((Bumpity bump bump...))
The man Gedis held ran screaming and Gedis shrugged. She looked around the bar as men sat frozen, staring. So much for not causing any trouble, but maybe she could avoid the angry mob.
Gently she picked up Alice's hat, breifly dusted it off and placed it on the girl's head. She walked off towards the nearest forest, thinking to hunt before she got too hungry.

Alice quickly took her own leave as well. She wandered off to find a more peaceful place to obtain food. She walked towards the woods were she found a few eatable plants and herbs. She eat quickly, not wanting to be caught off guard when she was so tired. Scrounging around for food always made her feel less than human and it really bothered her, but there was not much she could do.

Gwen sighed loudly and probably more obnoxiously than she needed to as her sister pulled away mumbling, "I'm fine now, I can walk on my..." and then watching her stumble into a wall. Then she turned to face the man who had been following them. "So what do you want?"

"I really need to work on my stealth." Erik sighed. "I was simply walking around, and I happen to have been following the same path as you. I did not want you to recognize me, I have too many enemies." It was a flimsy excuse, and Erik knew it, but maybe it would get him out of here quickly.

"That was a flimsy excuse. AND you know it. Anyway, just go away. You're going to attract people. I have enemies, too, so leave me alone. Come on, Anna. We're going." Gwen grabbed her sister, who was now intently counting flagstones, by her wrist, and dragged her along as Anna noticed Erik for the first time. She waved politely, then turned and ran for her exuberant sister.

By the cover of moonlight, Gedis hunted.
Her heavy clothing was left in a pile by a tree, all she wore -and needed- was a loose sleeveless shirt and some shorts. Nature had provided the rest. Light bounced off the deep green scales covering her arms and legs and the moonlight made her pale smooth flesh seem almost marble-like in comparison. The soft light made her eyes glow and her claws shine. If you looked closely behind her you could see a tail weaving anxiously in the shadows.
Finally what she had been looking for had stumbled into view. It was the man from before, his skin green and his eyes nearly rolled into his head. He stumbled on, oblivious, before dropping to the ground, his lips blue.
Gedis laughed- a dry rattling sound that was half hiss. Some of the nastier germs in her spit had taken effect, the man wouldn't last much longer.
She flowed towards him as his struggles grew weaker. The man opened a bloodshot eye and drunkenly muttered "Whos' there?"
"Nothing you need to worry about..." Gedis crooned. It seemed to calm the man, whose eye rolled into his head. Eventually he stopped twitching and only then did Hagedis feast.

Erik smiled. Hah! They probably don't know it now, but my enemy does hunt them. But who will they join? If all abominations are like this, then perhaps I should kill them now and spare myself the trouble. But, that's not my style. "And could someone come up with something better to say then "Abomination"? Hate using that word." Erik whispered. Whether they liked it or not, Erik was going to follow them. Erik wasn't thrown off the scent that easily. Erik waited until the two had rounded a corner, and then he set off following them.

Gwen managed to drag her sister a couple blocks, aware of the man following them all the time, but eventually had to sit down with her sister at a bench in a park. It was a wide open park, with nowhere, even shadows, for their stalker to hide. As she watched, her sister emerged from her little miniature world into the Anna people knew.
Anna blinked. "OK, I feel like I just got stoned. I didn't....did I?" She looked at her sister's disappointed face. "Oh, s**t..." Anna stared out at the open space. "And we're being followed, aren't we? Oh, god, I feel like I've been somewhere else this entire time. How do I manage to do that? And why can't I ever do it when my boss is talking at me?"

Does she really think you can beat me just by forcing me out of the shadows? Come on. Erik walked over to behind the two girls and tapped the one who had told him to leave on the shoulder. "Boo!"

After hunting Hagedis felt quite refreshed, so she decided to find the girl who saved her.
Wandering to the park she scouted the bleary grounds. The heat had scourched and withered the plants to a bleak and dreary state. Gedis felt quite at home.
Then she saw them. The girl that had saved her scaly hide and the lady that had accompanied her.
"Hi. Thanks." she shouted across the field. "Can I come closer or will you be offended?"

Anna noticed the girl and Gwen noticed the guy.
"Hey! Yea! Come on over." Anna stood and waved, a (probably) universal way to say 'Hey, I think you're worth waving at. I like you, so come on over.'
Gwen turned to Erik, now half pissed. "Alright. I asked you before, and I'm gonna ask you again:why are you following us, and don't you think it's a little irritating to the people being followed? Because, I swear, I will let Anna loose on you. And did you see what she did to that man in the bar? He just didn't die because he was big, and he had a lot of blood. You don't have enough. If I let her on you, she is strong, and she will kill you. Now leave off, before I lose my temper."

Erik laughed. "Do you really think i'd still be alive if I couldn't handle someone as weak as her? Do you know what I've had to fight just to survive?" When the girl didn't answer, Erik continued. "I'm following you because i want to. And if you lose your temper, then i welcome your challenge. It'll be target practice. And if you think you can kill me, or that the little girl can kill me, then we'll see if either of you could last a minute against me."

Gwen stared the boy down for a couple seconds, then spoke. "How old are you, boy? I'm guessing about 13 or 14. See my sister over there? She's 20 years older than you. She's spent more than your lifetime pumping weights, learning to fight, and how to not take crap. And you think you could do anything to her? Do you honestly want to TRY?" Gwen sighed and shook her head. "Go home, kid. I've got better things to do than have you tag along. Like getting laid."

Serena looked about the place and shrugged. "No clue.. Perhaps people just like to start things up when they're drunk. And perhaps, we are all testy with these coming days..." she said softly with a sort of contemplative expression on her face. Looking back tot he girl she smiled. "Paania, is it? Pretty name," she said with a small laugh before sighing and turning to her brother. "Nathan... Where do we go from here...?" she asked him softly. Sure, she was the fighter, but Nathan was more the brains in the operation...
Nathan smiled at the girl, shaking her hand gently. "it's nice to meet you," he said to her with a nod, also turning his eyes towards the door in surprise. "Hm, I've no clue. In general, I think men are jerks, especially when under the influence of alcohol... and definitely when around beautiful women," he said, nudging his sister playfully once more. "Maybe you should wear more clothing next time," he said.
Hearing her question though, he paused a moment to think on it. Where would they go? He couldn't quite remember where it was they were supposed to go... But maybe... "Hey, Paania... What are you up to? Where are your feet taking you?" he asked her curiously.

Erik was about to laugh. But wisely, he held it in. "If you don't mind, I have much more important things to do then talk to a slut. Good day." Erik turned, perfectly ready for what would logically happen next, the woman would lunge at him, and he would turn around and whip out his sword.
