(Pfft! Man, I find it hilarious my random little game involving the addition of single lines has turned into a minature paragraph writing about seta and sonic RUNNING as detailed by Jade and Clutch respectively. Kudos to you guys |D)
As Seta neared the waterside, there was a large eruption and without warning the watter bubbled and turned into boiling hot lava.

Sonic was dumbfounded. The smile still plastered on his face, his eyes went slightly blank. I....He....But....
No. You know what?? Screw this!!! He veered off to the left slightly, as he knew where to find something that would help him greatly. The vault is around here... He nearly missed it, but caught it in his periferals in the last split second. He hopped forward onto the ground and summersaulted into a spin dash, bursting through the low streangth vault and out the other side. His figure was enveloped a faint green, the light emulating from the large gem he had snatched from it's hiding place. His speed increased greatly, boosted by the power radiating from the Chaos Emerald. Yes!! The last one for my collection! At those words, the green glow became so extreme it nearly blinded everyone around. A split second later, a huge shock wave of energy burst from the hedgehog, revealing shimmering gold fur, bright red eyes, and enough confidence to drown half the continent. Not to mention power to match. Now, let's get it on!!The transformation over, Super Sonic streaked toward the water, catching up with Seta just as th sea filled to the brim with molten lava.

At that very moment, drawn by the sound and kicked up dust from the race, decended a third. The dark glowing hedgehog rode a hover board,catching up, and maintaining speed quite easily, Chaos energy trailing behind him. Three can play at this game. said his dark, booming voice. Dark Ethan had joined the race.

Just as the 3 made it to the shore of the lava a giant humanoid lava monster 20 stories tall rose up from the sea. YOU WILL ALL PERISH BEFORE MY POWER!!!!!!

Woah!! Super Sonic smirked at the monstrosity. He stopped his progress, bringing his screaming speed to a dead standstill in a fraction of a second. He let out a brilliant green wave of Choas energy, creating a force field that the other two couldn't pass through. Hey!! What say we take ten second time out and get this dork out of our way? Mopping up the floor with him shouldn't take any longer than that!

The lava monster reared back and shot a stream of pure Liquid Nitrogen from his mouth, 5 feet in diameter, in a sweeping motion at the three.

After the nitrogen froze on the bubble of Chaos energy, Dark Ethan rose off of his Extreme Gear, his crimson eyes flashing. This will be a piece of cake. He placed his hands at his side, about three inches from eachother, and began to charge energy into them. His face tensed as the energy ball reached it's limit, and he threw his hands forward, releasing the energy in a powerfull beam that pierced the center of the liquid nitrogen spewing lava monster.

Just to be a party pooper, the lava monster gagged and screamed bloody murder, squirming and doubling over as if he was about to die when...
10 seconds later he was done pretending and stood completely erect with an manical laughter while screaming something along the lines of "F00LZ! I C4N07 B K33L3D 4 I AM TEH 4LM!GH7Y F33R OF ALL L!TS! TEH F!ZIKAL 4m OF N00BZ0RZZXX!!!11!!!11oneone!!!"

The grin on Super Sonic's Quickly faded into an annoyed frown as the beast straightened himself up, laughing like a crazed lunatic into the sky. The slightly annoyed expression then became highly irritated scowl as it began to rant. Dude. Seriously. What a jerk. You just had to fake death for ten seconds, just to rain on my day? Well, let's see how funny you think this is! Super Sonic launched upward and sucked a great deal of chaos energy into his body, using it to boost his speed in ridiculous ammounts. He plunged into the monster's chest, did a couple of loops through his inner lava flows, carving up the creature's insides before expolding out the other side with such massive force he took half of the monsrosity's back with him. but Super Sonic wasn't finished. He flew upward, spiraling around the head of the hideous monster, only stopping when he was directly above it. He aimed his hands down at it and began making a bubble of chaos energy to encase it's head. Once the bubble was complete, Super Sonic spread his arms open, and with all his consentration on this one thing, slammed them back together, instantaniously compacting the chaos bubble around the creature's head. The Lava Monster flailed his arms madly, all coherent thought replaced with primal fear. Super Sonic's eyes closed, his face betraying the strain that holding this force field was having on his nind--as well as his body. A crack suddenly raced across the surface of the chaos shell with a thunderous boom. Super Sonic's yell of agony could just be heard over the deafening thunder peal caused by the fist crack. The first of several. More cracks bagan to show, each one taking a toll on Super Sonic. Then, with another thunder peal, the entire chaos shell split down the middle, front to back, sending a blow that sent crimson into the air as blood ran down Super Sonic's face from his nose. NO!! Dangit!! Hey you, faker number two! Get your blue butt over here and gimme a hand! I CAN'T HOLD THIS TOGETHER ON MY OWN!!!

Dark Ethan once again launched a beam of energy at the monster, adding to the energy held within the bubble, and taking some of the pressure off of Super Sonic. The cracks eased, and the monster continued to flail wildly in pain. Heh. You look like the 'faker' from where I'm floating, golden boy.

Having no where to go, Seta thought quickly. If he didn't do something fast he would burn to death instantly in the lava. Both of his opponents could fly, giving them the obvious advantage. With a flash of his sword, he plunged his blade straight through the nearby opponent's flying machine (the hover-board.... he's from the Meiji Era...ranging anywhere from October 23, 1868 to July 30, 1912.... so naturally he doesn't know what a hover-board is). Seta hung from the bottom of the machine and waited for an opportunity.

With the help of the other hedgehog, Super Sonic managed bring solidity back to his chaos shell. Focusing his energy into his hands, he hurled it at the monstrsity's head, compacting the shell even more. OK, Speedy Gonzalas! It's your turn!! Get up top of that thing and lean it toward us! Then put that pig-sticker of yours to work!!

Seta got up onto the top of the flying machine and it started to move forward, toward the lava creature. He heard the hedgehog yelling at him and making some kind of reference to a hispanic cartoon mouse. He leaped from the flying craft and used his Shuntensatsu on the fowl beast, disassociating his head from the rest of his body.

Super Sonic gave a yell of releif as the severed head fell with monsterous crash into the molten magma below. He felt somewhat drained, but the feeling only lasted for an few seconds. His super charged body recovered almost instantly from it's weakened state.
Ready to rip it up some more? Let's get this party started!!
With that Super Sonic poised himself into a ready position, pointing back toward land.
With his momentum gone, this guy's gonna have to get back on dry land if he's gonna keep racing! And Short Dark and Brooding can't keep up with out his board...
What say we get back to dry land so we can continue our little contest? Soud good?
He didn't wait for an answer, just assuming they'd agree.
Great! Let's go!
