Chou was quite happy just sitting there, licknig the ltittle fairy's toes while she squealed out bell pitches and kicked her tiny feet against his nose. When she couldn't andle anymore tickling, she tucked her toes in, giving the angeli pup a playful little flick to the nose. Chou laughed as she crawled past his head to slide down and rest inbetween his wings and shoulder blades, curling up with a soft yawn. Guess she was tired. Speaking of tired....
Chou yawned aswell, his tali giving a gentle stretch, before he sat down, careful not to have good posture so the now sleeping fairy wouldn't wake. He closed his eyes and looked up, glad he was in the shade. What time.... He slowly opened his eyes, "It's about 3 in the afternoon. I have no doubt that the elders are looking for me... What about you guys?" that was when his stomach gave a long, painful growl, and he blushed, shifting his paws so they hid his furry tummy.
He loked to Deimos sheepishly, "You don't know if there's any food in this place, do you? I'm starved." he admitted, his stomach growling again, this time waking the little sleeping fairy. He looked back, "Oops, sorry, uhhh...." "Pika. I'm Pika." the little thing replied in it's tingly voice, before gently scratching the angeli on the shoulder blades, causing him to relax entirely. Getting shoulder blade rubs were the pup's most definite weakness, seeing as his wings always got in the way of rubbing them....

Deimos almost didn't hear Chou. He was still facinated with the little fairy. He looked over. "Food, there are small animals. They mostly live in the canopy. There are some fruit plants too. They're in season. But don't eat the small white berries. They'll kill you." His eyes shifted to Atlas. "Having fun there?" The fairy with Deimos was now annoyed she wasn't getting attention.
She tapped her feet on Deimos. "Varuna." She said with a huff. Deimos chuckled.
"Varuna, can you help us find food?"
"Will you take me out of the swamp?"
"If you want. I'll take you anywhere with me." And that sold it. Varuna squealed happily, dancing around Deimos before finally settling between his ears, sitting between his ears.
"Giddyup!" Deimos chuckled at that.

Atlas peeked at his two companions from the corner of his eye, trying to see how they got their little fairy friends to be so agreeable. He saw Chou yawn and he failed to realize that Pika, the little green fairy, was on his back. He was watching them from a small corner after all, as he didn't want to seem too intrested. Thinking Chou was blowing at the fairy, he did the same. Oops. Too hard, she was blown away a few feet, more because it was unexpected than because of the air. She tinkled indignantly at him before floating closer to her other companions. Alright... he peeked at Deimos now and walking back to the purple-blue fairy, he said, "I'll take you with me." All he got in return was a kick in the nose and many non-coherent tinkling. Okay.... He rubbed his nose and glared at the fairy. He would admit defeat... for now. "My name's Atlas." he told her. "Celeste," she replied before huffing and floating towards Pika, resting beside her on Chou's back. Atlas turned and walked away, acting as if he didn't care. When he was far enough away and hidden by a tree root though, he sulked. The other kits back home didn't like him and now a fairy he'd just met. He flattened his ears sadly, thinking that soon, Chou and Deimos would leave him, too. He curled up into a tight ball and tried to sleep, wiping his tears away quickly with a paw.

Varuna and Deimos talked a moment more about where food was around this area. Little because of the mud monster. When they finally agreed on where to go, Deimos looked to Chou, then to Atlas. Wait, where was Atlas? "Hey, did you see where he went?" Deimos asked to no one in particular. "Atlas? Atlas~"
"Celeste, were you being mean to that nice little boy?" Varuna had a slightly scolding tone. Deimos wondered if she was like a mother... or maybe older sister.
"Want to come look for him?" Deimos asked, not waiting for Varuna to reply. The swamp was dangerous, and Deimos was worried as he started to hop over the roots. "Chou, stay here. Or... at least don't go too far away... Don't need us to all get separated."

"What do you mean nice?" Celeste tinkled back. "He's so rude, kicking dust at me, blowing me away, talking like he owns me..." she muttered away although it was hard to tell what she was saying by this point. She grudingly followed Deimos, since she supposed there was a vveeeeeerrrrryyyyy small chance it was partly her fault. Hearing a small sniffle behind a tree, she left Deimos's side and floated over to Atlas's huddled form. "Go away," he said, burying his face under his tail when he heard the familiar tinkling, ashamed that she would see him like this. Despite his previous rudeness, Celeste couldn't help but feel sorry for him. He was just a kit after all, maybe he didn't know any better. Tinkling over to him, she buried herself under his paw and said, "I'm sorry." in a small voice. It was one of the things she preffered not to do since it usually meant that she was the one who was wrong. "I guess... I'm sorry, too." Atlas sniffled back. She delicately brushed away a stray tear from his cheek and nestled close to him, and, his previous hate for her forgotten, he nuzzled back. He was about to fall asleep when he heard Deimos calling for him again. He got up and shook, then gently lifted the sleeping Celeste on his tail. He called out softly, "I'm here." and feigned a yawn, hoping Deimos would think the slighty-wet tears on the corners of his eye were from the yawn.

When Chou first heard that his friend was missing, he forgot about his hunger and his drowsiness. "He's gone? Where? When? Oh, I hope he's alright!" he began to shuffle back and forth, wanting to desperately help, when.... Atlas just came back. "You're okay!" he bounded towards the other kit, Pika holding on for dear life, before he reached him, gently bumping heads and nuzzling the other boy. He had never really learned how to come in contact with other kitsunes any other way.
"Oh, I was really worried! What if another one of those monsters came and ate you or something?" Or what if you got lost? "Or what if you sank into the mud?" Chou and Pika were now awfully close, concern filling both their eyes. They were made for eachother.

