Elizabeth nodded toward Dr. Fionn before she felt the delicate hand of the Miss Fionn take hold of her wrist, leading her toward a door that sat off to the side. A quick glance back toward Dr. Fionn and she sighed, turning back to listen to Freya. "You have a beautiful name," Elizabeth said to the girl and smiled too, though it might not have been as bright as Freya's, nor as real. Smiles on Elizabeth's face were rare around strangers, and they would be even rarer on the journey into space until she got used to the notion of being on such a high-class sort of job.

When they entered the room, once again, it looked to Elizabeth like every other room in the space craft that she had seen so far, but it didn't fail to astound her at the grandeur that such a simplistic design could create. She watched carefully as Freya pressed button upon button, and screen upon screen popped up before her. Sure, Elizabeth had seen things like this before, but not in real life, and it took her by surprise. The two Fionns truly did put everything into this craft. It was almost surreal.

When the girl exclaimed that she had found the missing people, she walked up to her, staring carefully at the screen.
"Hm, amazing... Absolutely amazing," she commented as she looked down at Freya, her eyebrows furrowed in both confusion and astonishment. "So, where to now?" she asked the girl, awaiting to be pulled along corridors, through doors, once more to find the two men.

When the guy she approached earlier apologised for ignoring her, she turned to look at him breifly. "That's quite alright, it's easy to get absorbed in the beauty..." She trailed off, sitting in one of the sleek silver and black chairs. To occupy herself, she started messing with the ends of her long-ish brown hair, pulling apart at the random split-ends.

"I suppose we simply stay here until the Doctor shows us the real way around. It looks like a maze." She said quietly, her brow furrowing slightly. She had little idea how the place was actually constructed. It could take a while to get used to all the neat little corridors. Then again, the craft seemed very efficiently designed. Sighing silently to herself she took a seat as well, crossing her legs and losing herself to thought. Dr. Fionn, somehow her father knew of him, or of the lab, or of both. For some reason he put the location where a person could find it, with enough looking. She was ascertain that her father was not here with them however. It seemed very confusing, like trying to solve a puzzle where half the pieces were missing. She sighed, reminding herself that the mad search for him was supposed to be abandoned. She had to remember, or she would lose her nerve.

Jacob followed everyone elses lead and sat down as well, once again brushing his hair from his eyes. He chose a seat on an end as it afforded him a good view of everyone while at the same time allowing him to dose off if it was necessary. Scientists had a way of doing that to him. He shifted in his seat and his hair once again fell in front of his eyes, slightly frustrated, he brushed it back again and thought for a minute. "Should have gotten a hair cut when I thought about it last week..." he mumbled aloud.

Jacob began to have a mini flashback in his head as he awaited his orders. He hadn't really had time to prepare as he was quickly taken from his fathers research station in Nebraska to his current location in less than a night by military personel. "He is doing important work there son..."he remembered his father telling him. "You'll be of great help to him. I just know it." He replayed all the events in his mind. His mothers tears as he said goodbye, his fathers prideful smile, even the generic goodbyes he exchanged with the reseach team he had been working with the last several years. And of course the painfully long ride the in the incredibly hot truck that seemed to overheat more than what should have been possible without the thing actually catching fire.

He slowly began in to slip back from his daydream as he heard Dr. Fionn say "Each one of you though, will have a specific job that you will need to carry out during your duration on this ship..." They were finally getting to the important stuff. Jacob was happy for that.

"We're off to find this person is where we are off to now," Freya exclaimed as she encased Elizabeth's wrist within her palm again and dragged her off towards the entertainment centers, a frown on her face. I feel sorry for whoever I find first, she thought as she started down the long hall, a long window that stretched down the hall beside her.
She suddenly remembered that she was supposed to be giving Elizabeth a tour while on her trek to kill find someone, so she slowed down a tad 'till she was walking beside the silver haired girl much like herself.
"Well, Elizabeth... to your right is the first room. That one is room number one, and then the next is three, all the way to fifty five... seeing how if this is successful, we'll be taking more along with us by the time we get back," Freya explained, pausing before she continued. "This side is odds though, so the other is evens, and right after room nine, the hall for the entertainment centers is there, where we'll be going to find a certain pink haired bas... man," she coughed, cutting off the 'b*****d' and replacing it with a more appropriate word.

