She sighed at Alice's remark and replied to Erika. "Fine, Alice, but you do look porclain." And back to the other vampire. "Well, in a way she survived. She got changed right after my birth, otherwise, she would have died and then he probably would've killed himself," she gestured to her father. "We have a big family, yes, and wolves... Well, maybe we can get Jake here to tell you the story tonight," she said looking to him hopefully.

Jacob nodded his big furry head at the girl, who met his eye with some hesitation. 'Edward, I'm gonna go phase human.' Jake thought absentmindledly as he swiftly loped behind a tree. He felt it was time to do some talking of his own. After he'd pulled on the cut-offs tied to his leg, Jake returned back to them. "I'll be more than glad to tell you how this happened once we settle down." Jake gestured at the circle they created, an odd mix of creatures. ((Thank you ^.^! Just trying to do my best to be Jacob..))

"Brilliant," Renesmee said. She always loved the legends. They often helped her fall asleep at night even if they were sorta frightening that time. She gazed up at Jake and asked him, "Should we go back to the cottage first or will it be too crowded do you think?"

Edward nodded and got ready for a story. "I'm up for another Quilette legend. It's always interesting to get their side of the story."

"Sounds interesting," said Erika with a smile. She loved stories and liked to past her time thinking up her own, just to provide entertainment. Sometimes they helped her figure her way out of tough situations but most of the time it was so she could give her mind a workout.

Jacob nodded. "Ok, so home it is, and I'll tell you all about the magical wolves and their relation with the vampires." He grinned, then turned to Nessie. "Race ya home?" Obviosuly he would let her win; but she was pretty fast too.

Bella felt Edward grab her hand, and she smiled. She then giggled at Alice's rant. "Don't worry, Alice. Edward does the same thing to me," she said, then playfully nudged Edward in the side. Bella looked back at Erika when she asked if Bella had survived. Bella had expected that reaction, seeing as years before, Nahuel reacted the same exact way. She smiled in Erika's direction. Bella wondered how she would have ended up if she hadn't known her mom growing up. She guessed that she would end up pretty much the same, and she may have even met Edward earlier. Bella's smile grew wider when Edward made the 'normal' comment. "Yes, we aren't that normal. We also don't feed on humans," Bella informed the girl. Bella saw Jacob run into the forest, and come back out in his human form. "Quiluete legends? Great, seems like fun. As a matter of fact, I don't think I've ever heard you tell them, Jake. This should be interesting."Jacob and Nessie had decided that Jacob was going to tell the legends in the cottage, and Alice's earlier question entered Bella's mind. "Oh, I almost forgot! We'd love to have you stay at the cottage with us, Alice. Hey, but don't you all think that there would be more room in the main house? Maybe we should stay there...," Bella said, thinking about how cramped it would be in the cottage if all 6 of them stayed in it. Bella's head perked up when Jacob said 'race'. She turned to Edward, and flashed him a smile. "You want to race me? I know you let me win last time," she said, grinning at the memory of their last race. Once Bella's newborn strength had died down, she had become slower. Not by much, but she was slower than Edward, and knew that she had no chance against him in a race.

"You bet!" she said excitedly. Then she said slowly, "One... twothreego!" finishing quickly at the end. Renesmee was fast but not as anyone else was. She wasn't asfast as her father, or Jake or even her mother. She passed upthe cottage and went for the main house as Bella had suggested. She knew Jake was a little farther back and she ran faster, faster and she threw herself on the grass giggling before the main doors.

Jacob turned to Erica, "You're welcome to join us..." He began, not wanting her to feel left out, but then Nessie began a countdown and he flashed a quick grin, then took off with Nessie. He lagged behind her just slightly. Watching her run with that beautiful determined expression... his face broke into a huge smile as she reached the gate just before he did. Roaring, he grabbed her around the waist, "How do you dare to defeat me at running?" He demanded, laughing.

Erika grinned when she heard the words 'running' and 'race'. She loved to run. Just the feel of the air on her face as she ran lifted her spirits. Removing her black shoes, she started off, relishing in the feel of the grass beneath her toes. She was not as fast as a full-vampire but she was fast and she knew it. When she saw renesmee and jacob in front of her, she came to a reluctant halt but tripped on a stone that had missed her line of vision. She tumbled onto the grass, laughing as she spread herself out on the lawn.

Bella watched as Erika took off running after Jacob and Renesmee, and watched her trip over a rock and go tumbling in the grass. Bella forgot about her offer to race Edward for a moment, and she ran over to the girl. Bella saw that she was laughing. "Are you ok?", Bella asked in a concerned voice. She stuck out one hand as a helpful gesture. "Do you need any help up?" Even though Bella was helping the girl, she couldn't help but think back to a time when she was so clumsy that she should have been disabled. Now, though, that she was a vampire, she was one of the most graceful of them all. Ironic how things turned out, isn't it?, Bella thought to herself.

The three of them were all grinning and laughing on the lawn trying to catch their breath. When Renesmee did, she just smiled waiting for somone to say something. She wondered what Erika would think of the legends. She already was taken aback by so many other things today. Or it seemed she had. She waited for some one to talk.

Jacob, still laughing, set Nessie down. His eyes turned to Erika, who tripped and tumbled in the grass. Bella, of couse always helpful, reached down to help her up. Grinning, Jake reached up to touch the top of the gate. Then he swiftly vaulted himself up and over it. "I'm making myself hot cocoa and then let the stories begin!" He announced grandly. "C'mon you guys!! I love telling the stories!" Jake threw the gates opened, then bounded into the house. The stinging smell; he was used to it by now. And of course, they kept stocked up for food pretty well recently. Especially with Nessie and Jake there all the time. He hummed to himself, making his chocolate, then went to sprawl himself on the largest sofa. Although he'd probably be told to move. His eyes roamed, looking for Rosalie. He had a new blonde joke; but oh well. Maybe she was out hunting.

"Thanks," replied Erika as she took Bella's hand with a smile. She stood up and sighed happily. "Ah, I needed that... uh.. not the tumble... the run," she mumbled sheepishly with a nervous laugh. Nonetheless she smiled again at Bella.

Bella smiled at Erika. "Your welcome," She said. Bella released Erika's hand, then smiled at her again. "No need to be nervous." Bella laughed when Jacob helped himself to the food in the main house. Not that she minded, but it still amused her. She then laughed even louder at Jake's impatience. "You go on ahead," she said to Erika, "I'm going to wait on Edward." Bella then gestured towards the house, and went back to Edward. She grabbed his hand, and started tugging on it lightly. "Come on, we have to hurry or else Jake's going to tell the stories without us," Bella teased him. She then waited patiently for Edward to respond.
((Where's Edward now? lol, I was the one being called on last time xD ))
