I completed Logan's quests today. When you have to take the items to the windmill, you'll get attacked by a Massive FLOCK of Flying Gift Boxes. I didn't manage to kill a single one (but when you have so many of them killing you so quickly there really isn't any time to fight back).
I used both my turtle (4) and ghost (2) to survive long enough to complete the quest. Then I died and went to null, and then returned to Logan for my orbs.
Have fun everyone. I always like the little bit that I can play during the week because there are fewer people around. (of course I might not actually be able to play this week - priorities, but maybe next week)

I'm totally stuck in the sewers. Apparently, there's a glitch right now as no one could get out. crying At least, I met some really nice people while playing tonight so I'll keep playing. wink

You're not stuck any more!!! Have you made any more progress? I'm still not playing. (Must Prioritize... want to play... No! Can not succumb... must focus...)

I'm presently finding the quests in Gold Beach nearly impossible. So far my experience there is that (this batch of players tonight) people didn't want to crew up for anything but their own quest. I only found one person to help me but we both kept dying. The monsters up there are really tough (at 5.9), and they are always in groups. The fluffs attack with a quicksand thing that stops your movement while hitting you repeatedly (so have something with some good distance - like Solar Rays - on so you can kill it and break free). Also, for some reason, my attacks seem to miss frequently and so it takes forever to kill a monster. It doesn't work out very well since the anchor bugs do 90-100 damage and sand castle golems do 110+ damage. When there is more than one golem and more than 3 anchor bugs, that means I die really fast (especially because I have no help to fight them).
I managed to get my Solar Rays up to level 9.

I hope more people notice the new poll. I'm the only one who voted in it.
I managed to get my Solar Rays up to 10 and my Hack up to 6. When I have my (all level 3) Angelic set on, with my Solar Rays (10), Shuriken (7), Slash (8.), and Diagnose (5) my over all CL is 6.5.
My current quest is to cross the lake in Otami Ruins, and all those monsters are orange for me. I saw a crew who were all in the 7s and asked for help, and they just told me No. I'll get my new buddy arch to help me with my quests later I think. So I end up just going back to Bass'ken lake to farm some more, or I find someone I know who is still completing quests at one of the other levels.

I've been off ZOMG for a little while since all the kids on their breaks are bogging the thing down, but I'm still stuck on that damn doll. I'm nearly level 4, but I can't get orbs for the life of me. Even the never-ending quests on the farm....ended

Maybe the doll is broken again. I tried to help Saphire with that last night and she never spawned.
For orbs you're in a great spot. Drop your CL to 3.5-3.7 and get with a crew to hunt drums or lanterns. (lantern hunting is great!!)

I have managed to get my Solar Rays, Slash and Hack all up to level 10!!
My newest quest is the Stone Coatl (big nasty rock snake in the Throne Room of the Otami Ruins).
I couldn't finish Jerry's "Returning Regular" quest because even though I got Peter to leave the clearing, the soldier George wasn't talking to take him back. There are a lot of threads right now talking about this glitch, so I'll just try again later. When I finish that I can finish the set of Mark's quests.
In the Otami Ruins ring drops are level 5! That is so cool.

Well kids! I'll be logging on in about an hour once I've had a coffee, done the washing up and taken the dog for a wee!
I'm all the way back in Village Fields doing the Barton Quests that missed, not sure if I should bother or just crack on with the newer stuff.
If anyone's online and fancies meeting up I'd appreciate the company!

I've barely been able to play since it's the end of the year so I'm still going after gnomes. Hopefully, in 2009 I'll make some serious progress and hook up with some of my clan. smile

The only Kokeshi Collectible that matters in Zen Gardens is the one that pops up right in front of the chest after it closes.
Kill it and the main Kokeshi doll should come out and mop the floor up with your head, like it did to me and my wife repeatedly. razz
Best option for CL is a minimum of 3.8 or so, otherwise get a crew or at least do it when many others are there attacking also.
If you get Dazed during the fight don't leave back to the null chamber because you'll still get credit for the quest if someone else kills it. You have to be on the same screen as it when it dies to get credit.
