Kaitlyn stood up after finishing, "I'm not saying that, I'm just saying it was self defense because I heard you take out your knife. As long as there is moisture in the air, I can almost hear anything!" Kaitlyn made an icecycle out of thin air and started sucking on it. She let out a hand to help Aang up.

Aang raised an eyebrow, glancing at her hand before accepting it. "Then why didn't you hear how much noise you were making?" It was a lesson for the bat demon, she needed to pay more attention to herself. "So, what now?" she wondered aloud.

Kaitlyn looked at Aang, confused, "I was hardly making any noise, only a bat demon could hear me." Her face showd how disgruntaled she was. She then sat on the log inwhich she had hid in before.

Aang managed a laugh as she reached back, carefully running her hands along her wings. She knew that only a break could cause this amount of pain, but she couldn't see where it was. She muttered a curse, as every touch created a blanket of pain, that her fingers could not feel through. As a demon, she had a fast rate of healing, and if the bone healed improperly she would be flightless for eternity. A hiss slipped through her lips, immediately after her fingers ran over the uneven bone. She bloodied her lip as she bit hard into preparing to set the bone.

Kaitlyn's face disapeared as she cocked her head like a cat, "Is anything wronge miss bat?" She wasn't trying to make fun of Aang but she had no idea what her name was but knew she was a bat demon. Her eyes blinked and gave a stare like a puppy would.

Aang's violet eyes flared as she glared at the girl. She was an idiot! Why did she have to be the one Aang had to deal with? "I have to set this bone before it heals." She snapped, before turning her attention to the wing again. Relief came slightly when she finally lined up the bones. "If you want to help, go find a stick or something."

Aang laughed mockingly at her, "You've done enough damage already." With on hand, she was attempting to hold the bone in place. Though she was trying to hold completely still, her hand continued to move minutely, causing the pain to rise and fall. With her free hand, she reached into her fourth dimension, finding a set of chopsticks and bandages. She closed her eyes, focusing almost entirely on setting the wing, as she laid the chopsticks along the wing. Carefully, the bat demon began to wrap her wing, letting the bandages run mostly horizontal and a little diagonally so lessen the restriction on the wings. She need to get home. Without her wings, Aang's fighting abilities were cut in half. She also lost a means of escape. With an irritated sigh, she put the remaining bandages back into her fourth dimension.

"What is it," Kaitlyn started," Miss batty kat, why so annoyed?" Kaitlyn was now trying to see how much temper this bat demon had. If the demon was short tempered, show would know it was a gaurd in discised. She formed ice to make a gaint ice fist around her hand. She started liking it.

Though the bat seemed to be focused on fixing her wing, enough of her senses were focused on the girl. She may have gotten hurt before, but that was because it had never occurred to her that an ice demon could freeze body parts, let alone would. She wasn't willing to let it happen twice. The instant she sensed the temperature dropping, Aang turned sharply towards her, ignoring the pain the sudden movement caused. Thankfully, it did tell her that the wrappings were secure. Her hand slipped into her fourth dimension as she spun, so she ended up with both scythes in each. Cocking an eyebrow at the fist of ice, she snorted, "So, you play the apologetic Samaritan one second, then attack me from behind? No wonder you're in hell."
((That's fine, have fun. Oh and by the way do you have a gold oval hairpin? I'll trade you black reading glasses for one.))

[[I don't think I do, and I already have reading glasses, I need to edit my signature, sorry about the misunder standing.]]
Kaitlyn paused, thinkging her next words carfully, "I am in hell because I had a tramatised life and death. That is the only reason why I'm here." She didn't try but her voice came out in a hiss. She glared at this bat demon that was infront of her. "I attacked by instict and help by my greif, did you want frozen legs forever?" She said with a scowl.

((That's okay. If you want to send back the black reading glasses I sent you, you can, it's up to you.))
Aang laughed, her dark eyes emptying, "Do you want pity?" Her long golden hair fell around her as she shook her head. "Listen here," leaning close to her, she said in a mocking tone, Everyone hates being here. That's why it's hell." She let out another humorless chuckle before walking off. Though she doubted the ice demon would attack her, she still walked diagonally, keeping her in view.
The bat demon was well aware of her vulnerability. Not only could she not escape if she was over her head in a battle, it hurt every time the broken wing shifted. The pain shot through her, and even the frequent punishments the coven gave her were not enough training. It distracted her, and she knew her chances of succeeding in a fight were low. So she increased her senses as much as possible. Her footsteps were nearly silent as her ears searched for any sounds. Her eyes darted around, and occasionally she clicked loudly to see if any obstructions were in front of her.
((Do you know that there is a blind boy who uses echolocation like that? He really does click to see what's in front of him. I saw in on the Discovery Channel.))

