Fonn cocked her head towards Maion as he spoke, but did not open her eyes. She could feel her mane being blown wildly about once more, but for once it didn't bother her, she felt she had no need to care about something as small as that at this moment. She didn't quite understand Maions words; what had she let him see? She had simply played with Maion, what had she allowed him to see that was beautiful around him?

She wanted to ask, she didn't understand, but she had her own thanks to give. She hadn't expected to give her thanks until the night's song was over, but as Maion had given his thanks she figured now was as good of a time as any. "And thank you, Maion. It's been a long time since I've actually sat still and listened to the world around me." She paused, knowing there was something else for her to thank him fore, but she didn't quite know how to put it. "And thank you also... For giving a memory."

A smile spread across Fonn's face as she felt Maion's touch once more. She enjoyed it greatly, he had such a soft and gentle touch that it made her feel at peace. The game of tag crossed her mind for a moment as she pondered Maion. He seemed like he'd be good at the game, strong and quick, but his touch said differently. As soft as it was she couldn't ever imagine him actually tagging any one. The only way to find out would be to play, but as late as it was it would have to wait for another day.

She giggled and let the thought pass from her mind as the nights melody filled it once more. She sat there for what seemed hours to her, but was in fact only a few minutes. She opened her eyes as a lull seemed to pass over the world around her. She sat there blinking for a moment. Lack of sleep weighed her down mentally, though the only physical sign were her lids hanging heavily over her eyes. She turned to Maion, noting how majestic he seemed laying there beside her.

Even so, he was a deep well to her, someone she believed she would have to have many... many meetings with to even begin to say she knew him. She had apparently scratched a bit into him earlier, she remembered the worry and concern that had flooded her mind as tears had fallen from his cheeks. She searched the memory of the evening for the reason for the tears, but she couldn't find it. Was her memory of the night already fading? She, as she watched Maion rest, began to go over the day in her mind. She was fearful, she didn't want to forget Maion or the evening. She remembered Elija, but couldn't remember how she came to meet the little fox. It was all a blur. A soft sigh escaped her lips. If she was to forget Maion or Elija she wouldn't know what to do. Each day for her passed like it never existed, nothing more than her being a day older. But today had happened.

She had thanked Maion already for the memory of this day. She prayed that after they parted ways she could continue to silently thank him, that each day could pass with her knowing that she had met a stallion named Maion, A fox named Elija, and that they had played as friends would. A feeling inside her continued to gnaw at her, telling her she needed to thank Maion one last time, whether or not she remembered anything in the morning. Fonn lowered her head down to Maion's and gently rubbed her nose against his cheek briefly, letting her mane gently flicker as it brushed against his flesh. She didnt know how other soquili would have said thank you, but with her words not being enough to sate her urge to show just how much she appreciated the evening it was suffice.

It was no use worrying though. If she remembered the evening when she woke up it would truly be a blessing, but if she didn't... It would just be another day. She drew away and continued to watch him. She needed rest,but every moment that passed was a moment she could possibly remember tomorrow. Her heavy lids fluttered over her teal eyes as she struggled to stay awake; she had been sitting for far too long, sleep now had a fast hold on her.

A smile flickered over Fonn's face as the warmth Maion's wing brought washed over her. She felt his nose touch her leg, but exhaustion prevented her from doing anything in response. Slowly and steadily Fonn drifted into a dreamless sleep, oblivious to the world around her.
