"Miraldae!" Lior screamed, as she bashed several goblins out of her way. She had no idea why the hell he was giving off an aura, notheless a blood-colored one at that. Lior threw a goblin off her leg and ran to Miraldae's side. "Miraldae? Miraldae! Answer me!" she cried, with an edge of panic in her voice.

By the time Lior made it over to Miraldae, the sword's aura had shifted to a gentle blue color. Miraldae quickly drew his sword from the goblin's stomach and stuck it through the head of a differnet one. "You don't have to yell, girl." he said, looking over at her. His eye had turned to a blood red color and and strange grin crossed his face. "I'm not deaf." he whiped his sword out of the goblin's skull and sliced another one in half, quickly spinning to kill another goblin. With a strange laugh he began slicing through the goblins with an enthusiasm he had not shown mere moments before.

Lior stepped back, appaled at Miraldae's reaction. "I was only concerned about your safety!" she yelled as she ran up the path, taking out goblins in her way. He wasn't like that before! she thought angrily, as she kept running. What's his deal, anyway?! Lior ran farther into the cavern.

Miraldae chuckled and followed after Lior, killing any goblin that came near him. After he broke free of the goblins, he broke into a run after Lior. "Here, kitty, kitty, kitty." he called with a laugh as he ran. "Let me takes your blood on my blade, kitty, kitty, kitty." "Kasofi! Stop it this instant! Miraldae mentally roared at the sword, trying to regain control of his body. "Oh, be quiet, Miraldae. It won't take long to kill her, then I'll give you your body back." Kasofi replied with a small laugh as he charged around a corner and spotted Lior ahead of him.

Lior screamed, but faced Miraldae. "Oh, back to play with the 'kitty'?" she asked in a gruff tone. She had enough of this. Lior ran behind Miraldae, and conked him on the side of his head. If he was in any physical pain after that, Lior would run in a different direction. After she did hit him, she hissed at Miraldae, and took off silently.

Miraldae spun quickly and deflected the bo staff, raising his sword for an attack Lior as she ran past. As he was bringing his sword down, however, his arms froze and the sword glowed with a violent blue aura. "Kasofi, give me back control of my body NOW!" Miraldae roared at the sword, trying to force the sword's soul back into its metal shell. "No, no, I haven't killed her yet! Let me kill her, you b*****d!" Kasofi yelled, looking at the glowing sword which now contained Miraldae's soul. He staggered and took a step back, trying desperatly to swing the sword and failing. He closed his eyes and tired with all his might to force Miraldae back into the sword, his body freezing as the two souls fought for control.

Lior ran further into the mines. "Dammit, dammit, DAMMIT!" she snarled to herself. "Now I'm freaking lost! This is why I needed him to come with me in them first place!" she yelled, but then shut her mouth, in case Miraldae heard her. She froze with fear, but got the courage to run farther from him. She didn't want to risk her life just yet.

Miraldae fell to his knees as he and Kasofi wrestled for control of his body. His sword fell to the floor with a clang as he dropped it and grabbed his head. "Hey, are you all right?" said a voice suddenly from behind him. Three men had heard the commotion and come to see what was happening. With a sudden burst of strength, Kasofi forced Miraldae back, grabbed the sword laying on the ground, and slew the three men before they could even yell before Miraldae regained control of his body and forced Kasofi's soul back into the sword. He turned around and sheathed the sword, breathing heavily from the mental battle. "Dammit..." he muttered, glancing at the corpses before looking around for a sign of Lior. "Are you happy now?" Miraldae thought to the sword with a scolding tone, but Kasofi didn't respond since it had been satisfied for the time being. Miraldae's head snapped to the right as he heard a faint yell and he he silently in the direction he thought he heard Lior from.

Lior's ears perked up, hearing almost faint footsteps. Damn, damn, damn, I'm dead now! she said, thoughts racing through her mind of dying at the hand of her employee. Lior noticed Miraldae running in her direction, so she sped up past him in a frenzy. Move, Lior, move! she thought silently, as she made a sharp turn around a corner and up the wall.

"Lior!" Miraldae called, noticing her ahead of him. He gave chase, using his battle trained muscles to speed up considerably. As he skidded around the corner she had disappeared around he stopped, slightly confused. "I thought I saw her go this way?" he muttered to himself, taking a few steps forward as he looked around. Maybe she had some kind of magical ability he didn't know about. It was quite possible. After all, it wasn't like he knew her well. His left hand moved to the hilt of his sword and began tapping the pommel slightly, which was a sign that he was deep in thought. She couldn't have gone too far, unless she had some kind of teleportation ability, which he doubted since she probably would have used it to escape long ago.

Lior held her breath, as she leaned close to the wall. She remained motionless while she watched Miraldae look for her. she swallowed hard, and accidentally dropped her staff. s**t! she thought angrily, as she reached for her staff. Lior crouched to the ground and grabbed it.

Miraldae's head snapped over to where Lior was hiding as her staff fell to the ground with a clatter. "Lior, there you are." he said calmly, his blue eyes locking on to her. He didn't know what to say at this point, so he simply spun around and began walking again. "C'mon. You still want to go to the western mining center, right?" he asked over his shoulder as if nothing had happened. He removed his left arm from the handle of his sword and crossed his arms again as he walked.

"Fine, I'll go." Lior said, in a saucy manner. She followed Miraldae, but kept a distance between them, in case he went "psyco", as Lior called it. The space between them was huge, the way Lior wanted it. She quietly walked behind Miraldae.

"You know, I can't really help you when you get attacked by a shade if you're all the way back there." Miraldae said, glancing over his shoulder at her. Not that he blamed her. He had just tried to kill her not long ago, after all. There was no chance of that happening again, however. The sword had drunk its fill for the time being, and he didn't plan to stay with her after this was over. He turned a corner and turned around, waiting for her to catch up.
((I'm going to go grab dinner. Be back later.))

((Okie dokie!)) Lior caught up with Miraldae. She placed a hand on his shoulder from behind him, and jumped over him. Lior turned and landed in front of Miraldae and held her staff up to his throat. "As long as you don't go psyco anytime soon." she said, having meant everything she said and ready to kill if he refused or turned on her.