Kaitlyn glared in Aang's direction. Withouth thinking she caused the particals in the air to freeze and it was like walking in a freezer set to 3000 degrees below freezing point. She tried not the shutter from the cold wave now only around her as her anger slowly cooled. Once it did subside she heard voices and footsteps coming her way. She tumbled over to a sice of the tree as she listened to what they had to say. It was them again. She held her breath as she started julting to a further location inwhich her small dlicate body could be hidden from the men out to capture her for the false accution againts her. She soon found her self at the tree she hid at before and used the liquid in the air to shoot herself up and lied on the branch motionless and silent. She waited for a signal of all clear from silence all around.
[[I didn't know that! XD that is cool! I'll get the glasses to you tomarrow if I have time between the work I missed and the homework I'm bound to receive.]]

Aang had learned to barely cover herself during the winter, and today was no exception. Only a thin cotton wrap and a few bracelets covered her arms, with a glove to hold her razor wired scythes. She only have a vest, a collar and a tie--which she found many demons liked on her covering her torso. Just below her waist, her plaid skirt ended, letting her garters show.
Almost every inch of her was visible, and every inch of her was stabbed with the razor sharp wall of cold air that reached her. Half of a hiss escaped her lips, and she bit them, trying to block out the agony it caused. She flung her hair over her shoulders, at least using its length to cover her torso and arms. She had spent many freezing nights cold on her stone bed, but nothing was like this. She tried to block it out, as she taunted, "That was nice, you know that I'm barely defenseless, but you still attack after I turn away." Her voice was up a pitch, just below her natural bat language, but it still carried far, "You call yourself traumatized, what caused your instinct to attack me now?" She turned, facing where she last thought she was, and mentally slapped herself. She was definitely going to need to go out and kill some demons if she survived this. She was out of practice, and she would need the ego boost.
Her ears searched for any noise, but could not immediately. She was not like Kaitlyn, the sounds she heard had to make it through the air. The cold caused the particles to contract and removed the emptiness between them. The above air also dropped as it lost its heat as well. So it took the men to come a few steps closer, before she could locate them. At first Aang believed they were from the ice demon, so it confused her why and how she traveled so far. There were more than one coming towards her, and it clicked: they were the soldiers looking for that girl. She instantly did not regret making noise to draw them, and instead continued as if she could not hear them, "What are you scared of? That I will fight back? Are you so low that you only fight when I my back is turned? I'm wounded, and freezing cold because of you, but you still hide?" This time she made her voice travel farther. Her eyes scanned the dead forest, searching for the ice demon. One thing Aang was good at, other than sewing, was lying. She perfectly pretending she was still scanning for the girl, and as if she could not hear her pursuers. It was only between taunts that the bat demon even could hear them, so it was a reasonable ploy.
((Yeah, I really love those nerdy shows. And take your time, I really don't want you to fall behind any more than you already have. And just so you know, I emailed Dark Angel asking if she was okay. She's busy with the ending term and such. I'm not exactly sure when/if she's coming back....I sort of felt that would be insensitive. Though I do at least think that she'll be back after her term ends and everything settles down. And that has to be sort of soon.))

[[nice xD I'm almost finished with reading twilight. BEST BOOK EVER!]]
Kaitlyn felt a tear slip down her face and caught it before it could fall to the tree, giving away her position. I didn't attack, she tought to herself, I merely let the anger control me. The chilled air suddenly unfroze, leaving it some what raining. Kaitlyn hugged her knees and then when back to being a statue, but with her tears blending with the rain effect. She thought about it and then disided to find a new tree, away from the rain becasue her position was blown. She soon found a dry tree and sucked the moister out of her clothing and hair and drank it so she would leave no sign of her pressense other than her aura and her ever slight breathing that it was like she was a vampire, not breathing at all.
