5. After agreeing that without a kupo nut, there is probably no way to make it shut up, so they try to get as much much sleep as possible before taking off again in the morning. The next day goes the same as the last for the most part, but this time the group has beds to look forward to at the inn. when they reach the town the group gets into an argument about what they should do next...
1. Pigboar wants sleep
2. Ophelia wants to buy supplies incase they have to leave in a hurry
3. Garm wants to start looking for clues and site see while he's at it
4. They all decide to split up like idiots

4. Since they can't stop arguing, they all decide to split up since each wants to do something different. Pigboar curls up and takes a nap on a bench in the shade. Ophelia goes out and buys supplies in case they have to leave in a hurry, and Garm wants to start looking for clues. Someone has been watching the group as they argued, a thief. The thief...
1. Follows Pigboar to pick his pockets as he's napping.
2. Follows Ophelia assuming that since she's shopping she likely has money or will get something wroth stealing.
3. Follows Garm.

1. Despite the fact that woman looks like she has most of the money, she looks too strong, and out of the two remaining targets the idiot on the bench looks like a good target. This is going to be too easy, he didn't even get a room at the inn, but contrary to the thief's belief Pigboar is not an easy target, he is a ninja. So when the thief's hand enters Pigboar's first pocket he suddenly finds himself thrown backwards into the tree casting the large shadow. Before he can recover Pigboar is there with his katana out and ready. Pigboar...
1. decides this guy picked the wrong guy and attacks
2. starts asking questions

1. Pigboar decides that the thief picked on the wrong guy and attacks, but the thief had rare items that immitated magic spells ((you know, like those items on FFVIII. I hope that's okay. If not, please let me know.)) that he had stolen from a powerful mage. He threw a flare stone at pigboar. Pigboar couldn't block the item and found himself lying on the ground, weak. The thief doesn't want to kill Pigboar...so the thief...
2. Decides to come in with a finishing blow, but Pigboar manages to get up and block it.
3. Decides to apologize to Pigboar and say that he was only trying to survive.
4. Decides to Run away.

4. Like any good thief knows when to run, but unfortunately for him Garm, who came running as soon as he felt the flare spell go off, had just showed up on the scene. Seeing Pigboar on the ground groaning, Garm partially transforms rushes the thief who...
1. is pinned to the ground before he can react.
2. tosses a random stone (not having time to look) and hopes for the best
3. screams like a girl and surrenders when he sees the half monster charging at him

4. Being young, not a child but not quite an adult either, and never liking violence in the first place, the thief screams like a girl and surrenders. He begs for Garm to spare his life, quickly explaining that he did try to steal from Pigboar, but that he never intended to hurt him and that it was Pigboar who attacked him and that he was very sorry. Garm...
1. Spares the thief but tells him never to show his face around the party again.
2. Spares the thief and suggests if he's really sorry to join the party until he makes up for the damage done to Pigboar.
3. Insists on battling with the thief despite the thief's surrender.

2. Garm convinces the thief to join, not only case he can prove his sorrow ,but Garm can keep tabs on him and see if this one is linked to the other thiefs. Now he only had to decide out who to tell first.
1. tell Pigboar hoping he wont lose his temper
2. tell Ophelia first and hope she can help get info from the thief

1. Concerned about Pigboar and wanting to make sure he was okay, and not knowing exactly which shop Ophelia was in, Garm goes back to Pigboar, who is still lying on the ground from the attack, but not so much because he hurt as because he was tired. Garm tells Pigboar that the thief has joined the party. Knowing very well that the thief tried to steal from him, but also that he was the first to actually attack, Pigboar...
1. Refuses to let the thief join the party.
2. Tells the theif he wants a rematch.
3. Accepts the thief's apology and let's him join the party.
4. Let's the thief join the party, and apologizes for attacking him.

2. Pigboar stands up and demands a rematch, but before the conversation can go any further than that, Ophelia shows up. She...
1. asks what's going on
2. throws at potion at Pigboar
3. tackles Pigboar who look like he is about to attack the the guy standing next to garm
(Ok guys, since I think you all have the idea of this thread and I tend to be bad at minor storyline plots, such as the relationships between characters. I am becoming the first official thread crasher "see rules post" in order to make the game more interesting. So I will be in charge of mostly starting boss fights and such. If anyone feel like becoming a thread healer "see rules post" please see me about it. Thank you for your time.)

