA. Jesus, where the HELL did you find this kid?" He looked at Talen and trailed off slightly.
"Lay off the guy, alright?" Talen said sharply. He was baring his teeth.
Cain seemed to know to lay off. He punched his friend and ruffled his hair. "Alright, alright. Cool it, cool it. Don't get your panties in a twist, Talen." He flashed him a toothy grin.
Talen seemed to lighten up, but still seemed edgy. "Yeah, just saying. He's with me, so lay off him."
Cain lost his smile briefly. "He stickin' around all day?" He shot him a meaningful look.
"Yeah."
"After classes?"
"Probably."
Cain pressed his mouth so thin it looked like a scar. "... I'll see you at lunch."

((LOL))
Abel's eyes darkened ever so slightly as he felt Cain's amusement prickle his spine. His muscles tightened and for the first time in a long time he felt a sense of anger in his gut. With his lids closed he breathed through his nose and let the boy's laughter melt off him, not allowing it to rile him up. "You shouldn't say your savior's name in the same sentence as hell. And anyways, you'd be surprised the people you find in Hell." He looked back up, his eyes suddenly intense as he studied Cain and Talen.
As Talen talked to Cain, Able turned his head away and looked to the students, still listening to the conversation, but acting like he didn't care. In the sky he say a flock of birds flying over head, and finally, since being here, he wished to join them.
Just when Cain said his good bye, Abel turned around with an supposedly genuine smile. "Perhaps at lunch we can get to know each other some more?" He waved as Cain walked away. Abel felt his muscles relax and his eyes significantly got brighter as the negativity washed away. "What interesting friends you have, Talen." He spoke a bit less tensely and he flinched as a bell rung out. "I don't want to lie though...his got a dark air to him..." With a concerned look he pulled at his vest and looked to where all the students were walking into the school.
"Are classes starting?" A smile finally made way to his face and he tugged Talen's arms. "Let's go, or you might be late!"
((Hahaha. Abel...angry? That might be kinda scurry.))

((WHEEEEEEEEE.....))
Talen shot a look at Abel, but his look softened. "He's not a friend." He said bluntly as Abel waved him off. Talen didn't bother to wave.
Cain smirked as he walked away, eyes glinting as he vanished into the crowd.
"But forget him. He'll lay off you as long as you stick close to me." As the bell rang Talen rolled his eyes a little. "Yeah, yeah. Class. Okay." He said as Abel tugged his arms. "We'll go, alright?" And he smiled more like himself.
With that he drug Abel after him into the building and made his way to his first class, and probably the only one that made him come in the morning: Music. It was a large band hall with an assortment of students lounging on chairs, instruments on their laps. An ancient piano sat in the middle, a teacher like figure buzzing around.
Talen stopped by a chair and steered Abel into it. He propped his guitar case next to him as well as his backpack. He left his sheet music under his arm. "Alright. First class. The highlight of the tour, really. This is REALLY my bag. You won't be let down by this bell at least, huh?"
"TALEN. Get down HERE. We can't really start class without our piano player, can we?" The teacher called.
Talen rolled his eyes slightly, but was grinning. "I'll see you during the break, huh?" He leapt recklessly down the seats to get to the piano, inspiring some laughs from the surrounding students.
"GAH!" A nerdy boy cried out as Talen swung slightly from his Tuba. The girls in the choir rolled their eyes, but a few spared some fleeting smiles for the rambunctious youth.
"Sooner rather than later, TALEN." The teacher cried shrilly as Talen made it to the bench and scooted himself smoothly across. He spread the music out before him.
"Yeah, yeah! I'm here." She flashed him a charming smile and cracked his fingers. "And I just wanna dedicate this song here for my good friend, Abel... WAVE TO THE PEOPLE, ABEL!" He called up. And with that he began to play a ridiculous tune, flourishing notes and dancing on his bench like a real showman.
It was very obvious he had a knack for music, and it was more obvious it was something he was passionate about. He grinned up at Abel as the teacher glared at him.
"Seriously now, Talen... the music show is in a few weeks and here you are... goofing off." She couldn't help but smile a little. "To the real thing now, shall we?"
Talen halted in his crazed playing and grinned back at her. He nodded and pushed back his sleeves with an eyebrow waggle at the girls in the choir. With her count off, he began to play, and the rest of the class followed.
((OKAY. THERE. EXCITING. He plays like every instrument ever, btw... BECAUSE HE LOVES IT.))

