Circe ((Sorry for throwing in another Nymphae but she seemed to fit into the Kiasyd description best out of all my faes XD)) Circe sighed. What am I doing hear? It's not like me to just randomly answer to some strange letter. She thought to herself. But then she remembered what the letter in question had said. It has been brought to my attention that there are many of you faekats out there who contain a great deal of knowledge, who seek to further this knowledge and have a thirst for it. For those of you who this describes my library awaits your presence. It was that very first paragraph that had captured her attention and allowed no room for other thoughts. She had tried throwing the letter away and then forced herself to do other things that would distract her, but anytime her mind had paused the words had returned. So finally she had given way to her curiosity, retrieved the instructions and was now standing in front of a rather ominous looking building wondering yet again, what had possessed her to come.
Well since I'm already here... Was her last thought before she entered the building and knocked lightly on the library door.((If the colors too light let me know and I'll change it))

((It is juuust a bit too light... I had to tilt my screen to read it. XD))
Grimoire's ears twitched at the sound of a light knocking on the door. He snapped his book shut with the announcement as a bookmark and muttered 'Oh, bother" under his breath before leaping from his bookshelf perch. He seemed to glide down towards the ground, an effect that would have been far more impressive had there been someone nearby to see him.
The door was heavy by any standard, yet swung open easily in his hands. He bent low in a sign of hospitality towards the newcomer (as a possible recruit, she was not to be harmed... too much) before stepping back and allowing her to enter. He sensed no hostility from her, nor smelled no spells or enchantments placed upon her by others of her kind, so, for all intents and purposes, she was clean.
"Welcome... to The Library," he said with a smile, turning his unblinking eyes towards her; best to let her know what she was getting into now rather than startling her later.

Amara sighed, looking up at the rather extravagant building, the letter that she had received rolled up and tucked behind her left ear. She reached for it, opening it again and reading over the wording again. "Well... I do seek knowledge, mostly of screen plays and possible journals of singers and actresses. But none the less, I'm here now so I might as well go in." The hopper had made her way here and she didn't want to be rude with not replying back or just not doing anything. It sounded promising and she was interested in meeting the people here.
Amara's ears twitched slightly as she noticed someone else was in front of the door of the building. 'Good, at least I'm no the only one.' She thought with a small smile.

((Ok I edited the last post so it's easier to read ^_^))
Circe had to only wait a moment or two before the door opened. She was a little surprised that the one who opened the door was bowing, she wasn't used to people being quite so formal. She decided it would be too rude to not respond in a similar manner, so she offered a half curtsy (she didn't want to risk tipping over trying a full one) and bowed her head. Once she straightened up she walked past the male and into the library. It took all her will power to stay where she was and not go rifling through the shelves, oh how she loved reading.
In an attempt to distract herself she turned back to face her welcomer. He was a little shocking but she managed to keep her face mostly expressionless, except for her eyes which widened slightly. His appearance at first hadn't been anything exceptionally shocking until you saw his eyes, there was something both fascinating and terrifying about them and the way they didn't seem to need to blink.
Circe stood there staring for a moment before she realized that she was no longer the only other person there. Hm I wonder if she received a letter as well...She wondered before turning back to her greeter. "Um...You wouldn't happen to be the one who sent this letter would you?" She asked holding out her letter.
(( gonk I'm so sorry I took so long every time I tried replying my net crapped out...it's been doing it for three or four days now ;_; Stupid new net provider.))

Two newcomers? Oh, how delightful this will be, Grimoire thought with a smile on lips. He bowed yet again before turning to Circe. She was, after all, the first to speak. He covered his mouth with one paw to stifle a laugh. yes, it was completely hollow and he hoped she had picked up on that, but he hoped he conveyed the proper emotion with this action.
"No child, I would not. Though I am flattered you would mistake me for my lord Marconius. He is..." he paused, mostly for effect, and partly, once more, to convey an idea he didn't eexperience often: a deep thinking about a point of common knowledge (he found that as time went on he needed less and less time to pull facts from the innermost recesses of his memory), "not in at this moment... though I assume the word out would suffice? You do agree that 'not in' sounds more mysterious, do you not? I, for one, feel that in a situation where one can use a variety of terms, they should choose the one..." He stopped mid-sentence, realizing he was rambling yet again. What a nasty habit that was becoming!
"I digress," he said, with a smile to both of the newcomers, and a wave at the one still standing outside, "Do make yourselves at home. The Library houses a multitude of volumes, so if you are a lover of books you should have no problem finding something to do as you wait for his lordship's arrival. If you are not, however, a lover of books... I would advise you to leave before he arrives." He ended his sentence with a voice of steel, cold and dead.
((Ohhh, I like RPing him. <3 And I don't know what to call Marconius. I assume 'his lordship' should do? XD))

Amara blinked while listening to the blue-haired vampire that welcomed her and the other kat that had arrived at the door. Her ears then pricked up at the one word that made her smile. Books. She had to keep from making her usual glee-filled face and had to clench her hands into fist to keep herself from flying past the two to go on a search for the screen plays she hoped they would have. "Believe me, I'm a lover of books." She said with a bright smile spread across her face, a small twinkle of excitement sparked in her chocolate-brown eyes.

