Personality: Nick is a shy sweetheart who stutters.
Bio:Nicholas was born to a mother who deeply loved his father, but did not receive love in return. Due to this, after Nicholas was born, she took her own life and left him with his father. As soon as Nicholas could speak, he was beaten because he stuttered. He became shy and did not talk to anyone. He was never allowed out of his father’s sight, but not because he was cared for. It was because he might be taken away from his father, who used the ‘Family Man’ image to get with females. But after every female left, Nicholas was beaten again, for something he didn’t do.
One day, a lioness was ‘enticed’ to his father’s side, along with her son. Her dark color, Long claws and two-colored eyes scared Nicholas, but he was reassured by her son, red-coated with a snake-like marking on his side, that she was as harmless as a flower. Nicholas became fast friends with the cub…and his mother.
The lioness stayed for a while, but flat-out refused his father’s advances. Instead, she lavished all the attention onto her son and Nicholas. He felt secure enough to talk around her, and when he did, she would smile and call his stuttering ‘cute.’ She gave him a red and white scarf, telling him he reminded her of a snowman. This made him happy, and all he wanted to do was be with her…where he felt safe.
But his father was furious. HE wanted the lioness’ attention. HE wanted her to stay with him all the time. Due to his jealousy and rage, every night that the lioness would go to sleep, he would beat his son almost senseless. But all Nicholas cared about was keeping his scarf, a precious gift, safe. But to his father, he was just a tool…that was not working the way it should.
Then, one day, fed up with the lioness and wanting to take her, Nicholas’ father attempted to rape her. Nicholas was at first afraid for his friend, but fear for her, turned into fear of his own life as the lioness promptly disemboweled his father, killing him. But a she was getting ready to leave, Nicholas followed her.
At first it seemed as if she didn't notice or did not care, but as they were traveling and meeting other lions, she introduced him as her son. At this, Nicholas realized that she had silnetly adopted him, and he was grateful. He had a new mom, and a brother.
And a sister.
And another sister.
He wonders how many other siblings he would acquire during his lifetime...but who cares? He has a great family that loves him.
And he loves Xzeliea, who rescued him.
And yes, he still stutters.

Bio:It was a memory. Both a pleasant dream and a terrible nightmare. It was real…it was unreal. But it was there. And she remembered.
Wicca was born into a peculiar pride. Her father, Arix, had around ten mates, and her siblings numbered upwards of twenty, not counting the ones that had already left. Her mother was Arix’s latest acquisition, and as such, Wicca was the latest to be born, and the youngest. She was the perfect blend of her mother and father, but she was small. Much smaller than she should have been. She wasn’t sickly, quite the opposite, but she was small.
Arix lavished love on her and her mother, almost completely ignoring his other children and mates. Wicca’s mother enjoyed the privileges of getting to eat first and ‘alone time’ with Arix. But the other females, as you can guess, did not like this new development at all. They grew jealous and resentful of both Wicca and her mother, Causing trouble for the little cub.
When she went to play, she was either ignored or bullied, the latter happening the most often. If she ran to Arix, it only got worse. Still, she remained positive and sweet, ready to help or do more than her own share when needed. But one day, her life took a sharp turn around an unforeseen corner, and she went from a path that would end in disaster, to a path that was unknown.
Having entered the pride only a day before, a lioness and her two sons had been overlooked until the daily hunt. The only reason she was noticed was that she alone took down a wildebeest. Arix readily welcomed her…but looked upon her sons with loathing as they weren’t his. But he turned his attention and affections to her, his ambition obvious. Wicca expected to be loathed and resented by the trio, but she was in for a surprise.
The lioness’ sons played with her. Not only that, they began to protect her from her half-siblings. The lioness herself, though quite ferocious-looking, was kind and sweet, taking Wicca, along with her sons, on frequent walks. They never said it aloud, but they all enjoyed each other’s company very much.
However, without warning, Wicca’s mother up and left. Without a word to anyone. Arix himself was growing bored of the lioness and wanted to get his thing over with to spread his seed farther. She enjoyed toying with him, making him think he had a chance, only to leave him in the dust at the last moment. Arix was also growing bored of her sons, and of his daughter, who was now no good since her mother had left. So he did something terrible.
He told his other mates that Wicca and her mother were now his only family, and the only way to change it would be to eradicate them. And the lionesses were all too pleased to do so. But they didn’t expect to face…nothing.
The dark lioness had gotten wind of what was to happen, and snuck off with Wicca and her sons. Although Wicca missed her mother, she was all too eager to follow her new friends. But soon, The Dark lioness started calling her ‘Bob’, and Wicca started responding when she was called ‘Daughter’.
Thus, Wicca was integrated into a new family, and had two brothers who she loved dearly. Xzeliea was her mother and her best friend.
And she wondered when a new sibling would come along. And come along they did. Many of them.
