If you were to ask me, I think this is like all but one D&D/d20/WoD/L5R/GURPS game thread I've ever posted upon.

It's off to a good start. It has interest from players. The DM seems ready to roll.

Something occurs off screen and one person disappears. Everyone waits on that person, but in that time spent waiting (days), one or more persons lose(s) interest from the level they had. This is no longer something amazing, as it is something they'd like to do. The other person is gone now, and with that, interest and morale lowers all around. Generally speaking, if the DM didn't have the problem, he now has morale issues because 20 minutes of game time have passed and one PC has left the party, even though it's been three pages of posts. Got to love the time issue on forums. Might be six days worth of posts and the group is starting to come together, but one guy leaves in the middle of a dungeon and is just zombied.

So here's what I see happening. With the time we spent getting the last of everything cleared up, someone lost interest. Now that the DM has had a couple of problems, this has kicked around everyone a bit, and even he feels disenchanted by this gaming thread because of the mess going on. It's sad really. I guess the campaign I'm working on for my college group is going to have to end up being one on here so I can try and maintain a decent game. Though I can't stop other players from leaving and starting the same reaction. *shrug*

I'm still interested in playing. I spent three days making sure my character was within the guidelines and up to par. I'd rather not lose that monk, as I won't be seeing another 15-16 campaign for a long time since I'm running one IRL for some college friends.

If you're still interested in running this, I'd gladly play a second a character so we have 4 at all times. I don't mind biting a second sheet. Just give me two or three days to make another character.

Before I go ahead and make an IC post, I just want to get everyone to describe their characters as they are percieved. I.E. should you have glamoured armor, please dont say so, just let us assume that you're not wearing any.

Chryses - Before you rests seated upon the ground a very large figure wearing extremely loose fitting tattered robes and a heavy cloak pulled upon his head. From under the hood extends a brown-furred snout with a black round nose upon it's end. The rest of the body is fully covered by robes or the cloak, to include hands which appear to be brought together in prayer under the robe.

Edit: On a side note, I just realized a character creation error on Chryses. Nothing major, just miscounted skill points. I shorted myself a number of points on accident. So I need to toss another 20 skill points (Yes, I missed 4 levels worth of skill points while rushing to finish up my numbers) into my skills to even up, and I'll be done! So everyone else can get up their "I look like ____" post and whomever is last can get the privlidge of first action! Woot! I'll have my character updated before I go to a party tonight.

Gijin is moderately tall for a human, about six feet, and has messy black jet black hair. He is handsome, but carries an aura of craftiness and underhandedness that makes many uncomfortable. His clothing is loose and dark in color, combinations of black and darker greys with bits of red. He wears his jacket open, a red silk undershirt beneath it. His shoes are far from the typical leather, instead made from thickely woven cloth that pads and silences his steps as he paces about the room, seeming itchy for something to happen. On his back is an average, and slightly worn, leather pack with two extra pouches on the side, all of which are dyed black. His eyes are gold and furled in frustration, darting back and forth over the room and it's inhabitants.

Shocked by his sudden change in surrounding. Taking a moment to double check himself and his belonging. Standing from a crouch to his meager full five feet, Omni slowly flexes each of his each arms. Sure that his body is uninjured, Omni proceeds to check his gear. Starting with his runed silver full-plate by gently tapping vital parts to listen for damage, then slowly drawing each of his four swords one at a time and inspecting them. Content with their condition, he finally moves to one of two silvery shields. At last he, the final piece of equipment, a silvery shield with a chromatic center. Omni is visibly tense for a moment, after careful study he becomes comepletely relaxed that nothing is missing or damaged.

There is a quick flash of light and in the farthest corner of the room stands a drow with florescent green eyes and short brown hair. He grins and adjusts his elegant robe. His powerful aura is strong enough to knock them back.
" My handy man didn't give you guys much... glory. God we have a very fine group here." he says nonchalantly as he swaggers to the group and grabs Omni by the armor and lifts him into the air. " I hope you survive this cutey, if you do we'll have some fun hmm". He teleports out of the room dropping Omni to the ground.

(he sounds like dr frankenfurter from rocky horror picture show)

"Dark elf" rolled lowly out from the inner layers of his vocal chords. The voice carried softly and deeply, with a near growl latent in the words of the common tongue. His voice carried in a soft whisper, audible to those near him, but hushed at his own accord.

The figure rose to his sandle clad feet, soft brown fur apparent upon the tops. His hands, in almost animalistic claws pulled the hood from off its resting place, his head. A doglike face came from under the cloak, yellow eyes scanning those in the room. His shoulders rocked back a moment before relaxing. In that moment arose a soft aura, lighting the area immediately around him, as if a torch in his own being.

Gijin, immediately upon feeling the immensely powerful aura, crouched down low to the ground as if ready to dash. His eyes went wide and locked firmly on the drow, watching for even the slightest hint of a spell being cast. When the drow grabbed one of his new associates, Gijin briefely considerded staying and fighting. He knew, however, that any efforts would be futile. Their only hope would be to run and, speaking of, Gijin was close enough to be hit by a blast.

He hopped back another ten feet, partly down the hallway, but was relieved to see the wizard disappear once more.

"We... are in serious trouble." He stood back up and looked back to the portals behind him.