Atlas was startled at Chou's warm reception. Not many others greeted him like that. He smiled in amusement at the two. They seemed to be a good combination. "Shush." he whispered to them, motioning to the sleeping form of Celeste on his tail. "I'm sorry I made you guys worry I just decided to uh... explore. I was... hungry?" He forgot to get a lie ready and he just said whatever he thought seemed reasonable. Certainly all superheroes got hungry after a fearsome battle with a swamp monster. He curled his tail around Celeste so she wouldn't fall and walked around to Deimos asking, "So... what kind of food do they have here?" Now that he thought about it, he realized he really was hungry.

Chou and Pika clamped their mouhs shut at the same time the moment they noticed Celeste was snoozing. Pika giggled, and slid down inbetween Chou's shoulder blades again. "Well, Deimos said there are critters up in the trees, and theres some fruit plants supposidely." he whispered as qquietly as he could, his tail twitched back and forth in a jerky fashion, "But we can't eat the white berries." he finished, looking up.
"How about I spook 'em out, and you catch them?" he whispered again, watching careflly for any movement in the black trees. Something was definitely up there, "And Deimos can find us some fruit, and maybe water. How does that sound?"

Atlas was surprised to hear Chou answering him. It seemed the question was already asked. He listened and nodded, agreeing to the plan. "Try to spook it out around there." he whispered back, pointing with his muzzle towards where the ground was most stable. He placed Celeste in the cover of jutting roots and looked to Deimos, waiting for his reply and opinion. He was here the most after all, so if there was something wrong with the plan then he would hear it from Deimos before doing anything else.

(Ok, I'm gonna do a time skip here to move this along)
Deimos nodded. "Just don't fall into the mud. I'm not saving you guys again." He flicked his tail playfully as Varuna giggled, agreeing with him.
"But you will save my sisters, right?" She asked.
"Of course. I won't leave a damsel in distress." He laughed and bound off with Varuna.
After a few hours, when Cho and Atlas had caught a couple young monkey like things. Enough for a small meal for them. Deimos and Varuna returned with some fruits they gathered, carrying them in a sack made of leaves. The meal was enough for all three of the boys, and the fairies each picked at the berries as well. Having had such a long day in the swamp, they all ended up sleeping for some time in the swamp.
By the time they awoke, and took the trek to get out, they had to blink as they were nearly blinded by the noon sun.

((Lawl ok.))
Atlas flicked his ears in Deimos's direction, acknowledging what he said and going off with Chou to catch the strange animals. They weren't that bad but they weren't that good, either. The fruit was better and Celeste managed to wake up for a few minutes to eat some before falling asleep again, this time with Atlas at her side. When they woke up, Deimos and the fairies had guided them back out and Atlas blinked rapidly at the sun. It was hard to believe only one day had passed. "So, I guess this is good-bye?" He meant for it to be a statement but it came out as a question. They had bonded together in the swamp and for once, he was reluctant to leave. However, he couldn't say it out loud. It would be like admiting weakeness in his eyes. Thankfully, Celeste piped up with a, "What do you mean good bye? You can't seperate us!" She floated closer to her other fairy friends and flew around them anxiously. She wanted to follow Atlas of course, but she couldn't leave her sisters. They've always been together since they were born!

Chou winced as they stepped out into the sunlight, the darkness having effected his eyes slightly. It was like he'd been wearing a black cloth around his eyes and then someone tore it off and put a flashlight there instead. He shielded Pika's eyes by lifting his wings so they caused a shadow over his shoulders. His ears folded when he heard Atlas said it was time to say goodbye. He whimpered out loud, completely not afraid to voice his opinions.
And Pika didn't want her fuzzy to be sad. "Yeah, you can't seperate us! And what about Chou? He'll miss you!" she flickered up next to Celeste, but was still close enough to Chou that she could comfort him. Chou looked down, blushing a bit, "I......." he swallowed, "I don't want to say goodbye.... I don't make friends easily... A-and... You guys are kind of like the brothers I never had... Like the family I never had..." his face was burning brightly as he shifted his paws, ears down and light green eyes on the ground. Tears were burning in his eyes.
Pika gently landed on his head, scratching behind his ears, before looking at the ther two and making a 'tutt'-ing noise while wiggling a tiny finger, "Now look what you did! He's crying! You can't seperate us sisters, and you can't ditch Chou! He's fragile!" she accused the other two kitsunes, shaking her head, before moving to wipe away the pup's tears, "Don't cry, Chou.... You're a boy, right? Boys don't cry infrontof other boys...." she murmured, although it was still loud enough to hear. But Chuo was upset, and so he just cried more silent tears, sniffling weakly as he tried to hide his face against the tiny fairy. Pika sighed. Poor fuzzy....
(*(~Pika refers to Chou as her 'fuzzy' XD~)*)

"Who said anything about good byes being forever?" Deimos queried. "If we did part ways, wouldn't it just be for a day or so? I don't think anyone could separate you girls. And after what we went through, who'd want to separate us?" He looked to Atlas and Chou. "Not like we can be a super hero team on our own. We gotta stick together. All for one and one for all. Or something like that." He nodded and walked around Cho before butting his head into the boy's shoulder, careful of his wing. "Now don't you worry. We ain't saying good bye." He nodded then looked to Atlas. "right?"

((Yea short reply xD Can't concentrate sis is keep talking to me @__@; ))
Atlas folded his ears back nervously. He wanted to stay with them, too and he had to agree with Deimos, so he just stuck with a, "Well, since none of you guys want to leave I guess we don't have to say good bye...." He acted as if he didn't care but inside he was burting with happiness. His first friends! Of course, there was always the doubt, nagging at him, saying they would leave him when they had to deal with him for long periods of time, but he pushed it away for now. Celeste floated closer and tinkled a "Thanks!" before floating excitedly around her new friends.