Circe raised an eyebrow at Grimoire's laugh. Something about it wasn't quite...right. But the next minute her slight confusion over his laugh had disappeared and she felt herself smiling slightly as he chattered a bit. "'Not in' does sound a bit mysterious." Then the blue-haired male said what Circe had been hoping for. She could look through the books. She smiled a bit wider at his last words about books lovers before starting to look through the books upon the nearest shelf.

Sleet Tempest Snape ((Yeah I know and this is new for me, especially considering how the Kiasyd are, very different from my FoS)) Older things were simply more elegant in manner and had a certain history to them which came with age. They were things which bore witness to things that were long in the past, it was alluring really. Perhaps the hall did go on forever? But no it soon ended.
Stopping infront of a door he knew which would be suitable for the lady at his side he pushed the door open gently, after turning the brass knob of course. "After you my lady." Ever the gentleman the vampire ushered her into the sparsely decorated bedroom ahead of himself. "Do make yourself comfortable before we continue this further." He spoke smoothly. Smiling slightly at his manners, she walked into the room, her steps smooth and even as she took a seat on the edge of the large bed. It was one of the few things in the room. Her feet crossed at the ankles as she watched him, almost a little nervous again. Why had he brought her to a bedroom?
Kamilah ran a paw through her long hair, headwings fluttering, her eyes locked on the other Kat. What exactly was going on here?

Something would take place here that would shock many and that few knew of. He wasn't some pervert, that was a mortal thing really. No, he was no longer mortal and not held by the coils of humanity.
Rather he was a vampire and she was about to find that out as he approached her that grace never once faltering as he stopped infront of her. Slender fingers came to her face in a most gentle manner, his fingers cooler then they should have been...at least for anything living.
"I am going to give you an eternity to learn and study. You will learn everything that there is out there to be learned."
That was when his fangs made them selves known, right before he leaned in to lick up her neck before sinking them in.

Her heart began racing as he approached her. Something wasn't right about this situation, but as soon as he spoke, she recalled what she was doing there. This was all in the pursuit of knowledge and eternal study, somehow. Suddenly her body became still as she let that thought sink in, his cool fingers on her face. It was such an odd sensation and she nearly recoiled from his touch, but that would be rude of her. Slowly, her tail began to wave through the air as she attempted to relax.
Kamilah felt like she was holding her breath as her heart raced ever faster and faster in her ribs. Once again, her mind raced in thought. There were rumers of creatures that roamed the night; those who no longer lived, were cold as stone, and fed on the blood of others. She had never been one to believe in such thing, as she had never come face to face with one, until now, it seemed. As his fangs became apparent she felt the urge to scream for help, but before she could, he was upon her, fangs sinking into her neck.
The pain quickly spread from her neck through her body and her mind screamed at her to fight, but she couldn't seem to move. It was as though she was paralyzed as her life slipped away. Her body was arched and ever muscle tense as her head began to spin. The room was starting to get fuzzy around her and she knew in her heart this was the end. Had she been some kind of fool? Slowly, her racing heart began to slow and her body relaxed in the vampire's arms.

After the initial puncture of fangs through neck it should have become pleasurable. It wasn't as it he were rough in any manner. He was still a perfect gentleman as he held the fae in his arms, close to his body.
While he was no mind reader he was sure he knew where her mind was going and he remained gentle about his feeding even as one hand ran up and down her back soothing her. He did not wish for her to struggle and cause him to hurt her. He would not hurt a childe of his, or any member of his bloodline unless such was called for.
When he had drained her to he point she would need his own blood or she would die he pulled back from her neck. Biting into his wrist he pressed his pale limb to her mouth, blood dripping down from the bite mark he'd left in himself. "Drink and live, spend an eternity learning." She would not fail him, she would either drink and be embraced or she would die, and few wanted to actually die.

The longer she had spent in his arms, the less pain she seemed to feel. It was a strange sensation really, but not really unpleasant anymore. Through the thickness of the out phaze that was overcoming her, she almost came to enjoy the feeling. Dying was much more pleasant than she'd expected it to be.
Then suddenly, Kamilah heard a voice, his voice, in the darkness that was bearing down around her. "Drink and live, spend an eternity learning." Eternity. Was it possible? Was he not going to kill her? She knew if she didn't make a choice, she would die. As interesting as this journy had been, she wasn't quite sure she wanted to die just yet. His blood dropped onto her lips, into her mouth, and something within her took over. Strength she thought she no longer possessed presented itself, and she took his wrist, latching onto it.
And she'd never tasted anything so wonderful.
