im 5'7'' and 16 and... idk if thats considered short. my mom thinks so so shes trying to make me eat these asian growth pills, but so far no effect

Well, most asians are considered short, and I fall into that category. I'm a joyous 5"1' if I'm lucky...*hasn't checked my height in awhile* But I'm 18 so I'm pretty much done with the growing thing. -_- Dad's even 6 foot tall....-_-
One of my friends is a whole head and shoulders taller than me though...he's Korean...

i noticed that most of my asian friends,including me,are taller then their parents.so maybe asians are getting taller??? rite now im about 5'7-5'8.my mom is few inches shorter then me and my dad is almost 6 feet tall

most azns are short, but it all comes down to genetics ay. i'm lets see 5'1 i guess if i convert it to feet n inches. dang i'm short ahaha ah wellz, being short has its perks

(: i think our shortness is just normal.
That's why people go "WOW!" when they see like yao ming.

My friend is 5'10" though and he's 16.

and dad is 6'0

well, depends.
for girls, yeah, they're mostly short. (like my mom)
and for guys, they're tall. Well, i am and my other asian friends. lol mrgreen i got my tallness from my dad.

But it's not?
Cause a lot of Asians I know are short.
I'm 13 and about...
5'2".
but my friend is Vietnamese and like 5'9".

On average, I'd say that Asians are shorter than people of other races. It's weird, though, because there are always a couple of Asians that are extremely tall and lanky. XD

I'm tall, but not lanky, but you're right, usually tall asians are lanky, haha.

●●●----Haha. Well... If you're asking if I'm short, then yes, I'd have to say that I am. If you ask me if ALL Asians are short, my answer would be no. Take Yao Ming for example...
Many Asians are of the more compact build though. It's better for gymnastics. And as they say, good things come in small packages. Take microchips for example. ......................................................................................----●●●

asians are pretty short.......well, compared to me they are.
I'm 5'6 1/2".