Dr. Fionn cleared his throat before he started on the listing for the jobs. "Some of you will have two, seeing how this is quite a big ship and there's few people to operate it." With his finger, he pressed a barely visible button on the table beside him, causing a blue transparent screen to pop up, very much like the one Freya had operated moments before.
"Voice recognition," stated the womanly voice throughout the room.
"Dan Fionn," Dr. Fionn replied, not caring that he stated his full name, knowing that it was the first time anyone else in the room had heard it. A screen popped up in response, and with his two fingers, he made a motion to make it larger, showing the names of all ten and their jobs listed beside them.

Liesel stared at the screen, re-reading her name and title over and over again. 'Celste Captain'. Somehow it made her feel as if she were suddenly important in a way. The woman nearly ignored the second half of the line. She caught it than. Engineer. It seemed almost like a perfect post for her, oddly enough. Just how well did this 'Dan Fionn' know her? She hadn't recalled ever really speaking to him, she simply arrived one day, out of the blue, because of her father's information. It was a puzzling thing, how this all worked out. She was confident, however, that she would be able to do this, and do it sufficiently well. Just as she had done everything else in her life. And than she noticed the technology.

It derailed her thoughts. It was extremely advanced, a holograph projector. Immediately she felt the need to disassemble the pieces and tinker with the machine as if it were a toy. Almost unnoticingly she reached a hand out to the machine, but than drew it back quickly. She clenched her hand into a loose fist and tried to figure how such a thing could be designed and put together. Suddenly she realized that the person who could answer her questions about such mysterious technology was standing in-front of her. "Dr. Fionn, how did you come by that projector?" She asked, almost murmuring.

Niamh had the oddest feeling of being watched- or followed. Both? He wasn't sure but shaking the feeling away, the male brought his attention instead to the room he had eventually found himself in. To say that he was in awe would be a complete understatement. The place was divided into three sections, he could see and from where he stood at the entrance, it was a well stock entertainment room with it's pool table and dart board to it large size TV and accommodated seating. However- what caught his attention was the bar located to his right.

"Just what I needed, a nice drink," he said aloud and made his way towards it. Running a hand along the top of the elegant oak bar, the piece of paper that was attached to the center caught his attention.

"Don't go Overboard?" Niamh read and had to hold down a laugh. Che. As if anyone wouldn't although he suppose who ever posted it did so with good intentions. It would surely not be right if everyone on board were to get drunk on the first day of this trip. 'Whatever,' he thought and brought himself around the counter, hazel scanning about then to see what was in stock. 'Everything' immediately came to mind as he noted from the vodka bottles to different sort of brandies and with everything else that was needed to concoct a number of different sort of alcoholic drinks.

'Perfect,' he thought with a smirk. Pulling his bags over his head, he place them to lean against the side of the counter before getting his hands busy. As he have had some experiences in bar tending- Niamh had no trouble in finding the things he wanted and as he was in no mood to make something complicated, he settle with making a simple Blue Lagoon. A delicious drink that could be had anytime- or so it was in his opinion anyway.

Pouring vodka and curacao over the ice that he had place into a highball glass, Niamh then filled it with the lemonade he had just made and added a cherry on top to finish. "Done," he said aloud with a satisfied smirk. Inserting a straw, he brought the drink to his lips. It was cool and refreshing and for a moment, he allowed himself to relax a bit although he had the strangest feeling that his little relaxation wouldn't last for long.

