As soon as all the lights in the town were off, Moon cantered towards it, making her way to the ranch. She walked cautiously through the streets, her senses alert to anything and everything. She reached the fenceling of the stable and nickered softly.

((Well its nighttime..My two charachters are asleep, Seth is up at that ranch a few hours away and I dunno about anyone else))

Chaska had been dozing lightly and her head shot up. She returned the nicker and trotted over to the fence. She sniffed at Moon and pawed at the fence.

Saphire was grazing in the pasture with Chaska. Seeing Moon, her ears pricked foreward and with a low nicker she nickered back.

Moon's ears flickered slightly as Chaska sniffed at her. She sniffed at the mare in return, and nickered back to Saphire. "I'm Moon...and you are?" She asked quietly.

"I'm Chaska, or at least that's what everyone calls me." She tossed her head and trotted over to the gate, she pawed at the gate her hoof making a soft clinking noise. "You think you could get this open?"

Moon nodded. "That's a lovely name." She lowered her head and inspected the gate and lock. "I'm not sure...maybe..." She began nudging the lock with her muzzle, trying to figure it out.

"I only ever get out of here when they open the gate. There's no one to play with without War here it's boreing." She leaned against the gate. "Where do you live anyway and how did you get out?"

"I'm Saphire." She said walking up to Chaska and Moon. "You live in the wild don't you? I sure miss being out there.." Saphire snorted and gave Moon a soft nuzzle. Even though she enjoyed the wild where she was first born, she adored her new home and she especialy loved Jane.

Moon snorted. "Who's War?" She asked Chaska. "Oh, I don't live behind a fence. I don't really have a set home, I just wander where I please. It is very lovely, although I'm a bit deprived of company, so I decided to explore this town tonight." She replied to both mares.

"War is the stallion that lives here. He went with his human somewhere." Chaska pushed against the fence, wanting out so she could play with the other mare. "How can you not live behind a fence?"

Moon pondered her question for a minute. "I do not know. I was not bron behind one, I refuse to be behind one, and if I am ever put bhind one, I will fight my way out." She stated pointedly. She then remebered a man and stallion galloping up the road earlier. "Oh, is he the stallion that went a ways up the road, the bay? I saw him earlier." She said, then continued fiddling with the gate.
