Rivener sighed as he floated to a stop in the living room, turning to listen to Lucia's words. She sounded so disappointed in herself. Riv felt guilty, having pushed her into that situation... "Don't be sorry, it can't be helped. I'll try to talk to him again later... And in the jar is, uhm... Something that's kinda part of him." Riv didn't elaborate, not sure if Lucia's guardian had told her anything about her origins yet.
"And maybe it is time for you to go, yeah. I'm sorry your visit didn't turn out so good... I was glad to see you though." With a sheepish smile, Riv leaned down and gave the kitten a kiss on the cheek. When he straightened again his smile was a little more honest, wide and encouraging. "Come see us again when Eiry feels better, okay? He's really usually much nicer to talk to. Come, let me walk you to the door." Slowly the Scorpion headed towards the front porch, reaching out to take Lucia's hand.

Lucia sighed softly when Rivener supported her idea of leaving. It was all so disappointing. She wanted to know more about ghosts. Josh said Eiry could help her. Why didn’t Eiry want help himself? Why had things gone from being so nice to being so . . . not nice? The kitten closed her eyes as the scorpion frei kissed her cheek. That was the farewell sign . . . Right? ”I’m happy I saw you again too and let me know when he’s feeling better. Maybe he can help me then . . .” Or maybe not, she added in her head.
The dark-haired girl lightly held Rivener’s hand and tried to think about the good things that had happened during this visit. Out on the porch she turned towards him slowly, still lightly grasping his warm hand. ”You’ll have to visit my balcony some night like you said . . . If you want I mean,” she smiled slightly. Again, she ran her fingers through her hair, then slightly playing with the bell on her collar. The light jingling sound somehow just made her more playful. Her other hand’s fingers fell from Rivener’s hand as she winked at him, her eyes sparkling, and turned to walk down the porch and back to the road.

Rivener hoped Lucia wasn't feeling too down about all this. The pretty features shouldn't be turned down in disappointment like that, they should be curved up in a smile! The Scorpion could only nod at the girl's words, silently agreeing to to let Lucia know when Eiry was better. "I'm sure he will be able to help next time, Eiry's really good with all this stuff."
Thankfully it seemed like the kitten wasn't going to be hanging onto her gloomy feelings for long, her lips lifting into a playful smile as the jingling bell drew both Freis' attention. Rivener chuckled, feeling mildly cheered up as well. "Yes, I definitely will visit your balcony. See you around!" With a wave, Rivener watched the cat-Frei leave.