Freya sprinted into the entertainment center when she saw the door ahead of her, dragging Elizabeth along. "YOU!" she exclaimed when she saw the guilty pink-haired man downing an alcoholic drink. Freya picked up the nearest thing next to her, it conveniently was a marble from a decorative feature, and chucked it at the glass that he was tilting up. It shattered the glass in his hands and caused the drink to spill all over, causing a mess on the floor.
"Astraea! Please clean that up," she shouted as she rushed towards the man.
"Yes Miss. Fionn," the computer responded, and soon, the floor on which the spill was, was flipped around at hyper speed, leaving the tile upside down, yet looking exactly the same with out the spill and shattered glass.
"YOU!" Freya shouted again, as she poked the man in the stomach with her finger. "I don't understand why you think you can go off on your own when my uncle clearly stated that you should wait in the lobby room for him. And then you go off drinking alcohol on the take off day? Who do you think you are? You already got off on a bad note with me when you came in late and even though Elizabeth here was late, she was nice and didn't go off wandering like a little five-year old and listened to directions. I should rip out your stomach right now and take back that alcohol. You, I swear to god, I am going to get you one day, and even though Dr. Fionn likes you, that doesn't mean I have to," Freya scolded in a rapid voice, sounding more like a sped up tape than a human yelling at someone.

"Hm," Dr. Fionn pondered, rolling around the question in his thoughts. "It's funny, I would have thought you would have asked about your position as captain for Celeste, but your question is fine, too," he pointed out as he gave her a dazzling smile. "As for the projectors though, I made them myself. They don't quite yet have this technology yet, but NASA is close to having it... I can show you how to make them one day if you're interested," he offered as he placed his hands in his pants pocket.

Ly realized quickly that he was a man who always thought before he spoke. She analyzed him carefully while he pondered, while she was certain they didn't know each other well, she could at least absorb his mannerisms. He spoke after a few moments pause and she was caught off-guard by his smile, it nearly made her blush like a schoolgirl, she caught herself however, and quietly listened as he continued on. NASA, he said. How very interesting, he must be brilliant. Or at least, more so than she thought he was. He offered to teach her. She was struck by such an offer, learning how to make such a thing... It was almost too amazing to think about. "Of course I would be interested." She struggled to keep her voice from becoming too excited. However, the Celeste did hang over her mind. What was it? "Although, perhaps you should tell me about the Celeste first, and my other roles as an engineer."

Dr. Fionn's eyes brightened at the mention of Celeste, his other pride and joy. Celeste and Astraea were truly the only two things that could make his heart soar with love and care, for they truly like his own children...
"Well, you see, first off, Celeste is a section of Astraea that breaks off into a smaller ship. I designed it to be an examiner ship, for when we pass by a comet and we need samples of the rock. Also, it's a combat ship for if we ever run into trouble. You never know if there can be other life out there, yeah?" Dr. Fionn explained with a slight pep in his tone, as if he were talking about his favorite candy store. "Since you have more advanced knowledge in aerospace technology, it would seem as if you would be the most fitting person to operate it. I'll show you how to operate it soon, once we take off. As for the engineering," at is introduction to the new topic, he took his gaze off of Ly and scanned his stormy gray eyes over the other astronauts that had been assigned the same position. "It seems as if many of you that I chose to come on this journey have experience in engineering, so in order to keep my Astraea in tip-top shape, I have chosen you all to form an engineering team. Depending on the type of engineering experience that you have, you will repairing that part of the ship. For instance, Ly here has experience in exterior engineering, therefore, if the outside of the ship needs repair or tuning, it's her, along with Mr. Christainson son who will be the ones fixing it. Mr. Alexander, if something inside the ship were to break, it would be you who would fix that. And as for Mr. Macgregor who is off wandering the ship somewhere," God save him from Freya's wrath, he thought quickly before he continued. "He will be repairing the computers if a bug happens to get in them, which will be unlikely to happen, but you can never be to cautious."

"YOU!" he heard the feminine voice exclaimed, and glancing upward, he felt as if his worst nightmare was heading his way. A demon, was what he would call her and as the glass shattered in his hand and fell to the floor, Niamh was a moment startled before he regain what little composure he had left. Minding not his bleeding hand and paying no heed to the suddenly cleaned floor, he watched in an amazed daze as the woman went on into a torrent of rants, her tiny finger poking at his stomach.

Growing amuse by her actions, he slowly relaxed his once tense shoulders and silently waited until she was done talking. Reaching over, he then grabbed her poking hand with his uninjured one, fingers gripping tightly about her wrist but not so hard to bruise, before pulling her closer to him and lean slightly forward to bring them eye to eye.

