Ahead Brodix noticed a vampire dragging a young girl, who was definitely not a vampire, alongside him.... Wondering why the vampire wouldn't simply kill the girl now, he attempted to pay them no mind so as to not draw attention when they approached.... Perhaps there was more to this city than he had yet to realize....

Sophitita kep quiet as Vandal dragged her along. Now she knew why there were so many vampires. They were in vampire territory. She whispered to him, "I guess you don't get very many humans over here." Her attempt at a joke. But, she put a hand to her lips as they approached a vampire who was watching them carefully....

"No, we don't." Vandal went up to his room quickly and motioned for her to come in quickly. "It is not safe out there for you."

"Sorry..." She hurried up the stairs to his room. She looked around. Vampires lived so differently than everyone else. She looked back at him and smiled. "I hope you don't mind me here......I won't be a bother...."

Deciding it best to leave his meal to himself, Brodix continued towards the bridge.... From there he'd be able to see the city's layout better and gain some sort of bearing. Upon his arrival, he walked out about half-way across the bridge before stopping. He then began to survey the surroundings. Only then did he realize that the entire city wasn't populated by vampires as the section he came from was....

"Oh, I couldn't," she said with a blush. She hadn't known Vandal for long, and here he was offering his bed up to her. She waved her hands. "Really, I don't mind the floor. I'm used to it. I don't have any place of my own, so I just sleep wherever," she said with a cheerful grin.

Sophitia smiled, giving up the arguement. "Alright, alright. I'll take the bed." She walked over a window, peering down below. "It's so different here." She watched as the strange vampire, the one who watched them before, looked over at the bridge. She spoke softly to Vandal. "What do you suppose he's doing?"

Brodix felt eyes upon him. Ignoring the feeling, shaking it off as being an newcomer to the city, he continued to gaze out over the bridge. He noticed that the city had it's share of homeless vagabonds.... It seemed that he may very well be one of them for a while until he could find another form of lodging in this city.... but for that to happen, he'd need some sort of compensation, which he had none of now....

Vandle peered out the window and then coughed awkwardly. "He is surveying the area and trying to see where everyone is, where they belong. Thing's that he needs to know."

Sophitia smiled. "I think he looks like he needs help." She looked back at Vandal, her eyes pleading. "Oh, please! You think we could help him?" It was in her nature to be so caring, even for someone who could kill her without a second thought....

"No, Im not risking you getting hurt. Ok? He shall fine his way. Now come on, you must be hungry. Ill get you some food." Vandle led Sophitia into the kitchen and allowed her to pick some food out.
