Roy looked silently over at Rhys, who was now heading out, not saying anything. If anyone were to find out that he had aided them...things would be bad...very bad.

Having now escaped (surprisingly) unscathed, Rhys looked about himself, now a good distance away from the gathering. Nobody around. He began muttering quietly to himself as a small glow manifested in his pocket. A second later, he looked into his pocket, noting with satisfaction that the note Roy had given him was now nothing but ash, seared by the holy light of a miniature Light spell.
Now the only one who knew of what Roy had done was Rhys himself. Nobody, of course, had any reason to suspect any interaction between them.
(I destroyed the note earlier, so the secret's safe.)

Roy sighed mentally when he saw Rhys leave. Whew...evidence gone. He then looked up at Madriana's door, then around him.
"Might as well go take a look around." he muttered to himself before he proceeded to leave.

Roy nearly jumped a foot when he felt Altenna's hand on his shoulder.
"Jeez! You scared the crap outta me..." he said, placing his hand on his chest to try to calm himself down. "Yeah...if you want."

“Sorry about that.“ Altenna smiled slightly and glanced at the door ahead of them. “ I was flying overhead and saw some activity going on over here. Decided to take a look... but it seems I‘m too late.”

Soren entered the FEF Castle, his eyes to the ground so as not to make unnecessary eye contact to any of his superiors. He appeared to be hugging himself, staff in one hand and a small bat on his other shoulder. The shadow of a three-headed dog trailed behind him as he withdrew into the inner walls and lurked by a window.

"Yeah...you missed a bit. The mistress Madriana blew her stack when she realized she had lost most of the keys to the Resistance. She plans on punishing Alihi tomorrow...I think." said Roy.
But he shrugged. "You do realize I'm working for the Mistress and I can put you into captivity for being here? You might want to get out before one of the morphs come and actually do that." he muttered under his breath to her.

“That’s what you say but I beg to differ.” Altenna said as she turned away from Roy. “I’ll go for now but I don’t think this would be the best place for you to be either. Do try to not get yourself killed...” She then started to make her way out of the castle and decided it was time to find the others.

"Something troubling you Soren-san?" he asked curiously, keeping his distance.

Roy scoffed.
"Nothing? Yeah right. But...I respect your decision if you don't want to talk about it." he said.
Roy then turned around with a swish of his cape and proceeded to leave, unless Soren would speak.

Soren said nothing. As Roy took his leave, Soren tipped his head up a bit, sampling the surroundings for any presences. Then he looked down, gazing upon the glint of the very object he had risked his life and reputation for. He stared at it, reassured by its coldness against his skin, then made sure it was perfectly tucked away in his shirt. Soren gazed out the window and pretended to be surveying the landscape.