"How vile that mouth of yours is, lady," he said in an overly sweet and polite tone, a smile then gracing his lips. "You should really learn how t' tone it down a bit." He chuckled softly then, a sly look upon his face. "Better yet, I believe that lips of yours is better off remaining quiet." With quick movements, he leaned farther down and gave her a quick peck on the lips before letting her go completely. Hoping to topple her off balance at his sudden action, he made a grab for his bags and dashed out of the room, making his way then back to the lobby.

Freya's eyes were wide and her face was the color of a fire hydrant, but not because she was blushing...
"*****!!!!!!" she screeched as pointed at the door where the pink haired man walked off. "I'M TELLING MY COUSIN ON YOU!!" she shouted, hoping that he heard her through the thick, metallic walls. I can't believe he...Oh that little... "Astraea!" Freya called, looking at the ceiling.
"Yes Miss. Fionn," the computer acknowledged.
"We have an intruder in the hall, go shoot him with your laser beams," she ordered, an evil giggle bubbling out from deep in her throat.
"But Miss. Fionn, Dr. Fionn ordered me not to harm any of the astronauts programmed into my system," the computer stated, causing a frown to appear on Freya's face.
She pouted, crossing her arms in front of her chest. With a scowl, she stated, "Fine, but I still want you to shoot laser beams at him. Just don't kill him... and singe a little of that hair that's on his head."
"Yes ma'am," the computer finally conceded.
That evil giggle bubbled out of her once again, as she thought of the man jumping around, trying to avoid the burning beams. "He'll regret ever placing his vile lips on my perfect ones," she stated childishly as she grabbed Elizabeth's wrist again and went out the opposite door into the even side of the ship.

He spoke like a man who cared deeply for his creations, proud of what he had managed to construct, as proud as a father was of a daughter who'd gone to Yale. Ly caught some of that pure enthusiasm and was soon just as joyful to be listening to him explain the Celeste as he was explaining it. As he told her that the Celeste was basically a smaller ship designed to collect rock samples and engage in combat. She could barely believe that was she was in charge of. It seemed to her like a hefty task, but again, the confidence returned and surged through her veins. This is what she'd studied for, well, not exactly, but she did have the qualifications, just as he'd said. Again she back-tracked, how did he know how skilled she was? It was a strange matter, one she would have to bring up if they were in private, and it seemed like that would be soon. He talked more about the engineering, this time to the rest of the team. Exterior engineering, that meant she would obviously be outside of the ship for maintenance. Liesel wondered how she would be doing that. It seemed like the Doctor was doing a Q & A at the moment anyway, so she asked him again. Better safe than sorry. "How exactly would I be venturing out of the ship for repairs and the like?"

Down the corridor he ran, laughing softly as he did so. However, he stopped soon enough as that feeling of unease overcame him again, sending a vibe up his spine that told him something bad was going to happen. Coming to a complete halt, Niamh glance up and down the hall, wondering if something or someone would popped out and began to strangle him.

"Ugh," he said with a shiver. "I feel as if I'm in some sort of sci-fi movie." Sighing and leaving it to his overly active imaginations, he tighten his told upon his bag and began walking down the hall at a casual pace. Niamh didn't get far though as he felt something shoot pass him, singeing the tip of his ears and some of his hair. Winching, his hand immediately flew to his ear and he rubbed at the abused spot.

"The hell," he softly exclaimed and glanced widely about, wanting to know where the beam had come from. Seeing nothing out of the ordinary, a thought then came to him. The ship was alive, he remembered and an image of the girl calling out to it came to mind. "Che. That bi---." His words were cut short as another beam was shot at him although reacting quickly enough, he managed to dodge it in time- or so he thought when he noticed the singe on the sleeve of his shirt.

"Ahh! Stop it already!" he shouted, growing annoyed. As he waited for another attack and none came, he took in a deep breath, feeling somewhat relieved but not just yet relaxed. Glancing from either side of him, Niamh began his descent down the hall once more, all the whilst planning his own little payback.
