Adding little sprinkles for holiday lights, Kaimi admired their creation. "I think... is it done?" She wasn't sure. People always said less was more, and the house already looked fantastic as far as she was concerned.
"Together." Mara said firmly. The big fat man was a little bit scary, and scary things made her a bit aggressive. It was possible that her new friend might need protecting.

Bishop eyes the house carefully, it had windows, a gated yard yard and a nice roof. It looked pretty much done to her too and she nodded. Still the girl reached out with a small piping bag filled with icing and put a small B on one corner of the house. " It's art so you have to sign it " she explained.
Andrea smiled and walked forward to sit on the man's left knee, her blue eyes watched him carefully trying to see if his snow white beard was real or not. She sat very still and then smiled foreward so the helper elf could take a picture.

When Bishop was done, Kaimi took the piping bag and put a K on another corner of the house. "There!" She sighed with satisfaction. "Our masterpiece is complete. "
Mara scowled suspiciously at the fat man, but sat on his right knee. At Naomi's hissing prompt, she paused in her scowling long enough to smile for the camera. Then she glared again. "Listen, Santa. I want a puppy. You better get it for me or you're gonna be sorry." There. That sounded about right to Mara.

Bishop grinned and looked at Kaimi " We should let it dry a few minutes then we can take it back to the others. I Hope your sister doesn't bite it" Even if gingerbread houses were for eating that would be weird.
Andrea tried not to laugh at Mara's demanding tone. Somehow she should have guessed the other blond wouldn't ask nice even if she didn't bite. " I'd like a nice doll but not a girly one." She piped up before any real trouble could start.
Santa looked carefully at both girls " If you behave and are good girls you might get what you asked for on christmas. But you must behave."
next to the man in the red suit another elven helper reached into the large red sack and pulled out two packets of a candycane taped to a small carton of crayons. she waves them at the girls to lure them away from the man.

"You should probably take it home to keep it safe. It'll get ruined at my house, Mara will break it." Kaimi grinned a little.
Mara scowled at the Santa, just aching to sink her sharp little teeth into him. But she didn't. A puppy would be really fun, after all. Instead, she took her candycane and crunched it up without even unwrapping it.
Naomi gave Carol a little grin. "I'm amazed that that didn't end in disaster. I should probably take my two and head home before Mara forgets how to be good." She had seen the way the girl was attacking her treat. It wouldn't be long before all hell broke loose.

" Ok I'll try not to eat it unless I get really hungry" Bishop promised.
Carol nodded , seeing Bishop head her way with a gingerbread house covered in enough sugar to give you cavities just looking at it. It was time to get the kids home, fed a solid meal and then possibly suggest quiet reading as opposed to demolishing a house made of sugar. Also Bishop looked like she needed a bash to get glitter and paint and dried on icing off herself. " Best of luck see you again soon."

Kaimi gave her friend a careful hug so as to not hurt the ornaments or the gingerbread house. "New Years for sure!" She whispered, then took Naomi's hand.
"See you again!" Naomi chimed, bundling the girls up and heading for the door.
