[Can you explain on what you mean about Talon? Is she a friend of his?]
Talon released Kales arm at the thud on the house, licking stray drops of blood from his mouth. "Kale that's enough." he told him sternly, wanting his arm back.
Kale let go almost regretably. "Fine." He licked his own stray blood, still looking at Kaida. "You go check it out Talon. I'll watch her."
Talon didn't need an invitation, but in an instant he was gone from the kitchen, leaving only a little slight wind. He went to the front door and opened it. "Kima, good evening."
Jasmine was at the last tree before she came into the clearing to get to the large house that she saw, panting heavily to catch her breath. She saw two people at the front door and she was about to go out to talk to them, she heard footsteps and hard breathing behind her. Turning to look, she saw the man she was trying to get away from and quickly ran out of the trees to the two people. "Please! Help me!" she cried out, just barely getting out of the mans reach.
The man yelled at her angrily. "Get back here, wench! I didn't say you could leave me!" he chased after her, still a bit drunk.

Kaida sat there looking at Kale with unique eyes. 'Watch me? What could I do?' She wondered.

Kale just smiled. "Don't worry, I won't bite you unless you want me to." he went through the fridge pulling out a slice of watermelon and bit into it. "So you figure it out yet? I betta you wouldn't have believed us, thinking that we were playing a prank."

Kale rolled his eyes a bit. "Yep, she's figured it out that we're vampires." he said to himself, finishing the watermelon. He sat in a chair, fingering his necklace as if in thought.

Kaida dared look at him, but she did. The first thing she noticed was of course his eyes. She sat there looking at him, probably like a little child.

Kale felt her staring at him, so he looked right back at her without a word.
Talon looked pasted Kima and at the girl running towards them, then behind her to see a drunk man chasing after her.
Jasmine ran into Kima's back, clutching at her as if she would be the barrier that wouldn't break so the man couldn't take her. "Please, Help me! He beats me up and was planning to rape me tonight!" she cried desperately.
Talon watched as the man slowed a bit, then he looked at Jasmine who clung to Kima. "You do not wish to go with him? In exchange for our help, are you going to stay here or do you have somewhere else to go?"
Jasmine looked at him, "If it's alright I would like to stay here, I have no where else to go. I have no family or friends that know me anymore."

At Kale's stare her cheeks were beat red, but she couldn't look away. She could feel the heat run through her face.

Kale looked away after a minute, fingering his necklace again, his eyes closed. "I know you think my eyes are pretty, but do you really need to look at them like that?" he asked, trying to keep something almost like embarrassment out of his voice.

Kaida looked down, blood throbbing up into her cheeks. "I'm....sorry....sorry..." She apologized quietly. She was never smooth with anyone before, and him being a vampire probably helped the 'pretty eyes' concept.

"Okay..." Kaida mumbled, embarrassed. She stiffled a yawn, but wanted to keep talking with Kale. As much as she liked Talon, she kinda liked Kale better.

Kale looked at her again and stood up. "Come on, I'll take you back to your new room." He helped her off the counter.