2. Ophelia shows up and realizes that Pigboar's injured and yet about to fight with a thief, who, despite his reluctance, has taken out his dagger and has another flare item in hand, ready to attack. She throws a potion at Pigboar. Pigboar is healed, but not significantly since it was a regular potion, not a high potion. "Please..." the thief said, "I don't want to fight you..." The thief's words are not warnings, but Pigboar already knows he's a powerful opponent. Ophelia doesn't know what's going on, only that Pigboar wants to fight. Garm also realizes this...
1. Pigboar decides not to fight after all.
2. Pigboar decides to fight, and Ophelia joins him, but Garm backs off, having wanted him to join the party previously.
3. Pigboar decides to fight, and Garm joins him, but Ophelia backs off, not wanting to hurt the boy who looks just a little too young and innocent, though she's not sure what's going on.
4. Pigboar decides to fight, but neither of his party members support him.
5. Pigboar decides to fight and both party members join the fight.

4. Pigboar seeing the expresions on his friends faces he says, "You guys stay outa this. I don't mind this guy joining us like Garm wants, but I want to see some things first" Ophelia relaxes knowing that Pigboar doesn't plan to kill the guy or do anything beyond his normal stupid. Garm on the other hand is still tense, but trusts Pigboar, so he backs off.
"Alright buddy, mind keeping this a clean fight and not using those obviously expensive magical toys against me?"
"The name is Johnathan, and no I don't mind, but I never said I'd join your team. I only surrendered, I never gave any promises."
"Fair enough, we can talk later. Lets fight!"
1. quick result: Pigboar wins
2. quick result: Johnathan wins
3. quick result: draw
4. (describe the begining of the fight)

2: Even though he had pocketed his magic, Johnathan still had some dirty tricks up his sleeve. He managed to win the battle almost as quickly as it had started. Pigboar is unconsious. Garm and Ophelia:
1. Rush in to heal/revive Pigboar.
2. Rush in to battle Johnathan.
3. Run away...
4. Admit that Johnathan won fair and square.

1. they rush in to heal Pigboar. After Pigboar gets up he turns to John and smiles, "Thanks for the fight. Hey, since you are here, would you happen to know where we could find an inn?"
John can't beleive how straight to the point this guy is. "Yea, I know a good one that I can get you into for a discount."
"That's good," says Ophelia, "I spent most of our money on items."
Pigboar looks disapointed. "Really, that's all we have left?"
Ophelia nods, and Garm chimes in, "Well how are we supposed to find this Master guy without any money?"
"Well, I know a way, but I will explain it later. Lets get you guys to the inn."
As the group gets to the inn...
1. Pigboar brings up the Johnathan joining the party issue
2. They pay for a room and fall asleep exhausted from their travels

2. They pay for a room and fall asleep really quickly, exhaughsted (sp?) from their travels. John doesn't stay at the inn with them, but since he had offered to help, he intended to meet them at the inn in the morning, which he couldn't tell them because they fell asleep so quickly, but hoped they expected. He would be there before sunup, just to be sure...Johnathan...
1. Gets caught stealing that night and arrested, making him unable to show.
2. Forgets to show up.
3. Falls asleep and wakes up a little late, suddenly rushing to the inn hoping the heroes haven't left...
4. Decides against helping them and doesn't show.
5. Shows up as planned.

5. ...shows up as planned. When the hero awake they are ready to head out to ask around and look for clues concerning this mysterious master fellow, but are intercepted in the bar level of the inn by Johnathan. When they see him Pigboar remembers that John had a solution to their money problems. When he mentions this John turns grave and says, "Yea, well I was kind of hoping you wouldn't ask, but seeing as you guys really need money... There is a giant sandworm that has been causing all sorts of trouble for this town. For the most part it stays on the beach nearby, but every now and then it gets hungry and destroys a caravan full of food or attack the village outright. The mayor has issued a 10,000 gil reward for it's death."
1. The party decides that a sandworm isn't worth it and tries desperately to find a different way
2. They agree that it may be hard, but they REALLY need the money (OPTIONAL BOSS)
(Oh and can everyone make a habit of checking the rules post every now and then? Thanks guys and girls!)
