Naomi was speachless. Well not entirely. "ARE YOU KIDDING???!! WHAT KIND OF CRAZY PLACE IS THIS???? I AM SOOOOO PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW!!!" she screamed to no one in particular. She groaned in utter anger then began jogging down the path of the guy who had ran into the forest. Now way was she going to let this go. Not now when she had finally found her link. When she broke through the trees the boy was huddled around a camp fire...inhaling the flames. She gave up she would NEVER completely understand this. Defeated she sat on a fallen tree log in front of him with her arms crossed. Fire was both a pleasure and a worry for her but even its bright flames couldnt warm her. It was getting late. She began to shake not only from the cold but also as hopeless tears came out of her eyes. She was just confused.

Naomi remembered the day she lost her parents. She had just gone to her friends house to spend the night nothing should have happened while she was gone. But it did. When she had stepped through the front door it was unusually erie and the house had a horible smell about it. She had gone into her parents bedroom to look for them....when she noticed the blood. Blood was in splatters everywhere and the furniture had been destroyed. She looked to the ground where she saw their broken lifeless bodies. Then she had heard a bloodchilling scream...only to realise it was her who was screaming. The police had arrived to find a shivring 11 yearold sitting devotedly by her parents sides just waiting. Naomi thought of that day anytime she was cold and boy was she.

Someone was hear, Dasani jerked his head sharply towards the girl that was watching him, she was staring at him witha shocked expression. Millions of thought rushed through his head, but all he could think of was the tears running down her face, "Why are you crying?" he asked her, his voice deep and calm his tone almost caring in a way.

Danasi looked at her, she was so different form other beings he'd met, not human, or Viampair, or Loupe Garu, just something else, looking into her eyes he could sense it. "Well, I could tell that some things happen for a reason," he replied, "But we both know that's a load of baloney, I guess they were in the wrong place at the wrong time, and thing went from there."

Danasi shuddered, she really thought he was going to kill her? "Kill? You?" he said, his rich voice tinted with suprise, "Gawd no, why in the world would I do that?" Just the though of spilling her innocent blood gave him chills.