Abel was completely thrilled as he walked the halls with Talen. When people looked over to him he'd smile and wave or even say a polite hello before Talen dragged him off again. "What a quaint little school you go to! The people seem very friendly, indeed." When they got to the first class, his heart skipped a beat when they walked in. A lot of kids were sat down in chairs and their were instruments everywhere. His eyes instantly looked for the string instruments. As a child he had grown up learning to play the violin, than after going to the world beyond, he learned to play the harp, as well as a few others, though Harp and Violin were his expertise.
"I love music! I know how to play a few things." He smiled like a kid in a candy store, allowing Talen to put him into a seat. "Oh of course! I'm so glad you like music too!" He nodded and leaned back a bit, glancing around him to look at the other students. As Talen moved towards the piano, Abel rubbed his knees a bit and smiled to someone looking at him. His stunning eyes flickered towards where instruments lined the walls, trying to find a violin or harp.
That was when he heard his name called and he flinched, looked to where Talen was sitting. He felt his cheeks heat up and he lowered his head, looking up slightly as people looked over at him. As Talen played, he marveled at how passionate the boy seemed as his fingers danced across the keys. It made him happy that there was something Talen could truly love. There was something about having a passion for one thing that made life truly amazing. It gave Abel some sort of hope that making Talen walk on the right path would be a bit easier than he at first imagined it.
Abel smiled back at Talen when he grinned up at the angel. As the class started playing, Abel slipped from his sit and quietly went into the storage room, still in search for a harp or violin. There, sitting in the corner, covered in the dust, was an old harp and not a small kind, it was a beautifully large one. Abel jumped a bit in excitement and hurried over to it. The music in the background made everything perfect as he started to dust the musical instrument off. "You're a gorgeous one..." he whispered and pulled over a chair to sit properly.
"Let's see..." He pressed his shoulder against the large, curved, beam and spread out his fingers. As he closed his eyes he could imagine the hazy, bright light around him back in Heaven. There were people quietly minding their own business or watching him with amusement, waiting to hear him play. Hans was behind him folding his arms and watching intently, waiting to correct him on anything. A few minutes passed before Earth no longer existed, and his fingers began to swim across the delicate strings, beautiful chords and tones leaking from the abandoned instrument.
There was something otherworldly about the sounds that emitted from the storage room. The harp, of course, sounded like a harp, but the way Abel played it made it more than that, and the song had a strange calming, overwhelmingly peaceful affecting to the surrounding atmosphere, as if anyone who listened would feel perfect with the world.
((Hahaha he kinda HAS to play harp. Come on. Anyways, the harp is such a beautiful instrument. D: ))

((Hhahaha, I hate the harp XD None of the music is interesting :C ))
Talen continued on through the class, playing through the songs for that winter's concert. Of course, every once in awhile he'd break into something free style, but otherwise he seemed to behave, oddly more so than usual the teacher, Mrs. Trump, would note. It was hard to tell with a kid like Talen what he would do. He was one of THOSE kids, promising, but never properly encouraged or maybe with a troubled home life leaving him unpredictable and prone to bouts of rebellion or spells of insubordination... though when she did meet his sister she seemed awful nice.
There were few teachers who trusted him enough to let him do as he pleased as he did in his music class... but Mrs. Trump supposed they were something like kindred spirits... or maybe he just made her think of how her husband used to be.
Weren't they something like that at his age? Maybe even worse off. He was a good kid, and most knew it if they gave him the chance.
"Alright, Talen." Mrs. Trump said at last. "Break time. I don't want to see your face for ten minutes."
"Love you too, Denise."
"Don't CALL me that." She said with a shake of her head. "It makes me look bad." Clapping her hands she turned back to her class and dismissed them as well.
Talen grinned and jogged from his place to visit Abel in the closet. "Hey!... ech. Whatcha playin' that old thing for? It's so..." He waved a hand, "... Martha Stewart... I don't even think Martha Stewart PLAYS the harp... what does that say about you?" He joked with a broad smile. Somehow he seemed in a better mood after playing music.
