I'm a little confused, why aren't there that many rps here? I mean, I'm certain we all have tremendously exciting ideas, you know? I was just wondering. The reason why I don't usually start an rp is that I have so many ideas, but I can't manage controlling more than one at at time. Maybe we could like partner up or I don't know. I'm just ranting here. Because I think the reason why (alot of people have admitted this) some people aren't active is that there aren't alot of rps to join... you know?
I'm not pointing fingers or anything. I'm just you, know. Being the hyper one who can't shut up for her life.

Well, it's like a Catch 20-(whatever), in order to get more members, we need more roleplays. But, to get more roleplays, we need more members.

But the members that are already here (including moi). What are our umm... not to be rude or anything, but excuses?
It's not my place to like... make anything final, but I had this idea. You know how everyone likes doing something in particular? Someone likes putting an rps together, some like juicing out ideas after ideas, others like making the character skeleton or the coloring/creativity of the introductory posts, graphics, etc. So if we kind of categorized everyone and then paired up on the basis of that, couldn't we have more rps and more active members then? Everyone will have something to do, right? But at the same time, it won't be something of a burden, considering their hectic real lifes...

That would be ideal, but there's one thing about all that: it's a guild. Not many are willing to be structured in such a way.
Though what we could do is set up a thread asking for different positions (idea maker, thread structure, etc.) That would work, but that's the only way.

Well, I guess a thread wouldn't work as well. Maybe we could like scout members and see what they're good at? Nah, feels like too much work.
I'll sleep on the idea tonight and see what I can think of.
Sorry, blurting it all of a sudden.
I was bored and I couldnt find any rps. (on Gaia in general) >_<

Ok, I thought about what you said and did away with the 1-month inactivity standard. Also, I brought any roleplay that was in the desert into the main forum if the owner was on the Roll Call. =)

well I'd like to suggest that we make a subforum for classifying roleplays., such as fantasy, war etc. so that people can go to an RP that they would like to be part of.
