"I worried you? Allen, you were coughing blood." He looked at Allen in concern again. Did he not realize how much danger he had been in? Lavi knew he would have recovered, but Allen was a living thing still, he could easily die. Lavi pulled Allen to himself, he didn't like thinking of that.

Allen blinked confused. "I was...?" the question came out before he could hold it back. He didn't recall that, just falling asleep next to Lavi, nothing else. Shaking his head he tried to calm himself down. Was he that sick too? He couldn't understand.
"Lavi... what is happenning, to me?" he asked taking small shallow breaths, his heart beating faster.

Oh no, what was happening now? " H-hey, moyashi, calm down, your havin a panic attack." When he noticed Allen wasn't calming down, he decided to think fast, and pulled Allen to himself, rubbing his back and saying comforting words, all the while panicking on the inside. 'Please be okay.' He thought, still panicked. He hoped Dino could figure out what was wrong, and that he was a bit near too, Lavi feared he might need some help again..

Allen sighed and shut his eyes tight. He tried to take deep breaths and think but his mind was empty. Maybe it was better off empty anyway... A miracle... god... please a miracle to take his pain away. Another curtain pulled itself down revealing a nother dark patch of his memory. Even so this only caused him more pain... more pain... "L-Lavi..." he gasped, his hands clenching into small fists. "There's something... something I can't I can't grasp. Something that always flutters in and out of vision, constantly, the one moment it is there the other it's gone again..." he sighed again, exasperating. "I want to know. I need to know. I feel like it's important... too important." he had said this once before, it was the first day after he finally awke to himself. 'Something vital... missing...'

*You'll get it moyashi, i'm sure you will." He mumbled, even though he himself was unsure. He was also curious, could it be the memories of him that plagued his dear friend so? Or could it be something else. "Do ya think it's of your past life?" He cradled the boy close, afraid he might flee.

Allen heaved yet another sigh. "I'm beginning to doubt it, Lavi..." he mumbled, dropping his head low. "I don't understand why some memories seem just so smudged over. It makes me insecure to think I might misunderstand so many things..." he stayed quiet for a little while, concidering the other's question. He felt comfortable where he was right now, and was it not for his thoughts he'd already be asleep.
"I think it's of you." the words slipped past his lips before he could think them over, before he could concider their impact. Blishing fiercly he looked up, fearful of how Lavi would interpret his words. He didn't want Lavi to feel like he loathed him, or make him think that it was his fault that he, himself, was like that. How did those words make their way in his mouth? Why? Why now? He couldn't understand anything -and yet, it was there, dancing like a fleeting dream in the half-light just outside his field of vision.

Lavi nearly pushed away from Allen when he said that. "M-me? But ya just met me Allen." It disgusted him slightly he could keep up with that lie, but he didn't want Allen to become well, a mess, if the revelation that Allen was thinking about Lavi came to light.

Allen nodded his head, he still looked up at Lavi but his eyes were empty. "I... feel... a deep connection..." the words suddently wouldn't come out fluently, as if someone stole them away from him while he tried to speak. "between you and I..." he mumbled in a colorless tone of voice before slumping forward, his body numb and lifeless like a doll's. A few feathers of his wings had turned a bit silver at the tips, but that wasn't something one would notice.
"Lavi... what am I to you?" his voice was still colorless as he tried to fight the numbness back, his body not quite willing to listen to his mind's will, like the last time he had a sudden glimpse of insight and tried to tell Lavi, a few days ago... it was as if something from the inside was trying, fitting, not to let him find out what was really going on...

The most important person to me. "A very important friend." he replied, worried about Allens sudden limpness, but complying to answer. He sat Allen up, looking him over. "Allen, you gonna be okay?"

Allen shivered as he was sat up, his body still felt lifeless and out of his control. "H-How..." he was going to ask how important when he felt nauseous again. He forced himself into silence while a violent tremble rushed down his spine. His eyes glimmered feverishly as he simply sat there, unable to do anything. A few tears formed at the edges of his eyelashes, threatenning to slip and fall but he woouldn't let them. He winced, trying to overthrow the unpleasant feeling of being able to do nothing away from him.

"Allen.." Lavi pulled the other boy closer, stroking his back and whispering comforting words. He could bear to see him like this, especially when he wasn't sure of the problem or it's cause. He hated how he could only sit there and watch as Allen suffered. "please..let it be over soon."

Please let it be over soon... Slowly, yet steadily Allen started feeling slightly better, as if Lavi's wish had been granted. He heaved a sigh of relief and gently pulled away when he felt he could do so. Fixing his wings in a better position behind him he smiled at Lavi and shrugged. "Thank goodness!" he exclaimed. "It felt awful!" and even though he smiled there was a cloud of doubt cast upon him. What was hapenning to him? Was it because of his connection to Lavi? Was it because of the other dark patches of memory he had? Was it somehting else...?

Lavi was hardpressed to believe Allen though. " Are you sure? Maybe you should lay down and rest." What if it happened again? Lavi didn't know what to do, and he didn't know if it would stop. Please, don't let it happen again. He thought, looking worriedly at Allen still.

Allen shook his head. It felt alright right now so he kept smilling, just like that. "I am fine, yes." he nodded his head. "All I've been doing as of lately is rest. Maybe it's better to keep like this a bit." he shook his head and looked around. Everything was so quiet, once again. As if the whole house was sleeping, minding its own business while the two just sat there. While they just sat there... doing nothing... Doing as Lavi suggested anyway, Allen laid his head on the other's lap instead of going to the bed. Lavi's warmth was so very comforting and he hoped he didn't mind sharing it a bit.
"Lavi..." he mumbled after a short while. "Do you remember what you thought the first time you saw me...?" it was an awkward question, however Allen had to pick something to talk about and even though reminiscing wasn't the best he could do... it was sure more pleasant that talk about one's death...

He did remember, but he couldn't tell Allen that, instead, he thought of the second thing that had come to mind that day. 'I thought of how lonely you looked, and I wondered why you were alone." He had fixed that though, hadn't he? Since it was Allen he was talking to, that wasn't very likely.
