She turned bright red. "U-um...t-thanks.." She looked down at her shoes.

((ahh, sorry i went to go see a movie))
Kaori looked around her, everything was booming all around her, she saw the sweat pouring down the faces of the nurses as they checked to see if her vitals signs were all in check, she stared through the nurses and saw that on the other side of the room was another bed, with a boy on it. she shook her head and pushed all the nurses away, she had to get out of the room, it was too loud!
"I-i'm fine! please, just let me out." she said meekly.
After another few minutes, Kaori was walking on her own out of the room, but not before she stole a glance at who her roommate was. Just another kid. She pushed up her broken glasses and walked out the door with her hospital gown on. She walked along until she got to a hallway where she heard voices. There were other people here too. she peeked over the corner and check to see who it was.
i wonder who they are, she thought to herself.

Jerry was sitting up from his bed, after Kaori left, he slowly got up just a few minutes after. his current blood pressure was low so it took a while for him to register things in his head. It was as if his mind was racing forward while the rest of the world lagged behind.
why is everything going slowly, and where am i? he thought to himself as he watched a doctor take his pulse and removing all the wires attatched to his body.
