X-2 was ok I enjoyed it, it was good for closure... afterall X left on such a nasty cliffhanger. I liked the Good Ending that made the game worth it. But in my opinion X was leagues ahead of X-2 heart

I didn't mind x-2 but the characters were just different (Yuna mostly) but I guess that comes with a territory but still, X was just better, I've always noticed that i don't like sequels as much as I like the original, they're never as good.

i think X-2 was just a way to experiment with the FF series more differently, but it deffinently made X look really bad

X-2 to me was just a totally different beast than X. I did enjoy the game, and I knew it wouldn't be nearly as epic as X, but I really loved the battle system and job system. To me this was the pinnacle of the FF job system.

FFX was so much better than FFX-2 i mean FFX had a good story to it and FFX-2 jumps story to story

This really depends on what you like within a Final Fantasy Game.
If you like the constant fighting and job changes, you would like X-2.
If you like a better game, you'd like X. Simple as that.

The only good thing about that game was the gameplay. Everything else was horrible. Yuna's a slut, Brother's a f**, and the supposedly 'cool' character (Paine), gets in a WATER FIGHT! Ya, that's serious.

not to be sexist but i think FFX2 is great for female FF fans but i didnt get a lot of joy in playing the game.

I wish I could truthfully cast my vote in this forum, however, I've never played X-2... I've refused to up til lately. I just saw all the characters the I had been playing with up to that point being butched into fan sevice. I really couldn't take it. Though now, I'd liike to play through it. My friends have told me that despite the painfully cheesey open and first half of the game, the storyline and the darker second half make it very much worth playing. What do you guys think? Should I play it or just let it stay as the one FF game that I've never played?

It was a lot easier to get gold in X-2 (Lady luck dressphere--random slots)
and closure was nice, plus the X final boss was lame(A giant tick???c'mon!)

Well Yuna being a slut kind of sucks, but other than that I loved 10-2. I got it before 10, actually smile The gameplay in those games is extremely different, and Yuna's personality is different, but other than that I like them both.
