Kaelia looked from Magnus to the lake and then back again. It was a nice spot. She now knew that's why her father loved it so much. He never left the beach. Which, she never did ask why.

Kaelia finished off her cakes. She then again looked up at Magnus. "So, what would you like to do now?"

Oh Guardians, there was supposed to be something to do next? Now what the bloody was he supposed to do?! He tried not to visibly flounder even though he was flailing inside his head, uncertain and clueless. Then, it hit him like one of Zeus' lightning bolts. That was what he would do! Girls thought that was really romantic, right? Magnus did not understand the appeal, but he was trying to keep her from realizing his ruse.

"Would you like to take a walk along the sands? Now that evening is settling in, I am certain the horizon is beautiful to behold. Plus, I love feeling the cool sands between my toes." He wasn't completely lying. After all, Magnus did enjoy the feeling of cool sand between his toes. He was just mostly not telling her the total truth.

Kaelia smiled and nodded. "That does sound like a nice idea. Maybe we can even see the sunset. I'm sure that looks pretty by the lake." She nodded again and got up to her feet. She looked down at the nice place Magnus had made and new it would be safe for a bit of time they were gone. She didn't think anyone would take it after all.

Phew! She bought it. That was a bit easier than he suspected it would be. Well, perhaps she was already under his spell. That was perfect! It would certainly make life easier, although he was certain he had already gotten all of the information out of her that he had wanted. What else could this Kaelia be useful for? Hm, maybe this walk would help him find this extra use.

Their things were safe--and even if they weren't, Magnus could always steal Aysu's bag from Aysu and steal the stuff back. The teenage fae got up on his feet and stretched out like a cat, even purring a tiny bit to add to the strange image. "Excellent. I'm glad you agree. Shall we?" He gestured forward to the empty sands ahead of them, where the only sound was the water splashing against the shore.

Kaelia nodded. "Okay, which way would you like to go?" The female looked to the sand and to the water. It was a nice place. She now could see why her father loved it so much and never left. This made the fact that he didn't find her a bit better. Still, this was a date and she needed to take her mind off of such things.

"Why, that way, of course! There appears to be a better view of the lowering sun from that direction." Really, Magnus didn't see all that much of a difference. He was simply looking for a fancy thing to say with a reason that might sound 'beautiful' to Kaelia's ear. It was easy to keep people charmed with smooth words or attention to so-called beauty, after all.

He bowed like a gallant knight and offered his hand to the angelic demon... or the demonic angel... or whatever she exactly was. "Shall we, Kaelia?"

Kaelia nodded. "I think you are right. It does look better that way." She nodded before taking his hand. "How long does it take for the sun to set?" She asked as she began to walk and watch the sky. She didn't think she had ever watched it before.

How was Magnus supposed to know? He tried to keep the frustration off his face, and mostly succeeded, besides for the twitch on the side of his lips. "Ah, it can feel like forever if you just let yourself be absorbed by the beauty of the sunset. Have you ever seen one? It seems that you haven't, which is a shame."

Well, it wasn't particularly a shame--Magnus didn't care about the multi-colored sun--but he had to keep playing his game with the right cards. He lightly squeezed Kaelia's hand as he shifted his attention to the sky, as if showing affection for the angelic demonic.

"No, I haven't really. I was in the cave and there wasn't a view to the outside. And now, well I guess I haven't watched it." She smiled at Mangus as she too looked to the sky. "I'm glad I'm watching it with you." Now it would be memorable. Even if she never saw the guy again she wouldn't' forget who she watched the sun set with.

Magnus would probably find that remark sweet and endearing if he actually cared that much. Instead, it simply proved to him that he won at all things related to love and life. His smile was vaguely smug, but it was hard to tell exactly why. Maybe he was just proud of himself for getting her to like him...

"Well, good. Then I'll always be in your memories." He lightly tapped her nose while the smugness in his grin faded. "I love sunsets. They're so pretty, and I'm glad you're getting to lay your eyes on the beauty of their colors." Sunsets were nice, he guessed. Magnus hadn't actually watched one over the water yet.

"Really? Then I can't wait to watch it. I do like the light. It's very nice." She had been in dark for so long that any kind of light was nice to her now. So much better then the dark cave. Even with her glowing flowers.

The sun was already starting to sat over the water, and he would have to admit, it was a rather pleasant sight. There were certainly worse sights, and certainly plenty of sights without such warm colors. After reaching a spot of the beach he deemed ideal, he sat down in his place and stared up at the sky, much preferring to watch the sun set in the horizon from the ground with the water splashing on his toes.

The faerie tapped the spot next to him in case Kaelia wanted to join him sitting down. Frankly, he didn't care either way, but he did want to extend the offer so it seemed like he did care whether she was comfortable or not.

Kaelia walked over and sat down next to him. She looked up at the sky and watched the sun dip down out of sight. The colors filled the sky and were reflected off the water. It was a beautiful sight. "Wow, it is wonderful! Like the night gets fireworks every day."

This sunset actually was rather nice, but Magnus was not about to admit that he was actually somewhat enjoying the view. He didn't usually see sunsets over water and they certainly looked different when the water never seemed to end.

The remark that fireworks happened every night was enough to take his attention off the beautiful sunset, though. "Hm? There's fireworks every night?" This was something he wasn't aware of, but since he certainly would admit to enjoying a good fireworks show, he was interested in finding out what she meant. Maybe she was just exaggerating the stars in the sky or perhaps she thought comets were fireworks. He was always one to doubt a Pae'il's intelligence.

"Oh, well I meant that's what this looks like. Although, my father does fireworks. You never know when he might to them." Which was true. He seemed to use them for lot of different reasons. Messages, celebrating and other things.
