Well, pretty much when I first join Gaia (which was not too long ago, yes, I'm still a newbie), half the time spend on the net would be going here and posting on forums... I really don't know other ways to earn gold except posting but it's kinda fun here. I really wish I have enough gold to purchase some cool stuffs.
2nd would be youtube, then facebook and then I'll just bloghop around.

i'm a tumblr.com addict. i spend most of my time over there. gaia of course. also, but not limited too: amorgames.com, facebook.com, flickr.com and google.reader which i use to read about eighty bazillion news/comics/blogs/funny/porn/video websites because i'm easily bored and have a lot of time on my hands.
